Everything happened so fast that none of them was able to react.
It felt like an illusion, a mirage.
One moment, they all activated their Domain Expansions, resulting in a violent shockwave inside the barrier of the S Rank Spatial Artifact- Veil Clipper.
Before they could react, the next moment another S Rank Artifact shattered the barrier, and again before they could react, a Harpy fell from the sky as Councilor Wilkinson suddenly ate 2 sabers to the chest!
All of it happened in the blink of an eye.

The Harpy who was engulfed in swirling grayish white qi descended in front of the towering Centaur.
The moment she stabbed both blades of the chains into the Centaur’s chest, her long mighty Eagle-like wings unfurled, enabling her to levitate in front of him but the force of her descent still made the ground cave into a crater.

Councilor Wilkinson’s legs sank into the crater as the two blades dug deeper into hi
s chest.

Councilor Wilkinson coughed blood as the capillaries in his eyes ruptured, bursting in a shower of blood and making his eyes turn bloodshot.
"Ahh...!" He gasped for breath as all his body’s biological processes shut down instantly!
It felt like the stop button was pressed on him with a remote.
His mighty Centaur legs wobbled as he staggered even as the veins in his head squirmed rapidly like they wanted to burst out of his head.
Councilor Wilkinson stared at the Harpy with a stunned, despair-filled and unwilling look on his face.
A Rank Awakened were notoriously hard to kill.
The higher-leveled an A Rank Awakened is, especially at Level 90+, the closer they get to becoming a Sovereign. In some areas of the world, S Rank Sovereigns are worshiped as Gods and for a good reason.
S Rank Sovereigns have God-like apocalyptic powers.
And the closer an A Rank Awakened gets to becoming a Sovereign, they become notoriously harder to kill.
Weapons alone is no longer enough to kill them, concepts and laws are now required. Domain Expansions are required.
Only beings with stronger and more refined world concepts and laws or weapons with stronger laws could contain and kill them, and the Chains of Oblivion was one as an S Rank Artifact.
The Chains of Oblivion was not any S Rank Artifact but an S Rank Artifact of the Warrior Class, the Class symbolizing war, blood, conquest, and calamity.
The Warrior Class was the Class symbolizing destruction. Alongside the Necromancer Class and the Assassin Class, they were the Class most adept at killing, erasure, and oblivion.
The only reason why Pandora killed Sir Greg so easily was because her domain simply overpowered his, killing him with the laws of her domain.
And now, Elena targeted Wilkinson with the destructive law of Instant Kill Authority!
Not even an S Rank Sovereign could escape it once the conditions were met.
In normal circumstances, even after suffering critical hit and receiving crippling damage, ever after having their heads severed, high-leveled A Rank Awakened don’t die easily, especially those above Level 90.
But this time, it was different.
Councilor Wilkinson could sense Oblivion, he could feel the approach of death. In his last moments, he felt his life flash before his eyes.
’I’m about to die!’ The powerful Centaur realized and he panicked.
When he sought the help of the Elven Queen and embarked on this operation, the worst he ever thought would happen was losing and being forced to swear loyalty to Zaratul again.
He never entertained the possibility of death till now.
In his desperation, with both his hands, the powerful Centaur grabbed the chains even as strength rapidly drained from his body.
His bloodshot eyes were fixated on the Harpy. ’She’s not even Level 80!’ He thought angrily. ’How can she be the one to kill me?’
In that moment, Councilor Wilkinson regretted a lot of his life choices but it was too late to choose again.
But even at that, he was not willing to die such an anticlimactic death.
He wanted to at least struggle, he wanted to fight.
"Rargh...!" He snarled as instinctively and aggressively, he tried to stimulate his qi for one last struggle to activate skills to at least take the Harpy down with him but nothing happened.
Absolute Paralysis!
Even his qi was sealed.
The effects of the Chains of Oblivion were absolute; this was the power of an offensive type S Rank Artifact.
The Warrior Class was the Class representing war and calamity.
They were masters at dominating and surviving war as showed by their 3 Class pathways- Juggernaut, Berserker, and Duelist, but right now none of that mattered because Councilor Wilkinson couldn’t even use his qi.
He was being targeted by an Artifact with a deeper and more inescapable law of his own Class, he couldn’t resist.
He was dying and he could do nothing about it!
’Ah, I hate this’.
The Centaur held the thick chains and stared at the Harpy. "You..."
That was Councilor Wilkinson’s last words as Elena applied more force, pushing the sabers all the way till they emerged from his back!
Councilor Wilkinson’s body shuddered, his legs wobbled, then he finally collapsed.

The Level 95 A Rank Paragon of the Warrior Class, the strongest of the 3 Councilors of Falaniondor, one of the three rulers of a sovereign Kingdom collapsed in a pool of blood.
He was dead.
He was embraced by Oblivion.
And the moment the Level 95 A Rank Paragon Centaur died, Elena felt it as her eyes instantly ignited with a fierce grayish white light even as EXP flooded into her being.
This was no regular kill, this was a kill targeting the leader of a sovereign Kingdom, this was a kill targeting a being with fame and notoriety.
While Lord Zaratul embodied the Concept of Debauchery, Elena as an A Rank Warrior embodied the Concept of War and Conquest.
Killing an enemy leader was an ultimate act of conquest.
As the EXP flooded into her body, Elena floated in the sky as she felt herself level up 3 levels instantly!
From a Level 79 A Rank Paragon, Elena became a Level 82 A Rank Paragon!
