Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!-Chapter 252: Who Wouldn’t Be Upset With a Father Like That
This scene left Mrs. Blair open-mouthed in shock.
"That girl has quite the temper..."
And the key point is that the restaurant actually chose to keep the peace.
Chloe Shaw, seeing what Mrs. Sutton had said earlier, understood the situation and shrugged her shoulders: "That’s how it is, the restaurant wouldn’t dare offend her. She comes from a very influential background."
The gap between their worlds was too vast. In fact, Chloe Shaw didn’t know who the Ford Family was, but when it comes to Ford Enterprises, everyone is aware.
A super-conglomerate that encompasses food, clothing, housing, and transportation for the people of China is truly not to be provoked.
Mrs. Sutton shook her head: "Hard to say."
She also understood the restaurant’s actions and Hailey Moss’s arrogant confidence.
Especially since she’s part of this circle, she’s even less able to make judgments.
The few people simply discussed it for a moment. Since the person had already left, there wasn’t much need for discussion, and they quickly moved on to other topics.
Although Mrs. Blair and Mrs. Sutton had only met once, when it came to Thea Shaw, a mother’s feelings were the same.
Mrs. Sutton already felt quite guilty about Thea, and at that moment, she followed Mrs. Blair and asked about Thea’s past. Mrs. Blair generously shared many amusing stories, allowing Mrs. Sutton to gain a deeper understanding of Thea and develop a natural acceptance of her current temperament, bringing the two closer together.
Her child was originally a playful and mischievous character.
Fortunately, now she can only sigh with relief that her Thea, at least, is living happily.
The family had dinner together, and since they needed to head back to Chloe Shaw’s place that night, where there wasn’t enough space for everyone, Thea ended up going back with Mrs. Sutton.
Mrs. Sutton was extremely happy and had already arranged that once Mr. Shaw and Mrs. Blair were settled, and once Mr. Sutton and Aurora had time, they would all get together for a meal.
In the future, they would be as close as family.
Neither the Sutton Family nor the Shaw Family had many relatives, so now with another family because of Thea, naturally, they would visit often.
Although the Suttons were a newly wealthy family, both Mrs. Sutton and Mr. Sutton had worked their way up and didn’t have any superior attitudes, and they got along well with the Shaws.
After the meal, Felix Finch drove them away. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Mrs. Sutton called for the Sutton driver’s car to take her and Thea back, unable to conceal her happiness on the way: "Today, chatting with your Mrs. Blair, I learned so much about your past, and it really made me happy. I never thought you were the kind of girl who would pretend to be sick just to avoid school."
Her gaze was gentle and loving as Thea listened and smiled without saying a word.
Anyone normal—not particularly fond of studying—would find some excuse to avoid school at one time or another.
Thea, on the other hand, was curious about what happened in the restaurant today, and after a simple explanation about Hailey Moss, she asked the question she’d been pondering since earlier: "Mom, how many illegitimate children and daughters does Landon’s dad have from all the trouble he causes outside? Is Landon the eldest?"
If Landon wasn’t the eldest, Thea felt he ought to sever ties with his father.
Mrs. Sutton’s smile froze for a moment, perhaps thinking it wasn’t quite right to discuss other families’ affairs. But considering that Thea was currently involved with Landon, she felt quite sympathetic towards him and sighed, "Mr. Ford truly isn’t a good father. People often say Landon has a bad temper, but having gotten to know him, I think he’s quite nice. Most of those old rumors were likely forced out by his father."
Having such a father, who could feel good inside? Not doing anything outrageous to take it out on society would already be a blessing.
