The thugs that were around me started to laugh when they heard their leader say this.

But still, I didn’t feel intimidated at all by this.

I just gave a casual shrug when he said this before saying, "I think that there’s something that you’ve misunderstood."

The leader of the thugs narrowed his eyes when he heard this before saying, "Oh? What could that be?"

This time, I looked at him with a faint smile as I said, "I didn’t give you this money because I was scared of you. This money is your hospital fees."

"You!" The leader of the thug immediately revealed an ugly expression when he heard this before pulling out his sword to point at me. As he pointed this sword at me, he said in a fierce voice, "Boys, he needs a bit of convincing. Show him that we mean business!"

At that, the thugs that surrounded me started coming forward with their weapons at the ready.
