Chapter 215: Chapter 214: Sweetness (Part 1)

Damian spoke while taking off his coat and casually handed it over.

Bella Acker accepted it with a cheeky smile and playfully made a request, "Damian, I’d love two sunny-side up eggs."

Damian tilted his head to look at her; Bella Acker giggled and tiptoed to kiss his cheek.

Alright then, two sunny-side up eggs it is.

Damian went to the fridge and took out a carton of somewhat fresh eggs, then started boiling water while also prepping beef, broccoli, and bell peppers for the stir-fry.

Bella Acker could cook a little, but her dishes didn’t taste as good as Damian’s.

But besides her, probably no one else would ever get the privilege of Damian cooking personally.

Thinking back now, Damian has clearly made so many exceptions for her, how did she not notice before?

Fortunately, there’s still time now.

Bella Acker placed his coat on a nearby chair and reached from behind to wrap her arms around his waist.

His waist was slender and strong, making it very comfortable to hug.

Damian held a Western-style knife, and the last touch of coldness in his eyes completely melted away, "Pull your fingers back a bit, don’t cut yourself."

Bella Acker hugged his waist tightly and whispered, "Damian, I’m so glad to have met you." Being liked by you is just wonderful! Being with you forever is even better!

So many wonderful feelings filled her heart, overflowing where once it was empty, leaving it brimming and happy enough to cry.

Damian: "Acker the Puppy, if you keep teasing me, deal with the consequences yourself."

"Hehe, what consequences, anyway, you can’t do anything about me." Bella Acker released his waist, stepped back proudly, and seriously asked, "Damian, are you sober or drunk now?"

Bella Acker always felt his easygoing nature was largely due to alcohol.

The water boiled, Damian continued to cook, ignoring her.

Bella Acker circled around the kitchen with him, wherever he went, she followed closely, a real little shadow.

Damian enjoyed her dependence and flattery and didn’t shoo her away.

Soon, he had cooked up two plates of stir-fried noodles, and the milk buns heated in the microwave were ready, just in time.

Bella Acker obediently grabbed two pairs of chopsticks and followed him to the dining room, "Damian, you didn’t have dinner either?"

"After you left, I chased after you." Meaning he didn’t have time to eat.

Bella Acker stuck out her tongue in an attempt to please him, "If I knew you’d come to find me, I’d have waited right there for you."

Damian raised his eyebrows slightly to look at her.

Bella Acker suddenly realized, "No, no, no, if I knew you’d look for me, I wouldn’t run at all, I’d stay by your side, hehe."

Only then did Damian seem a bit satisfied, "No talking while eating."

Bella Acker stuck out her little tongue and started to eat the noodles.

Woo woo woo, it’s been so long since she last had Damian’s cooking, it’s still so delicious!

Bella Acker happily squinted with joy, savoring every bite as she finished the plate of noodles and devoured two milk buns.

She never thought that after feeling sad in the afternoon, she’d be sitting at the table with Damian, eating his homemade dinner by evening.

This was a meal personally cooked by Damian, not to mention eating it; the mere idea of Damian cooking would be beyond belief for others.

The more Bella Acker thought about it, the more delighted she felt, her smile growing sillier.
