Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 123 - 122: Bro, You Got Dumped
Bea had heard early on that Damian Sinclair had been to the filming base and had stayed there for about three days.
He’d never been interested in the entertainment industry, yet this time he stayed at the filming base for three days.
Bea felt she’d sniffed out a whiff of gossip, and her eyes lit up a bit.
Damian Sinclair lowered his gaze at her, "Who told you that?"
"Don’t worry about it," Bea hooked onto his arm, "Bro, honestly, tell me, you’ve fallen for some actress, haven’t you?"
"Not quite yet."
Bea’s eyes went wide with shock and disbelief, "Bro, I never would’ve thought, someone as stoically expressionless as you actually has someone you like, I can hardly believe it!"
Damian Sinclair didn’t want to deal with her and turned to walk out of the tearoom.
Bea trotted after him in her high heels, quickly clinging onto his arm, "Bro, come on, tell me, who is the girl? I’m dying of curiosity."
"You’re not allowed to cause trouble," Damian Sinclair warned his sister, who was a little too gossipy.
"I’m thrilled for you, there’s no way I’d make trouble!" Bea exclaimed happily, "Bro, when are you going to bring her to meet me?"
"She broke up with me, and I haven’t won her back yet," he said as he walked into the elevator.
"What?!" Bea followed him inside, and in her shock, she barely managed to control her voice, making the whole elevator buzz, "Bro, you got dumped?!"
Damian Sinclair frowned, looking at her expressionlessly.
Bea covered her mouth and lowered her voice, "Bro, you really got dumped?" 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
With a sigh, Damian Sinclair pinched the bridge of his nose and nodded, "Yeah."
"Wow, that’s a lot to take in," Bea patted her chest twice, almost gleefully, "Bro, I never would’ve thought someone would actually dump you. Now I really want to meet her, she’s incredible."
"Where’d you learn that language?"
"That’s not the point, come on. Besides, I was just expressing my shock; it’s hardly foul language. Lots of people say that online," Bea waved it off, "Bro, what’s the girl’s name?"
"Bella Acker."
"Huh? That’s kind of like my name," Bea nodded, "She must be a charming girl just like me."
"You’ve been abroad these years, haven’t learned much else, but you’ve sure gotten thicker-skinned," Damian Sinclair glanced at Bea, not quite sure what to make of her.
"Of course, how else do you survive online as a meme page star?" Bea boasted.
"Not ashamed, are you? Instead of doing that stuff, you’d be better off learning something useful and getting a job at the company," Damian Sinclair stepped out as the elevator stopped at the basement level two.
"Oh dear, Bro, I came to hang out with you for some peace and quiet. If you’re going to nag like Grandpa and Mom and Dad, then I’d really have nowhere to go," Bea followed him into the car, "Seriously though, Bro. You’ve never used Weibo, WeChat, QQ—aren’t you afraid of becoming a relic?"
"So much chatter, if you’re not hungry, drive yourself home."
"Alright, alright, I’ll shut up," Bea chuckled, "Bella Acker, wow, sounds like a great name."
Meanwhile, in the hotel, Bella Acker was showering when she suddenly shivered, "Yikes? Why’s there no hot water? I’m going to freeze to death!"
