Warrior Training System-Chapter 481: Warrior’s brittle resolve (R-18)
By the time midnight had long passed, Cassian had finally drawn every last ounce of pleasure from Katherine’s body. She was left limp and dazed beneath him, almost senseless, able to do little more than moan softly, lost in the lingering haze.
Even then, it still wasn’t enough for him. It never was. Holding her arms as her body sagged, he kept her hips lifted, continuing to move as her eyes rolled back and her tongue slipped free. The once composed face—arrogant yet kind—was completely undone now, twisted into something raw and obscene.
Her bare body only added to it: full breasts swinging with each motion, her curved stomach slick with sweat and their mingled fluids, the deep hollow of her navel gleaming like a gem at the center of it all.
That was when Cassian spilled into her again, a deep, rough groan leaving him as he sucked briefly at her ear, breath heavy and uneven. He felt her body tremble beneath him and pulled her close, finally releasing her arms but keeping her pressed tight against him as he emptied himself inside her once more.
Afterward, he didn’t let go right away. When he finally did, he carefully lowered her onto the bed. His body was slick with sweat, chest rising and falling, and yet he still wasn’t satisfied. His gaze lingered on her sprawled naked before him—his essence slowly slipping along her thighs, her wide hips and thick legs curving beautifully from her waist. Her breasts were pressed into the mattress, her pale arms loose and porcelain-like, long fingers relaxed at her sides. Every part of her tempted him, made him want to use her body all over again.
But instead, he leaned down and whispered softly, "It’s enough for now..."
He covered her with a sheet, cutting off the sight that threatened to pull him back in. After dressing, he headed for the door. Before leaving, he leaned down and brushed a brief kiss against her lips. Even half-asleep, she reacted faintly.
Outside, Ravees was waiting, irritation clear on her face, Hope sleeping quietly in her arms.
"Pig," she muttered as she walked past him, bumping his shoulder on purpose.
Cassian only chuckled, his eyes following her for a moment—catching the sway of her hips—before she shut the door firmly behind her.
Cassian remembered how it had started—how she’d changed, how easily things had slipped. He knew she hadn’t truly become different; he’d only been able to push her into doing things she already wanted in the moment. When desire took over both body and mind, crossing lines became easier. Because of that, he understood her disgust toward him now. Once her senses returned, she would realize what she’d done—and he was certain he’d left her with more than a little guilt. Cheating on her husband most of all.
Cassian shook his head, amused. "No surprise she left the room," he muttered as he stepped into the adjoining sitting room, oddly energized.
Inside, Ravees stood frozen, her face pale as she looked toward Lady Katherine lying on the bed. Even covered by a sheet, it was obvious what lay beneath. The heavy scent in the room confirmed it. She knew exactly what had happened here—she’d known it even before—but part of her had still hoped it wouldn’t go this far.
It wasn’t disgust that hit her first—it was embarrassment. The smell in the air reached her before anything else, and when she noticed the damp mark on the sheets, memories she’d buried came rushing back. Days she’d stubbornly stayed in that room while Cassian and Katherine were together. Memories she’d forced down for months. Memories of her own betrayal, and the guilt that had followed.
As they surfaced all at once, her body reacted before her mind could catch up. A sudden warmth crept between her thighs, uninvited and unwanted. From those memories alone, she could picture what had happened here—too clearly. Being this close to the aftermath made it worse, like having a front-row seat she hadn’t asked for.
Her face flushed deeper as her thoughts wandered where they shouldn’t, shame and desire twisting together. She gritted her teeth, hating how easily her body betrayed her, hating even more that the memories still had this kind of power over her.
But when she saw Katherine still trembling faintly in her sleep, she couldn’t stop her thoughts from wandering. She found herself imagining what Cassian had done to her—where he had kissed her, how he had sucked at her breasts, at her sex, where he had pushed himself inside her, and what it must have felt like.
As those questions echoed in her mind, she squeezed her thighs together and turned away from Katherine. She laid the sleeping Hope gently in her small bed, her face burning, her legs pressed tight as she hurried toward the bathroom. One hand slipped down, pressing against herself, trying to force the tingling sensation to stop.
She knew she could make it go away easily—but she also knew exactly what that would lead to. Ever since Cassian had taught her how, stopping had never been easy. It had taken weeks to finally pull herself back.
She didn’t want to start again.
"But it’s not cheating..." she whispered to herself, trying to believe it as her hand moved, rubbing at the wetness between her thighs. "It’s not cheating... I’m not cheating... yes, pleasuring myself isn’t cheating."
Her eyes slipped shut as she focused on the sensations. Her fingers, brushing over herself, slid lower, feeling the damp curls, then the soft, slick folds beneath. A quiet moan escaped her lips. That was when the last of her resistance gave way.
She didn’t wait anymore. Tugging her clothes down, she spread her thighs carefully and let a finger slip inside, eyes closed in helpless relief as the sensation overwhelmed her.
And if Cassian had known it would be this easy to break her resolve, he wouldn’t have let that shove against his shoulder go so lightly after all.
