Villain Simulator-Chapter 154: It’s a Date!
Since childhood, Rosalie had portrayed herself as an indifferent, calm, collected prodigy, excelling in everything. She was so perfect that even Jessica began to think Rosalie was infallible.
It was a subconscious blind trust, born out of how perfect Rosalie always seemed—someone without any flaws.
"Without any flaw? As if... After all, you too are human, Rosie," Jessica muttered with a wry, contemptuous smirk.
It was only now, with someone finally besting Rosalie at her own game, that the fragile wall of perfection she had built around herself shattered. Jessica realized her friend was not the epitome of excellence she had always believed her to be.
Rosalie was human, full of flaws.
Nonetheless, she was still the daughter of the Cypra family, so in front of Rosalie, Jessica pretended to agree to her excuses, but as soon as Rosalie vanished from sight, Jessica’s face twisted with rage.
Rosalie’s ruthless and selfish behavior today had greatly disappointed Jessica.
She couldn’t help but curse in her heart.
’Selfish bitch!’
Relationships take years and decades to build, but only seconds to fall apart.
"Do you think I will be fooled by you, bitch?! Even if Adrian tampered with the ball, his target was you, not my brother."
Rosalie, in Jessica’s eyes, was equally responsible for harming her brother as much as Adrian, because if she hadn’t given her ball to Alex during the test, none of this would have happened in the first place.
As for Rosalie’s talk about sacrificing her own points to help Alex?
"Bullshit!"
Others might be fooled by Rosalie’s buttery words, but Jessica, who had known her since childhood, could see through that petty excuse at a glance.
She understood that Rosalie knew something was wrong with the ball. So instead of using it herself, she handed it to Alex, using him as a guinea pig.
"How could a selfish bitch like you be so kind-hearted to do something for us?"
Jessica knew that Rosalie saw her and her brother as nothing more than investments, pawns she could manipulate for her own gain.
Still, somewhere in her heart, Jessica used to believe that beneath Rosalie’s mask of indifference, there might be a glimmer of genuine love and friendship, given how close they had always been.
But today, Rosalie dared to treat Jessica like a servant, especially after causing Alex to fail the monthly tests, leading to his current misfortune.
"I was really wrong in judging you, Rosie..."
Despite all of this, Rosalie did not even apologize. She didn’t show a shred of guilt or remorse.
Of course, it wasn’t that Rosalie didn’t realize her mistake; she just didn’t want to acknowledge it. It was a matter of pride.
If Rosalie had apologized sincerely, or even superficially, her relationship with Jessica might not have developed this crack—a crack that would later split them apart and become one of the biggest reasons for her downfall.
But alas, Rosalie, who was still inexperienced, couldn’t understand that pride sometimes costs everything and leaves you with nothing. It is a spiritual cancer that devours common sense.
Despite being wrong, Rosalie’s pride didn’t allow her to admit her mistake.
Consequently, her behavior today, acting as if Alex got what he deserved and claiming she had tried her best to save him, dashed all of Jessica’s hopes.
It made Jessica seriously question whether it was wise to be so close to someone like Rosalie, who could betray her at any moment for personal gain.
Nevertheless, dealing with Rosalie was not an easy task that could be completed anytime soon.
For now, Jessica needed to focus on restoring her brother’s reputation and teaching that son of a bitch, Adrian, a lesson, as he was the root cause of all this chaos.
"Just wait, Adrian. For this upcoming Dungeon expedition, I will make you regret being born into this world."
Jessica had no doubt about Rosalie’s plan and her information about Adrian’s weakness. It wasn’t just because Rosalie also despised him, but also because Jessica had thoroughly investigated everything before coming here.
She knew what had happened in Alex’s class, how Rosalie had taken Adrian somewhere alone, and how Adrian was later seen running across campus, enraged, flustered, and disheveled. He had been scrubbing his face like a madman at the public water dispenser, as if to remove some invisible filth, not caring if his face turned red or what others were commenting about him.
His condition matched exactly what Rosalie had described.
"I bet he’s holed up in his room, crying like the little boy he is, and fuming over Rosalie. Hehehe... Suffer, suffer more, because this is just the beginning of your hell, Adrian!"
Her hands clenched into fists, revealing a sinister expression on her face. Jessica had too many scores to settle with that bastard, Adrian.
Regrettably for Jessica, she was completely wrong.
Unlike what she had imagined, there wasn’t a single shred of rage on Adrian’s face at that moment.
Instead, he was smiling and beaming with joy, smoking a cigarette under a neem tree.
Naturally, Adrian had no way of knowing what had transpired between Jessica and Rosalie, but he didn’t care to know anyway.
He already had a rough idea.
Furthermore, another important matter occupied his attention—chatting with Veena about their upcoming date.
"Adrian! When are you going to fulfill your promise to me?"
"Huh? Promise? What promise?"
Despite knowing exactly what she meant, Adrian continued to play dumb. His eyes twinkled mischievously as he feigned ignorance, blowing out a puff of smoke in the air towards the night sky.
Noticing his nonchalance infuriated Veena, and she could feel tick marks of anger forming on her forehead.
She swore that if he wasn’t a boy, she would have really punched him in the face without hesitation.
’A girl shouldn’t hit a boy, Veena. A girl shouldn’t hit a boy.’
She chanted internally and gripped on to her self-control with superhuman effort. Then, taking a deep breath, she scanned their surroundings.
Seeing no one around, she stood on her toes and whispered aggressively into his ear.
"Idiot, did you forget your promise to take me out for the night in secret after the monthly tests?"
"Ah! Yes, I remember now. Alright then, let’s go in a week."
"A week later? Why so late?"
"Yeah, at least give me some time to properly plan our date."
Upon hearing that word, Veena’s cheeks flushed a deep crimson, and the word echoed in her mind.
"D-date?!"
She immediately reacted and stammered, a stark contrast to Adrian’s calm demeanor, who responded with a playful innocence.
"Isn’t it a boy and a girl secretly going out to have fun, referred to as a date?"
"Y-you... Even so, why are you being so straightforward? Aren’t you ashamed as a boy?"
"Should I be? I think you should be more ashamed that, as a boy, I have to take the initiative. As a girl, shouldn’t you be the one leading?"
"..."
For the first time, Veena was at a loss for words. His audacity left her speechless.
She wanted to argue, to retort, but found herself trapped by the kernel of truth in his words. She had never ventured out alone, so she had to rely on him to guide her.
Of course, Adrian knew what she was thinking, but he was enjoying the playful banter too much to relent.
His smirk widened, and he spoke with exaggerated disappointment.
"You don’t want to?"
"No!"
Veena shouted.

Realizing her mistake, she lowered her voice, her face burning with embarrassment.
"... It’s not like that... It’s a date…"
"Wonderful!"
Getting her confirmation, Adrian cheered. He tossed his cigarette aside and grabbed Veena’s hands, pulling her into a celebratory jump.
The sudden motion made Veena acutely aware of her attire. In her casual night pajamas, without a bra, her breasts bounced freely with every leap.
"Hey... Wait, move slowly," she pleaded, her voice a mix of laughter and discomfort.
The erotic sight of her own body’s response made her wonder if Adrian was doing this purposefully. The way he looked at her—a mix of amusement and something darker—only deepened her suspicion.
But there was no way to be sure, and Adrian certainly wasn’t about to confess.
Nevertheless, despite her embarrassment, the shared moment of unrestrained joy that she was experiencing for the first time was strangely intoxicating for her.
For once, she felt completely free, laughing and jumping in the moonlit night with him.
His hands were still as warm and comforting as ever.
