Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives-Chapter 47 Absurd Dream
Villain Ch 47. Absurd Dream
As he walked, he took a moment to distribute his status and skill points over his character, carefully weighing each decision and considering the impact on his gameplay. But amidst the flurry of numbers and statistics, his attention was drawn to two particular statuses that glowed in a vibrant shade of green.
[Soul Siphon skill effectiveness +1%]
[Dark element resistance +1%]
He couldn't remember acquiring these bonuses, and for a moment, he was confused as to where they had come from.
Then, suddenly, it hit him as he remembered his additional request. He realized it was because of what he had done with Larissa and Vivian yesterday.
He couldn't help but grin. "I should do that more often," he muttered to himself, feeling the rush of excitement and power that came with the bonuses. But the thought of making that request to the girls made him feel like a pervert.
Pushing the thought aside, Allen continued to make his way through the hallway, his mind abuzz with the possibilities of what lay ahead. He was eager to test out his new abilities, to see how they would enhance his gameplay and give him an edge over his opponents.
Finally, he arrived at the portal room, where Zoe, Shea, and Vivian were already waiting for him. But out of three, his eyes quickly drew at Zoe, Abyssia.
She was the Kraken queen, a creature of immense power and grace, and her dark hair cascaded down her back in long, sinuous waves. Her eyes glimmered with an otherworldly intelligence. But it was the rest of her body that truly captivated Allen's attention. She was wearing something akin to a bikini, revealing her toned and muscular form in all its glory. Her hair was adorned with intricate shell decorations, and her bottom was held up by a series of thin, delicate straps that accentuated her curves. Her tentacles wriggled behind her body, each one as long and thick as a python, their suckers glistening in the light of the portal room.
Allen walked up to the group, his eyes flickering over each of their faces in turn. "Hey, everyone," he greeted them.
The moment Zoe caught sight of him, her tentacles, which had been wriggling and undulating behind her, immediately retreated and disappeared into her body.
Vivian smiled at him and greeted him warmly. "Hey," she said, her voice soft and melodic.
Shea, on the other hand, greeted him a little differently, her tone slightly apologetic. "I heard you guys went hunting last night. Sorry for our absence, Allen," she said, her eyes meeting him in a brief moment of connection. "We have something we need to do," she added, before turning her attention to her holographic screen and adding him to her friend list. Zoe did the same, her fingers deftly tapping the holographic keyboard with practiced ease.
"That's okay," he said, his voice smooth and confident. "Have you received my message in the group chat? I hope it can help you to distribute your skills and status."
The group nodded eagerly, their eyes fixed on Allen. 𝘣𝑒𝘥𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝑙.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"Yeah. We've got it," Shea said, her voice dripping with mischief. "Thank you for informing us." She paused for a moment, a wicked glint in her eye. "I will also provide other information to you later. Just wait, Kafra hasn't sent it to me yet."
Allen's curiosity was piqued. "About what?" he asked, his gaze flicking between Shea and the other members of the group.
"Our equipment," Zoe replied, her voice low and confident.
It made him turn to her. "Oh right. I forgot to ask that," he said, regret lacing his voice. It was an important one, especially for a game that demanded the utmost precision and skill. But he had let it slip from his mind.
He knew there were NPCs selling gear, but their wares only went up to level 100. And that wasn't even mid-game. He needed to find something more powerful, something that would give him an edge in battle. Perhaps he could scour the game world for rare items to forge into equipment, or maybe the game developers would offer them something special. But, as he knew all too well, there was no such thing as a free lunch and he realized that even though they were the villains of the game, they had to play by the same rules as everyone else.
The game developers wanted a playing field that would keep players engaged and motivated. If the villain was too overpowered and untouchable, it would make the game boring and frustrating. And that was the last thing the developers wanted.
Allen knew that to succeed, they had to work hard like any other player. They had to level up, acquire good equipment, and hone their skills. For sure, failure was not an option.
Meanwhile, Zoe's cheeks burned as her gaze met Allen's piercing eyes. Her heart raced in her chest, pounding so loud she was sure he could hear it. It was an absurd feeling, really, one she was almost ashamed to admit. But ever since last night, when she had allowed her thoughts to wander to him, she couldn't shake the image of Allen from her mind.
She knew it was ridiculous, of course. After all, they just knew each other, as teammates. There was no reason for her to be feeling this way about him. But despite her best efforts to push the thought from her mind, she couldn't help but dream about him.
And what a dream it was! So vivid and real, she could remember every single detail. It was almost embarrassing to admit, even to herself, how much it had affected her. But as she looked at Allen now, she couldn't help but feel her cheeks flush with embarrassment.
Allen noticed her discomfort, his brow furrowing in confusion. He watched her as she shifted her gaze away from him, nervous energy emanating from her. "Are you still thinking about your request?" he asked, his voice soft and gentle. He could tell something was bothering her, something she wasn't quite ready to share and he guessed it was because of her absurd request. Besides, Zoe didn't talk much when they were at the cafe, it was her mom who talked more.
