I raised a brow look at the little monkey on the ground before asking, "Strange? What’s strange about it?"

Mu Bao Bao gave a shrug as she said, "It’s not that little monkey itself that’s strange, but the techniques that it used. These techniques are not normal, definitely not something that a little monkey in a place like this should have."

Without explaining anything else, she just went back to the picnic blanket and started eating the fruits that were there.

I looked down at the little monkey who was still in its submission pose.

Seeing it like this, the anger that I had felt before faded away without a trace.

At this point, I could only feel sorry for this little monkey.

So I raised my hand and pulled out another peach before approaching it.

I could see the little monkey give a gulp when it saw the peach, but it didn’t move as it remained in its submission pose. Though the way that it looked at the peach made it clear that this little monkey wanted it.

Since it wanted it...

I kneeled down so that I was at the level of the little monkey.

With one hand, I petted the little monkey on the stomach and with the other hand, I gave the little monkey the peach.

The little monkey happily took the peach from me and then...

It looked at me like I was its saviour.

The way that it acted was completely different from before.

It seemed that this little monkey wasn’t a bad monkey, it was just a bit playful which was why it had done all of that earlier. Otherwise, with its speed, it could have seriously injured me and the lackeys if it wanted to hurt us.

It seemed that the title that I had was still working.

I had thought that it was strange that the little monkey would steal from me in the first place, but it seemed that this was just the kind of personality that it had.

Though that did also show that this little monkey was quite intelligent.

After giving the little monkey the peach, I asked it, "Where did you come from?"

The little monkey didn’t seem to hear me as it was focused on nibbling on the peach.

But when it finished, it reached its hands out towards me as if it wanted more.

The way that it acted was like a little kid asking for another treat.

It made a bitter smile appear on my lips.

I didn’t get a chance to give it anything as Mu Bao Bao came over and smacked the little monkey on the head.

At first, I thought that she did it for me. However, I soon found that it was for a different reason.

After smacking the little monkey on the head, she reached her hands out towards me as if she was taking the peach on the little monkey’s behalf.

I had no choice but to give her a peach that was the same as the one that I gave the little monkey.

She nibbled on it and then looked at the little monkey with an angry look, like it had stolen her food or something.

The little monkey could only reveal an aggrieved look when it was being looked at like this.

Shaking my head with a bitter smile, I took out another peach for the little monkey.

After giving it to the little monkey, I looked at Mu Bao Bao and said, "Be good and share."

She pouted her lips before going back to the other fruits.

Once the little monkey was done, it reached its hand out for more, but I didn’t give it more this time.

Instead, I said, "Tell me where you found that strange movement technique of yours."

The little monkey seemed surprised to hear this, but it gave a nod and pointed in a certain direction. After pointing in that certain direction, it raised its hands out at me as if it was still asking for something.

It seemed like it was asking for a reward for leading the way.

Shaking my head with another bitter smile, I tossed a peach into the little monkey’s hand and then said, "Lead the way then."

The little monkey gave a nod and it didn’t bite into the peach this time. Instead, it held it on its back and then started leading the way forward.

Since it was moving, we had to follow it.

Mu Bao Bao was unhappy, but she didn’t suffer as she made the lackeys carry the fruits for her. She just munched on the fruits as we walked through the forest while following behind the little monkey.

It didn’t take long for us to reach our destination.

Since the little monkey showed up where we were, that meant that it wasn’t far from its home.

When we arrived, we were surprised by the sight in front of us.

Monkey mountain.

That was the best way to describe what we saw.

It was a mountain in the Myriad Beast Valley and there were all kinds of monkeys here.

However, these weren’t ordinary monkeys.

Every single one of them were spirit beasts and it seemed that some of them were quite strong.

With the way that the little monkey was leading them here, it was almost as if they were being led into a trap.

However, the little monkey just had a happy look on its face like it didn’t think that much.

Once they came closer, they naturally became the center of attention for the monkeys that were here.

They all looked at the humans that arrived and tensed up at first until they saw...me.

They looked at the little monkey that was leading us over and then some of the older monkeys came forward.

The little monkey happily ran over to them.

We stopped and waited to see how they would react.

The little monkey held up the peach that I gave it and pointed it at us.

With the way that it was gesturing, it was almost as if it was saying...

"These humans have good stuff!"
