Dinner was pretty great as I got to taste a mix of different cuisines all in one place thanks to the mix of different people gathered here.

The food that was made here would not lose out to the Amrap sisters either and I’d think the food was already enough of a reason for people to want to settle here as well.

Sister Ardi then appeared partway through the dinner and she made her presence known by clapping me on the shoulders from behind.

"Ahahaha! Sister Aster! I see you still hold great appreciation for food! That still hasn’t changed!"

I looked up at her while my cheeks were still stuffed full of food, my eyes perking up when I realised who it was.

"Swhisshta Arhbi!" I mumbled through my stuffed mouth.

She grinned and picked me up before she took my seat and set me down on top of her lap like it was the most natural thing for her to do.

"Ahhh~ This hasn’t changed at least, ahahaha!" Ardiolyta laughed, patting me on the head affectionately.

I squirmed a little in her lap before pouting at her, "Sister Ardi... That was years ago... You’re still treating me like I’m a child..."

Sister Ardi patted me on the head, "Oh come now, Sister Aster! You let Sister Odeta do this to you all the time, don’t you?"

Ugh... That is true... Oh well...

I went back to stuffing my mouth with the desserts that had been laid out in front of me, fully taking advantage of the fact that there was a huge variety of them here to stuff my mouth with them.

I vaguely heard Sister Ardi talking to my girls that were gathered around me, "So she’s still like this when she eats sweets, huh?"

Lisa leaned forward from across us, her feet still continuing to play footsie with mine underneath the table, "Ohhh~ Is this going to be a session where we hear about Aster’s past? Tell us more!"

Sister Ardi chuckled, "Ahahaha! Didn’t Sister Odeta tell you girls about her childhood? Ah! I suppose she was too infatuated with Sister Aster back then to remember anything else! Ahahaha!"

Odeta scowled at her from the side, "Sister... I told you not to mention that..."

"Why not? It’s fine now, isn’t it? You’re already Sister Aster’s anyway so nothing will change! Ahahaha! I still remember how nervous you were when bathing with her!"

I couldn’t really see what Odeta was doing since I was still stuffing my mouth with sweets but I could imagine her scowling at her sister.

I wanted to listen more to the conversation but the next few sweets I stuffed into my mouth were way too good and I just got lost in the food for a while.

Right then I was suddenly snapped out of my stupor as Ardiolyta shifted her weight a little which caused me to bounce on her lap.

It didn’t really affect my sweets enjoyment so I didn’t mind but that movement also made me become dimly aware of what the girls were talking about again, albeit just barely.

"So there I was thinking that I would just loop back around to deal with the monster, but Sister Aster obviously had other ideas! She just straight up jumped at the monster, wrapped her arm around its neck and strangled it to death! Sister Odeta and I were just staring at her from the side, ahahaha!"

Ah... I guess Sister Ardi is talking about my childhood to everyone right now... Well, nothing wrong with that.

"I have to say though! She was so cute back then you just wanted to squeeze and hug her! Ahahahaha!"

Odeta laughed, "Wahaha! What are you talking about? She’s still cute and we still want to squeeze and hug her even now!"

I heard Tsara sigh from the side, "It is regrettable... But if only I knew Lady Aster earlier, I might have been able to witness her childhood as well."

"Hmm... I wonder if we would be able to travel back to the past to see it?" Minnera mused.

Sister Ardi chuckled, "Ahahaha! Wouldn’t that be nice? If I could go back in time again, I would have gobbled Sister Aster up right there instead of waiting! Ahahaha!"

I tuned out the rest of the conversation and only returned to my senses again when everything was finished, prompting me to lean back and pat my tummy with a contented sigh.

Sister Odeta smirked, "You should totally go to the Academy as well Sister Ardi!! We can be together there as well!!"

The older Amrap sister grinned, "Ha! Right now, my strength still isn’t enough to be considered! No, I still need to train even harder first! Maybe when you reach the Academy, I might be able to reach the standard it needs for me to be there! Ahahaha!"

I’m not sure what kind of standards she’s trying to meet but I guess her terms for enrollment were different considering the fact that she didn’t attend a branch school so she might have harsher requirements to fulfill before she can become a student.

But the potential prospect of her joining us at the school was certainly nice to hear. The more the merrier as they say.

Right then, Sister Ardi seemed to have noticed that I had finished eating and looked down to smile at me, only that her smile this time looked like a predator smiling at her prey instead.

Err... Sister Ardi... Why are you looking so scary now?

"Done eating, Sister Aster?" She asked, her teeth on full display.

I shuddered a little, "Umm... Yes?"

"Perfect... Then we can move on to the next event for the night~"

I gulped, already figuring out what she wanted from me.

She’s definitely going to take me out to some dark secluded corner somewhere in the village where no one can see us... Strip off that coat of hers and then make sure there’s nowhere for me to run before she...

"Let’s fight!! I know the perfect place for a spar!"

I knew it! She’s going to challenge me to a spar!!

She didn’t even wait for me to give her my answer as she quite literally threw me over her shoulder as she stood up before dashing out of the building with my girls just watching her run off in shock.

I couldn’t even react either as the older Amrap laughed while she dashed through the streets, even jumping over some of the people that had been blocking her way just to get past them.

I heard a commotion from behind and since I was being carried in such a way that I was facing towards Sister Ardi’s back anyway, all I had to do was lift up my head to see my girls also running after me.

They clearly know that Sister Ardi meant no harm which was why they weren’t trying to stop her and was just chasing after her to follow her instead.

There were a few Amraps along the way that clearly knew who Sister Ardi was since they called out to her in greeting before they wondered aloud why she was carrying someone on her shoulder.

Despite that, no one tried to stop her as she ran out of the village with me and I realised she wasn’t running in the direction of the arena like I had expected her to but rather, in the opposite direction of it instead.

Where the heck is she taking me?

She followed along a dirt path at first before said path abruptly ended and she had to push her way through thick undergrowth, even leaping over a few rocks and a fallen tree or two while still carrying me in her arms.

Through all that, my girls still kept up with her from behind, all of them having no trouble keeping up with my Amrap ’kidnapper’.

Eventually, we reached a small stream that came from a short waterfall that had a small clearing beside the water.

Ardiolyta finally came to a stop and took a moment to look around as though to check if there was anyone else in the clearing before she placed me back down.

That gave me a chance to inspect the area and I could see that this was a place where people had fought before judging from the holes in the ground and the broken trees and rocks.

Ardiolyta then shed off her cloak so that she was only dressed in a simple chest wrap and hot pants before she punched her fist together.

"Alright, Sister Aster!! Let’s fight!!"
