Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 223 - 222: Sweetness (Part 9)
Damian didn’t find this matter troublesome, "If you don’t like it, just tell Mom directly; she won’t force you."
Bea rolled her eyes at his words, "But without Second Young Master Lancaster from The Blaine Family, next thing you know, there might be a young master from the Thornton Family or the Lawson Family. When will it end?"
"As long as you have a steady boyfriend, Mom naturally won’t arrange blind dates for you anymore," said Damian.
"Bro, that’s easy for you to say. Good men aren’t that easy to find," Bea put down her chopsticks, feeling exasperated, "You’re not bad yourself, but you’re my brother. Could you go back and tell Mom to find something to keep her busy and stop worrying about my life, okay?"
"Mom’s two card-playing friends went abroad for a trip, one of her gardening friends broke a leg from a fall and is in the hospital, so her activities have indeed decreased a lot lately."
"See, I knew it!" Bea thought her mom was setting up blind dates for her because she was too bored.
Bea felt super aggrieved.
Damian looked at her, "All these years, you really haven’t met anyone you’d like to settle down with?"
Bea shrugged, "You know my temperament. If I really met someone, I’d stop at nothing to get them. The problem is I haven’t met anyone, so what can I do?"
"I have a friend whose character, personality, capability, and family background are all good. Want to meet him?"
"What, even you are setting me up on dates, bro?" Bea grimaced.
"I’ll arrange it if you want to meet, no problem if you don’t either; it’s entirely up to you," Damian hoped his sister could find someone who would cherish her. His friend was reliable, but if she wasn’t into it, he wouldn’t force her.
"Forget it, these things are better left to fate," Bea said, "Whatever, I’ll head back to the family home this weekend. You’re right, dragging things out isn’t the solution. But brother, there’s something you have to help me with."
"What’s the matter?"
"I’m bringing a boyfriend home this weekend, but don’t expose me then, alright?"
Damian was speechless, "Mom can tell at a glance whether you two are really dating."
"Then you don’t need to worry about it; just don’t expose me when the time comes," Bea thought of a solution and finally felt relieved. She picked up the chopsticks and slurped down the noodles, grabbed her bag, and walked out casually.
Bella Acker returned to the bedroom alone, dried her hair, and crawled into bed, randomly picking up an album Damian had left on the bedside to flip through, only to find it was filled with photos of the two of them.
There were photos taken in the villa garden and balcony, travel photos, and many solo shots of her, though not a single solo photo of Damian.
Every photo Bella saw brought back memories of their past moments together, warming her heart like being filled with charcoal.
Damian opened the door and saw her leaning against the headboard flipping through the album, "Not sleeping yet?"
"Waiting for you," Bella Acker closed the album, "Damian, when did we take so many photos? I had no idea." Especially her solo photos, many of which she herself was unaware of.
"Developed from phone albums," Damian replied, "Since you’re still awake waiting for me, I’ll go wash up."
"Mm-hmm," Bella Acker nodded, "Damian, I forgot my phone, can I borrow yours for a bit?"
