Old World, Brittania, Count Glamorgan's Domain, Lake Fairy Tower, the day after Laine's grand wedding.

......(Omitted above)......

In the bedroom, a warm atmosphere enveloped the room as Brittania's first snow of the year began to fall outside. The pristine snowflakes drifted down onto this goddess-blessed land, the snow in the Oracle Mountain Range arriving earlier than usual today. The distant mountains revealed only a vague shape through the thick mist, leaving behind a swirling, spinning, evaporating expanse that fused into clouds, while the towering trees outside were shrouded entirely by the thick white snow. The valley within Lake Fairy Tower was now a world clad in silver.

The world was wrapped in a seamless blend of colors, perhaps foreshadowing a bountiful harvest next year.

"It's snowing." Laine awoke from his slumber to see the heavy snow outside the window. He rubbed his eyes vigorously before subconsciously trying to get up, only to realize he was holding warm, soft skin in his arms. He smiled gently and held his new wife closer. "Surya, are you awake?"

"Mmm~" Surya, wearing a white nightgown and looking lazily alluring, blushed deeply and leaned on Laine, too shy to lift her head. "La... Laine, my husband..."

"My lady." Laine smiled.

His mind repeatedly wandered back to last night, recalling how the Duke's Daughter was incredibly shy yet bravely took the initiative to be intimate with him. They spent time in passionate embrace several times until the lady knight couldn't bear it anymore, then finally fell asleep holding each other.

"Laine, last night... did you..." Surya was extremely bashful, her entire face turning beet red.

"Hmm? Did what? Laine was puzzled. Everything that should have happened did happen, and he did finish, so what was off?"

"N-nothing." The lady knight's face was as red as an apple, ultimately unable to voice her question.

Some things she simply couldn't bring herself to say.

Their first time last night was exceptionally perfect for the lady knight. They completed everything they should on a cherry wood four-poster bed covered in iris petals. It would be a cherished memory for her lifetime.

However, what she was too shy to admit was that after her first experience, the lady knight was already groggy. At this point, the Lake Fairy answered Surya's prayers, possessing the lady knight to help her complete the subsequent rounds.

Surya wanted to ask Laine if he knew, but she simply couldn't bring herself to say it. Seeing Laine appear unaware, she had to shake her head repeatedly. "It's nothing, I just feel a bit..."

"Still feeling uncomfortable?" Laine's eyes flashed with a trace of humor and helplessness, shifting the topic.

"No, I just feel a bit tired but not sleepy." Surya lightly pecked Laine's lips. "Good morning, my husband, we should get up now."

"Yes, come, let me hold you."

"Mmm~" 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

The two lingered in bed for a bit longer before getting up. By then, the sun was already high in the sky, yet it continued to snow outside. After freshening up, Laine changed into a light noble garb, while the lady knight donned a fashionably sophisticated red wool coat with white-collared snow porcelain patterns. She pulled on black stockings over her long, slender legs, then slipped on a pair of bright red high heels. Holding Laine's arm for balance, they headed to the tower's living room.

Inside, warmth had long enveloped the room with the fireplace crackling, an apple pie baking within. Seeing the beautiful figure seated on the leather-wolf-fur sofa, Surya's legs went weak, nearly collapsing. "My Lady?"

"Lady... Isn't this supposed to be... our honeymoon?" Laine quickly supported the lady knight, eyeing the Lake Fairy, who was by the fireplace baking apple pie, with an unappreciative tone.

Today, the Lake Fairy wore a serene moonlight blue, princess-necked ruffled dress. Her golden hair spilled luxuriously over the couch. Uncharacteristically, she wore black velvet stockings similar to the lady knight, with toes teasingly hooking a pair of white high heels, revealing her slender, smooth black stocking-clad legs beneath the skirt. She responded indifferently to Laine's complaint with a smile, "My champion, this is my place. Why should I not be here? I intend to stay here for this period."

"What? My champion, not welcoming?" The Lake Fairy looked at Laine with an ambiguous, somewhat flushed expression.

"I..." Laine wished to say more, but Surya quickly pinched his arm, hinting at the utmost respect required toward the goddess. "Laine! This is a blessing from the Lady to us! Something other knights plead for in vain!"

"Alright, alright... I'll heed your words, my wife." Laine conceded, drawing Surya to sit opposite the Lake Fairy. "My Lady, can you bake apple pie as well?"

"Of course, my repertoire exceeds your expectations, my champion." The Lake Fairy took the finished apple pie from the fireplace, placing it before them, and her smile curved into an enchanting line. "Happy honeymoon, Laine and Surya. Would you like to taste my craftsmanship?"

"Thank you, Lady!" Surya felt honored to taste the Lake Fairy's personally made food.

Apple pie is quite a challenging delicacy to make, something Laine knew well. As a child in Autene, he particularly enjoyed the apple pies his adoptive mother made. This treat gained popularity in Imperial Courts after being introduced by Savior Ludwig following the Great Holy War. The exterior is wrapped in puff pastry, and the filling consists of crushed apples, cane sugar, cheese, cinnamon, and raisins.
