Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!-Chapter 268: Amusement Park Date
Last time with Mrs. Sutton at the restaurant, that incident with the illegitimate daughter.
Lauren Blair also found out.
It’s the first time she knew that Landon Ford’s family was so complicated.
But unfortunately it’s Landon who’s suffering, and it’s his dad who’s made the mess. Lauren didn’t hold it against Landon, but shared the same concerns as Mrs. Sutton.
Being a father with these morals...
However, now seeing Landon’s demeanor and character, Lauren is quite satisfied and doesn’t meddle with the relationship between the two.
After lunch, in the afternoon, there wasn’t much to do nearby. Lauren and the others didn’t need Thea Shaw to stay, so they sent the two off to entertain themselves.
Just as Landon was thinking.
The two of them hadn’t officially dated yet. They initially planned for this Saturday to be their private date, but Landon chose to meet Thea’s foster parents first.
With the entire afternoon ahead, he could take Thea out for fun.
Landon wasn’t exactly romantic. He thought of many places but none seemed suitable for a date with Thea, so he said, "Let’s go to the amusement park."
This was something he looked up when they first started dating.
It seems that one of the must-go places for couples is the amusement park.
As long as it involved having fun, Thea had no objections.
The two chose the largest amusement park in Aethelgard, and Landon drove Thea there.
Thea used to be more timid; she had always avoided thrill rides like roller coasters, which seemed life-threatening.
But after returning, she’s become braver. At this moment, she excitedly pointed to the crazy spinning roller coaster and said, "Why don’t we try that one?"
Landon glanced at the roller coaster, his face hidden behind sunglasses.
Landon, still wearing his sunglasses, gave a cool nod.
In the crowd, Landon and Thea were particularly eye-catching. Wherever they went, the surroundings seemed quieter than usual.
Landon agreed, but just as Thea was pulling him over, a roller coaster whizzed by at lightning speed, coupled with the desperate, excited, and terrified screams of the riders. Hearing this, Thea chickened out: "Never mind, let’s do something else."
There were plenty of gentle rides in the amusement park anyway.
Landon looked at her with intrigue, "Are you scared?"
Thea, being honest, nodded, "A little."
Landon, always understanding, patted Thea’s face gently, "That’s okay, let’s go on that one then."
He pointed in a direction, and Thea saw it was a cartoonish and cute airplane ride, very safe, too. It was mostly parents with kids in line, not a single young couple like them. Thea paused, feeling she couldn’t lose face, and said, "Let’s check out something else instead."
She took Landon’s hand and led him away. Once they left, the bystanders finally dared to voice their admiration.
"That couple is too good-looking!"
"Sure enough, pretty people pair up with pretty people, and extremely attractive ones go with each other, but this couple is exceptional."
"Even with sunglasses, how cool! Not just the face, the guy’s physique is amazing too."
"The girl is so pretty, like a fairy. If I weren’t afraid of getting scolded, I’d want to take a picture!"
"Coming to the amusement park today was such a brilliant decision. Didn’t expect such eye candy..."
