Chapter 101: Chapter: 100 Rosalina’s confession.[2]

Julius rubbed his temple. He didn’t know what to say.

He felt happy, really happy, but mostly he felt stupid.

How could the guy who always said he was Rosalina’s biggest fan completely miss her feelings?

’I can’t believe I turned into one of those dense protagonists from the novels I used to read,’ he thought.

Back then, he would get so annoyed when the male lead never noticed the obvious hints from the female lead.

Now here he was, doing the exact same thing.

He lightly slapped his own cheeks and looked at Rosalina with a wronged expression.

"But you could have just told me!" he complained.

Rosalina let out a soft chuckle.

"Idiot," she said gently.

She reached out and stroked his cheek with her fingers.

"You are the most important person in my life. Of course I enjoyed all your attention."

She had her own reasons for staying quiet, but honestly, a big part of her just liked how he kept focusing on her.

Still, after today, she decided enough was enough.

She didn’t want to have any more regrets like the one she felt earlier.

She sighed softly and said, "Now go. I know you have something to settle with Nickel."

"I heard you talking about him... and something about a ’transmigrator’? I don’t know what that means, but it sounds important."

She looked at him seriously. "And I expect you to tell me everything later."

Before she could say anything more, Julius leaned in and gave her a quick kiss on her right cheek.

Rosalina squinted her right eye cutely at the sudden kiss.

"Don’t worry," Julius said with a gentle smile as he pulled back.

"There won’t be any secrets between us."

He grinned playfully. "After all, it’s time for the villainess and the villain to team up... and cause some real trouble together."

His eyes lit up.

"The one who really needed to pay was still alive." Julius muttered under his breath, then spoke up cheerfully.

"Alright, babe, rest here until I come back, okay?"

"Alright..." Rosalina nodded and leaned back against the soft seat.

Julius gave her a quick wave and started walking back toward the mansion.

Rosalina watched him from the corner of her eye.

She let out a soft sigh.

’Now that things had come to this...’ she thought, ’I will be treated as the clan’s traitor.’

She closed her eyes for a moment.

Honestly, she didn’t regret it at all.

Her revenge might get a little harder now, but it also lifted a big weight off her chest.

She wouldn’t have to keep pretending anymore.

And one thing was very clear: no matter what, one day she would kill the whole clan.

They had tried to sell her to the enemy she hated the most.

’Just you wait...’ she thought, her eyes turning cold and sharp. ’If I don’t make you all pay... then... then I won’t ever go on a date again!’

She let out a cold snort.

The anger in her eyes was strong enough to burn anything in front of her.

Meanwhile, Julius ran back toward the mansion like an excited kid.

He was grinning from ear to ear and humming happily to himself.

"La la la, lala la~"

The moment he entered the room, he saw the first elder lying on the ground with his arms and legs cut off.

Nickel was in the same state right beside him.

"Hohoho," Alfred noticed Julius’s sudden joy and chuckled.

He was calmly wiping his blade with a towel.

"Did something good happen, my lord?"

"Wanna guess?" Julius asked playfully. He was in an amazing mood.

As he walked over, he lightly kicked the bodies of the dead servants scattered around the floor.

Alfred smiled. "Did Lady Rosalina finally confess?"

"Bingo!" Julius exclaimed. He walked up to Alfred with a big grin.

"She said she has loved me since a long time ago. Can you believe it, Alfred?"

"And she even kept secret paintings of me, from when she was a little kid until now!"

He laughed softly, still remembering the sweet moment from just a few minutes ago.

"Hohoho," Alfred chuckled again and took a small step back.

Julius also chuckled to himself. He knelt down in front of Nickel.

Nickel’s arms and legs were gone, his face full of despair.

His eyes were shaking with fear.

He was still breathing and conscious, but he desperately wished he could just pass out.

"Hello, Mister Transmigrator..." Julius said cheerfully as he reached out and patted Nickel’s cheek.

"Can I ask you some questions?"

Nickel tried to pull away weakly, but Julius quickly grabbed a fistful of his hair and yanked him closer.

"Such ugly hair..." Julius muttered softly, making a face.

"I can’t believe this is the same color as my Rose’s. Tsk."

Nickel’s horrified expression grew even worse.

His whole body started shaking.

"P-please spare me... I won’t ever cross your way again... I swear!" he stammered.

His heart was pounding like a drum, and cold sweat kept rolling down his forehead.

"Lol!" Julius burst out laughing.

He turned his head toward Alfred with a big playful grin.

"Alfred, can you see the fear in his eyes? Look at him! He’s practically crying already."

Alfred nodded calmly while still wiping his blade.

"Yes, I can see it clearly, my lord. But shouldn’t he get some more special treatment first?"

"After all, he did kick Lady Rosalina quite badly earlier."

He said it with a completely straight face, as if he was talking about the weather.

"You’re absolutely right," Julius said cheerfully.

He turned back to Nickel with a wide grin that didn’t reach his cold eyes.

"You really have some protagonist syndrome, don’t you?"

He leaned in closer and looked straight into Nickel’s terrified eyes.

"Now tell me... how many villains were there in TST?"

Nickel’s eyes widened so much they looked like they were about to pop right out of his head.

He stared at Julius in pure shock. "Y-you... you’re also a transmigrator?"

Fear and disbelief were written all over his face. "But... but how?" he asked, voice cracking.

It didn’t make any sense to him.

This Julius had followed the exact same path as the one in the book, same crazy plans, same ruthless moves.

Nickel had been so sure Julius was a regressor, not another transmigrator like himself.

Julius didn’t bother correcting the misunderstanding at all.

He simply smiled and turned to Alfred again, asking casually, "Hey Alfred, do you know what a transmigrator is?"
