Wasting Money to Become an Immortal-Chapter 128: Friend of Nature
As soon as they started roaring, there was a strange change that came over the bears.
It was as if there was something inside of them that was causing them to suddenly grow in size.
It was as if there was some kind of strange dark energy that filled them that started leaking out.
After growing in size for a bit, the bears seemed to look at each other before...
They started charging at each other and slamming into each other. It was almost as if they wanted to hurt each other with the way that they were just slamming into each other like this.
Just a moment ago, they were happily playing together.
Now, they seem to have been turned into wild animals.
The transformation that came over there just didn’t make any sense at all.
It was also a bit hard for us to watch this, especially the girls who had been happily watching over the cute bear cubs.
Seeing them attack each other like this really hurt their hearts.
Jiang Yu Ning was newer to the group, so she didn’t have the same restraint as everyone else.
She looked at me and asked, "Young master, shouldn’t we do something?"
The others didn’t ask this since they knew that I would usually have an idea of what to do or would be in deep thought, so they didn’t want to interrupt me. Especially when they saw the look that I currently had on my face.
But that didn’t stop them from looking at me after Jiang Yu Ning said this since they were thinking the same thing as her.
I didn’t answer as I continued looking forward at the bears that were slamming against each other.
Or rather, I wasn’t looking at them.
I was looking at the popup that had suddenly come from my system.
"As a nature loving prodigal, how could you stand and watch someone abusing nature like this?"
"Please save the animals and take care of the one harming the animals."
Reward: Friend of Nature Title.
"A title? What is that?" I couldn’t help thinking to myself.
The system hesitated for a second, but it still showed me what the stats of the title were in the end.
The moment that I saw the stats, I knew that I had to finish this mission no matter what. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚
No, I mean I was going to finish this mission no matter what anyway since I could never let someone that harmed these animals get away.
It certainly wasn’t for the extra title or anything that I was doing all of this.
After reading through the details of the system’s notification, I suddenly said, "Go and stop the bear cubs." Then turning to Elder Tian, I said, "Can you take care of the mother bear?"
Elder Tian was a bit confused as to why I would do something as meaningless as this, but he still agreed to help.
The lackeys didn’t hesitate at all to charge forward towards the bear cubs.
The moment that the bear cubs saw the lackeys, they also stopped attacking each other and started charging at the lackeys. It seemed like they were out for blood with the way that they looked at the lackeys, but...if one looked at it closely, one could see that there was a trace of unwillingness in the eyes of the bear cubs.
It was as if they didn’t want to do this and they were only doing this because they were being controlled.
The lackeys found it hard to restrain the bear cubs since they were attacking with the intentions to kill while they were only trying to restrain the bear cubs.
But in the end, one of the lackeys who controlled wood laws suddenly made several vines come out of the ground to grab the bear cubs.
Normal vines wouldn’t be strong enough to stop the bear cubs, but these were anything but normal vines. After all, these were vines that were made with wood laws, so they were much stronger than any normal vines could be.
With these vines and a few well timed restraints made with earth laws from another lackey, they were able to restrain the bear cubs in the end.
On the other side, Elder Tian had restrained the mother bear with what seemed to be a net of electricity.
Though this net of electricity wasn’t just simple electricity, it was a net made of lightning laws.
Whenever the mother bear tried to go against the net, all that happened was that it was shocked to the ground. The residual lightning filled the mother bear and forced it down onto the ground, shaking as it dispelled the residual lightning.
It was almost as if the mother bear was breakdancing on the ground as it dispelled the lightning laws.
Like this, the bears were restrained, but there was still a problem.
Elder Tian narrowed his eyes as he looked at the mother bear slam against his lightning net again and again. He then turned back to look at me to ask, "What are you planning to do? Or are you just going to let it keep doing this?"
I shook my head before saying, "Naturally I wouldn’t just leave a poor creature like this. Of course I’ll do something to help it."
Elder Tian raised a brow as if he was skeptical of this.
It was the same for the other lackeys.
It wasn’t that they doubted that I would help, it was that they were skeptical of if I would even be able to do anything.
After all, not a single one of them even knew what was wrong with the mother bear and the bear cubs. So it wasn’t as if they knew if there was anything that could be done to help them.
However, I just casually walked over to the bears while they were restrained.
As I walked over, they looked at me with aggressive looks.
The bear cubs even snapped at me with their jaws, but I didn’t mind it as I casually took out a little spray bottle.
