The moment that the dark energy touched one of their spiritual energy barriers, they found that it was corroding it away. It seemed that this dark energy was very powerful and very concentrated to the point where they couldn’t defend against it with their spiritual energy alone.

So they had no choice but to move back away from it.

"Ha, ha, ha, you think that you can take our Jin Family down? We have our master to rely on, you’ll never be able to take our Jin Family down!" This was the voice of Family Head Jin that rang out through the air.

It was clear that the Jin Family had something to do with the sudden burst of dark energy that appeared.
