Bella grew more and more confused as she listened. Being bombarded by his phone call so early in the morning, she felt a touch of anger rising within her.

"Damian, what does ’wander between two men’ mean? I don’t understand what you’re talking about." Bella said, "Did you hear some rumors?"

"Are you afraid of me finding out about these things?" Damian countered.

"Afraid you’ll find out what? I haven’t kept anything from you!" Bella snapped, "And also, I called you three times yesterday, why did you hang up and not answer? Do you know how long I waited in the freezing wind just to call you?"

Damian frowned, "Bella, don’t change the subject."

"What subject am I changing?" Bella’s face turned cold as well, "Calling me so early only to scold me for some random nonsense, I’m done with you!" After saying that, she hung up the phone directly.

"Damian, you idiot!" After hanging up, Bella cursed angrily.

Sharon Cheney came out of the bathroom after freshening up, and upon hearing Bella, she asked, "What’s up? Weren’t the problems between you two already solved?"

"Yes, they were solved. But I don’t know what kind of weird pill he took this morning. Once the call connected, he started mocking and scolding me, it’s really baffling." Bella was already in a bad mood due to lack of sleep, and now she felt even more upset.

"Did something happen? You should find out clearly." Sharon thought Damian wasn’t the type to lose his temper easily, so she urged Bella.

"I’m really angry now, I don’t want to deal with him." Bella tossed her phone onto the bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Sharon saw the phone on the bed ringing again, "Bella, the phone call came through again."

"Not answering, let him call!" Bella huffed coldly and continued washing her face and brushing her teeth.

The phone rang for a while without anyone answering, and eventually, it automatically hung up.

Sharon sighed; this was their relationship problem, and it was difficult for her to interfere too much. After all, matters of the heart are really hard to judge right or wrong.

Bella came out after freshening up and found only a missed call on her phone.

Apparently, Damian made a call that she didn’t answer, and he didn’t intend to call again.

Bella pouted, "Scolding me out of nowhere, would it hurt to make another call and appease me? Yesterday, I stood in the freezing wind waiting to call you three times."

Muttering, she flipped through her phone and waited a bit, but Damian didn’t call back.

When he calls, her heart feels aggrieved and angry. Now that he’s not calling, she’s worried.

Damian isn’t like a girl who loses her temper over trivial matters. They just reconciled, this should be the time their relationship is most intimate, so why would Damian suddenly get angry?

Could it really be some misunderstanding again?

Once she calmed down, Bella grew more convinced there must be a misunderstanding.

"This won’t do, I must call and find out." Bella just made up her mind to call Damian when her phone suddenly vibrated.

The malfunctioning vibration suddenly resumed working, scaring Bella until she almost dropped her phone.

"Damian!" Bella managed to steady her phone, only to see the incoming call wasn’t from Damian, but President Lloyd.

"What’s President Lloyd calling me for at this time?" Bella frowned, muttering before answering the call, "Hello, President Lloyd."

"Bella, did I disturb you? I hope I’m not waking you up at this hour?"
