Villains Act Shamelessly: The Heiress was the Great National Master!-Chapter 232: Blind Date My Ass
She realized that talking to Jimmy Zimmerman here was purely a waste of breath.
Just then, Chloe Shaw called and asked where she was. Thea Shaw said she had arrived, and Chloe was taken aback: "Why didn’t you tell me you arrived? I would have had the security escort you up to avoid that lunatic."
"Already encountered him."
Thea Shaw said from her side: "He really is a lunatic."
Chloe immediately panicked: "I’m coming down to meet you."
She hung up and hurriedly went downstairs to fetch Thea Shaw.
Thea Shaw didn’t want to talk to Jimmy Zimmerman either. She said to the security guard: "Please open the door, I’m Chloe’s sister. I need to go in to find her. Besides, we don’t know this guy at all. He even went to my sister’s door earlier. If this happens again, we’ll have no choice but to report it to the police."
The word "police" intimidated the security guard, so he was about to open the gate to let Thea Shaw in.
But Jimmy Zimmerman’s skin was thick, and seeing this, he squeezed in too, trying to go along with Thea Shaw.
He just couldn’t believe a woman could deal with him somehow.
However, the security guard still reached out to block him: "You better not go in. You’re not from our complex, and if a resident complains, it would be difficult for us to handle."
"Big brother."
Jimmy Zimmerman said with a flattering smile: "I’m just going in to talk, isn’t she my girlfriend..."
"She clearly said she doesn’t know you."
Even the dumbest person could see something was wrong. The security guard realized by now that Jimmy Zimmerman was probably pestering her, so he kept him from going inside.
Jimmy Zimmerman stood outside, unwilling to look at Thea Shaw’s back.
If earlier he felt that Chloe was hard to deal with, now seeing Thea Shaw, Jimmy Zimmerman was even more determined to pester the Shaw sisters.
After all, his aunt knew their parents, and he had a legitimate reason to hang around.
Pestering isn’t against the law, right?
Such a beautiful girl; it was the first time he realized if he weren’t thick-skinned, she’d never have anything to do with him in his lifetime.
The more he thought about it, the more unwilling he became.
Had he known, he should have done something when Thea Shaw and them were younger...
Girls from small places valued their reputation above all else.
Chloe Shaw came down fiercely wielding a baseball bat, and Thea Shaw was a bit shocked at this sight: "Sis, what are you doing?"
"What did that bastard say to you?"
Chloe glanced at Thea Shaw, seeing she was fine, then looked towards the security gate.
That’s when she saw Jimmy Zimmerman still standing there, not leaving.
Chloe’s anger soared instantly and she strode over, the baseball bat in her hand seemingly a deadly weapon.
The security guard saw the posture and realized something was wrong, dashed into the security booth, shut the door, and watched Chloe through the window.
Jimmy Zimmerman’s smile froze immediately upon seeing Chloe wielding the baseball bat.
"Are you a dumb idiot who can’t understand human speech? Let me tell you again, someone like you, I’ll never consider you in my life, and you want to go on a date? Date my ass, even if your aunt was here today, I’d beat both of you stupid idiots together. If I see you here again next time, I’m calling the police!"
The incident at the door scared Chloe so much.
Even now, thinking about it gives her the creeps. An obnoxious, sleazy man hiding outside your home’s door peeping through the peephole – how would you feel?
