Wasting Money to Become an Immortal-Chapter 290: From the capital
"Who do you think you are to touch this young master?"
It seemed that what kind of master raised what kind of dog.
This young master acted the same way as his lackeys, showing that he wasn’t any different from them.
In fact, it seemed that he was even worse as he went to draw the sword that was at his waist.
This young master seemed like the stereotypical trash young master who threw a tantrum whenever things didn’t go his way.
With the way that he acted, it didn’t seem like there was anything good about him.
With the way that he acted, it seemed quite easy to guess what had happened here.
This young master was the one that had tried to grab this girl and take her away, this kind of thing was common for arrogant young masters like this.
As such, there was only one way for this to go.
"So what if I touched you?" I said in a calm voice, but there was also a chill that was in my voice as I said this.
This made the young master a bit confused as he never thought anyone would actually talk to him like this.
As for the lackeys of this young master...
They seemed afraid when they heard this.
It wasn’t that they were afraid of me, but rather it seemed like they were afraid of how the young master would act in response to this. It was as if they had already experienced something like this before.
As expected, the young master suddenly exploded with rage.
He had only been quiet because he had been caught off guard by the way that I talked to him. But the moment that he reacted, he exploded with rage since no one talked to him like this.
This time, there was no hesitation in his actions as he directly drew his sword to slash at me.
He was such a tyrannical and illogical young master that he didn’t even bother threatening me.
He just couldn’t take an affront to his authority that he wanted to get rid of it right away.
It was just too bad that he wasn’t able to do that with me.
The moment that he swung his sword, I couldn’t help revealing a disappointed look.
After all, it was just too slow.
Even if I didn’t have the Wild Raging Spear in my hand, it felt like they weren’t moving at all with how slow the sword came at me.
That was the difference between the two of us.
It seemed that breaking through all those different levels of cultivation had made me much stronger than before. These normal cultivators of the secular world weren’t able to keep up with me at all.
With how slow this sword was moving, there was a thought that passed through my mind.
If it was moving this slow, wasn’t this a chance for me to do...that?
As that thought passed through my mind, I couldn’t help feeling more and more excited before reaching my hand up towards the sword.
I reached out my index and thumb as I raised my hand towards the sword and then I squeezed the two of them together.
The two fingers pinched the sword in between them and I held the sword like that.
It no longer fell down once I pinched the sword like this.
The young master was shocked to see me holding his sword like this before revealing a strained look.
It was clear that he was trying to pull the sword back from me, but he found that the sword just wouldn’t move no matter how he pushed or pulled at it. It was as if it was stuck inside of an iron vice with how it wouldn’t move at all.
"What do you think you’re doing? You dare grab my sword like this?" The young master roared out in an enraged voice, but I just completely ignored him.
Seeing that I was ignoring him, the young master roared out at his lackeys, "What are you idiots doing? Kill him!"
The lackeys reacted when they heard this, but they didn’t get a chance to do anything.
There was a layer of electricity that was floating over them that they had completely missed since their attention was on the young master.
But the moment that they pulled out their swords to try and help the young master, the lightning suddenly fell.
It was as if their weapons had been turned into lightning rods as the web of electricity shot out lightning bolts that landed right on their weapons. The lightning traveled through these weapons and into their bodies.
As they were being shocked by this lightning, their bodies started doing this strange dance.
When the dancing was over, they just laid there on the ground looking completely charred. Their mouths were open and there was even smoke that was coming out of their mouths.
This time, the young master was no longer enraged.
There was fear in his eyes after seeing the lightning fall on his lackeys like this.
But he didn’t seem to back down as he said, "Do you know what you’ve done? Do you even know who I am? You dare to kill my lackeys?"
I just calmly looked at the young master and said, "Who cares?"
"You, you, you!" The young master looked like he was about to explode again, but then he suddenly calmed down.
He slowly looked at his lackeys that were on the ground and gritted his teeth as he held back this anger.
Then in a voice that was filled with rage, he said, "I’m from the capital’s Jin Family. Now do you understand what you’ve done?"
"Si!"
Everyone watching took a cold breath when they heard this.
It was clear that they recognized the Jin Family that this young master mentioned and that they were quite powerful.
Only...
I didn’t really feel any fear at all.
After all, I had been in contact with the strongest sects in the world.
It wasn’t as if some random secular world family would scare me.
Perhaps even the royal family of this empire wouldn’t scare me.
