Chapter 629: Chapter 631: Leaving Home Jing Family

Feiling also sensed that Wen Shufei was acting differently that day. During lunchtime, she was reluctant to come out to eat. Mrs. Jing asked the maid to call Wen Shufei for a meal, and Wen Shufei complained of not feeling well and having a headache.

Mrs. Jing immediately went to Wen Shufei’s room, "Where do you feel unwell? Let’s go see a doctor."

"Outside is so noisy, I have a headache," Wen Shufei said, looking exhausted.

Mrs. Jing frowned. If it was noisy outside, it could only be her grandchildren. She immediately went out and called Jing Hao.

After hanging up the phone, Mrs. Jing was not very happy and felt that Wen Shufei was being temperamental. Moreover, to Mrs. Jing, nothing was more important than her grandchildren. In her eyes, Wen Shufei’s words were a direct jab at her granddaughter.

However, Mrs. Jing refrained from telling Feiling until Jing Hao returned. That’s when Feiling found out that Wen Shufei had complained about the noise from outside giving her a headache.

Feiling paused. This was the first time Wen Shufei had expressed her discomfort. Feiling’s child was two years old now. Kids at that age were playful and mischievous, jumping around the living room, even playing with the trash can — uncontrollable.

Therefore, Feiling moved all such items into the restroom. Moreover, the children loved playing with water; they often tricked Grandma and their mother into letting them use the restroom and then they’d play with the water instead. If left unwatched, they’d sneak in there.

Children are half angel, half devil; when sweet, they can warm your whole world, but when rowdy, they can make you so irritable and angry that you may feel like spanking them.

And managing one child is challenging enough, let alone three. They are both endearing and infuriating.

But with children around, the house felt cheerier. Even Father Jing loved coming home, and so did Jing Hao, always buying things for the little nieces and nephews.

When Jing Hao took Wen Shufei to the hospital, Jing Yao also returned home and, seeing Feiling looking troubled, he asked, "What’s wrong?"

Feiling hesitated and ultimately didn’t say anything; after all, with Wen Shufei feeling unwell, it wasn’t clear what she meant, and speaking up might seem like stirring trouble.

Now in love, Jing Yao always rushed home after work to spend time with the children. Compared to Feiling, Jing Yao had more patience for the children. He could play with them, watch cartoons, feed them, put them to sleep, and bathe them—very skilled in all tasks.

So when Jing Yao came back, after dining and sitting for a while, he took the children for a bath.

Soon, Jing Hao and Wen Shufei returned home. Initially, Jing Hao felt indifferent towards children, but ever since Jing Yao’s triplets were born, he had grown envious and very fond of his little nieces and nephews.

Now that Wen Shufei was pregnant, Jing Hao’s mood had brightened, and he was genuinely pleased about the forthcoming child.

Wen Shufei looked both shy and happy, but after hardly taking a few bites, as Jing Yao and the children emerged, she once again complained of a headache and decided to return to her room to rest.

"How can you not eat?" Mrs. Jing said anxiously.

"My head hurts; I have no appetite and can’t eat," Wen Shufei replied painfully and left.

Mrs. Jing told Jing Hao, "Go check on Xiao Fei."

Thinking of Wen Shufei pregnant but unable to eat, Mrs. Jing felt deeply pained, particularly worried for the child within Wen Shufei’s womb, fearing the grandson might starve.

If once or twice could be coincidental, the fact that Wen Shufei felt headaches and discomfort at the sight of Feiling’s kids playing, refusing meals as a result, even Feiling was becoming upset.

She felt that Wen Shufei did that on purpose, and she wasn’t necessarily insisting on staying in this house, but Feiling had moved in here because Father Jing and Mrs. Jing liked their grandchildren.

Now with Wen Shufei acting this way, it was clear she didn’t like Feiling’s family living here anymore. So, privately, Feiling said to Jing Yao, "I originally thought I was being oversensitive, but now seeing sister-in-law like this because of Yangyang, Liangliang, and Xinxin giving her headaches and making her skip meals, it’s not just once or twice anymore."

Jing Yao was instantly silent, his heart also displeased, as no one likes it when someone targets their children.

The Jing Family’s house was not small, living in a large villa. Although it wasn’t the old Jing Family estate, it was definitely spacious enough for two brothers, and even four generations could live together comfortably in the future.

However, as the eldest son, Jing Hao was the heir to the family business. This place would definitely be his in the future, but since Father Jing and Mrs. Jing were still alive, Jing Yao’s family could naturally live here for now, since it wasn’t Jing Hao’s yet.

"Mom will need to take care of sister-in-law later, and she won’t be able to watch over Yangyang, Liangliang, and Xinxin. We might as well move back there," Jing Yao said.

Feiling nodded, also feeling relieved. Compared to here, she naturally preferred to live near her parents’ home. Now living here, even though it was still in the Capital, it was not close to her parents’ home, and with her busy schedule, she never had time to visit.

Jing Yao and Feiling also intended to move to their own little house, but before they brought it up, Mrs. Wen visited.

Mrs. Wen naturally prioritized Wen Shufei, and now that Wen Shufei was pregnant, even though Feiling’s children had already taken the position of the eldest grandchildren, Wen Shufei being from the main branch still made a difference.

Father Jing, Mrs. Jing, and Jing Hao instantly went silent. They were very fond of the triplets, having looked after them for two years, and had naturally grown attached.

In the eyes of Father Jing, Mrs. Jing, and Jing Hao, a lively family was ideal. And with Wen Shufei pregnant now and the triplets being so adorable, they could all play together later, which would be wonderful.

But now, Mrs. Wen hoped the Jing Family would show understanding toward Wen Shufei, saying her health status was poor, her pregnancy made her weak, and suggested that Wen Shufei might even stay at her parents’ house for prenatal care.

The Jing Family members naturally didn’t like the idea. Feiling gave a slight smile and said, "Naturally, sister-in-law comes first. We have a house near my parent’s place, and my mom really misses Yangyang, Liangliang, and Xinxin. It’s a great opportunity for me to take Yangyang, Liangliang, and Xinxin to visit my parents and spend some time with my grandparents."

"Feiling, you don’t have to do this, I’m not trying to drive you out, I just really don’t feel well, otherwise I can move out," Wen Shufei said plaintively.

Feiling forced a smile, "How can we ask sister-in-law to move out? This house will belong to sister-in-law in the future, and we have our own home, sister-in-law shouldn’t feel troubled."

"We’re moving today," Jing Yao spoke up.

"So soon," Mrs. Jing was a bit alarmed.

Father Jing said, "There’s no rush at this very moment."

Jing Hao shook his head at Jing Yao, "No need to rush."

Jing Yao said, "It just so happens I’m free today."

With that, no one knew quite what to say.

Though the Jing Family members were very conflicted, they went along with Jing Yao and Feiling’s wishes. That very day, Jing Yao and Feiling quickly packed up and took the children to their place.

Before leaving, Wen Shufei, with tears in her eyes, said to Feiling, "After I give birth, you can bring Yangyang, Liangliang, and Xinxin back to live here. I really like Yangyang, Liangliang, and Xinxin. I truly apologize for this time."
