Villain in a Fantasy World; I Level Up by Conquering Villainesses-Chapter 75: Chains of Oblivion
There was a reason why from the beginning of the battle, none of them tried using their Domain Expansions from the onset.
Afterall, every single one of them was a talented Awakened exceeding Level 80. They all had the talent, the ability and the experience to use their Domain Expansions already, and yet, they refrained from using it till now.
This is because first, every use of a Domain Expansion drains a big chunk of an A Rank powerhouse’s qi.
This is why it’s a battle-ending tool more than anything. Considering that most A Rank Awakened can only use their Domain Expansion once or twice in a single battle, they always hold back till the battle situation becomes either favorable or unfavorable.
Also, another reason why they didn’t use their domains was because of the tendency of domains to either cancel each other out or compete for dominance with one domain overpowering the other.
This tendency becomes even more prevalent when the overlapping domains are more than 1.
Domains do not have the self-awareness to differentiate between allies or enemies. If 5 domains are unleashed within a single region, all 5 would contest for dominance resulting in a chaotic conflagration.
Most often than not, the chaos of multiple domains overlapping alone is enough to destabilize any domain not S Rank.
If it was a 1v1 situation, the Centaurs and Elves would dominate simply because of their higher Levels than their opponents which most translated to domain refinement.
But it was not a 1v1 battle. And now, it just became a domain battle royal.
When Xoreth used her Domain Expansion, she pushed the button forcing the others to also reveal their cards.
And in so doing, 8 different domains were forced to contest for dominance!
The only outcome of such a scenario was chaos, entropy and destruction.
KABOOOOOMMMMM!
Reality inside the bank hall shattered!
The horrifying power of 8 domains contesting against each other and then canceling each other out generated so much power that the entire bank building shuddered from its foundations, but it didn’t collapse yet.
The bank didn’t collapse because of the S Rank barrier still supporting it but even at that, for the first time, the barrier surrounding the Central Back showed cracks.
The barrier wobbled, creating a weak point.
...
Outside the Central Bank of Falaniondor...
CRACK!
For the first time, the spatial barrier isolating and locking the Central Bank from the outside world became visible as thick snake-like cracks spread across its surface even as it shimmered as if it was struggling to maintain its integrity.
While this happened, a certain coffin floated in the sky.
The moment a weak point appeared in the spatial barrier, the coffin that was covered in a cocoon of blood sensed it as it vibrated violently in the sky like a Shark that just smelled blood.
Compared to the blood of the weak C and B Rank soldiers that it’s been harvesting and drinking for the past few minutes, the scent of this blood was fare more delicious and intoxicating.
The scent was arousing.
The Coffin vibrated violently in the sky before it suddenly disappeared in a bloody haze.
Blood Teleportation!
The coffin appeared high above the Central Bank, then more blood suddenly erupted from inside it, dragging more from the surrounding as this blood converged around the coffin, becoming thick and congealed till the coffin suddenly felt as heavy as a mountain.
The sheer gravitational presence of the coffin warped the surrounding atmosphere and spacetime.
Heavy Coffin!
Then the coffin plummeted.
It plummeted for just 3 seconds that felt like an eternity before colliding against the shimmering barrier protecting the Central Bank.
CRKSH!
More cracks appeared, and then...
KABOOOOOMMMMMM!
The spatial barrier shattered!
Like they say that only S Rank Sovereigns can fight S Rank Sovereigns, only S Rank Artifacts can defeat S Rank Artifacts.
Instantly, inside the Central Bank was no longer locked from the outside world even as the entire building finally collapsed like an unstable deck of cards, burying the 8 A Rank Awakened that were fighting inside.
All 8 of them emerged unscathed as the coffin floated above them, the dense and sinister qi of the Artifact making them feel a chill crawl down their spines.
And that was when another existence suddenly appeared in the sky above the Central Bank- Elena.
With her massive Eagle-wings folded and tucked into a bullet-like shape to accelerate, the Harpy went on a Falcon’s dive all the way from Dreadmoor that was extremely high above the city.
She accelerated every millisecond and in just a second, she broke the sound barrier.
BOOM!
She exceeded 500 km/hour, 800, 1000, 2000, then 5,000 kilometers per hour as she turned into a grayish white blur!
On her hand was a different weapon from her Spear that she just retrieved from Dreadmoor’s Armory, a long Chain with 2 saber-like blades, an S Rank Artifact, the Chains of Oblivion.
[Artifact Name: Chains of Oblivion]
[Classification: Warrior Relic]
[Rank: S]
[Binding: Willbound (Rejects non-warrior souls).]

[2. Chains of Binding Verdict]
The chains automatically target hostile entities deemed a threat by the Artifact.
>Binds multiple enemies simultaneously.
>Suppress regeneration, shapeshifting, and domain control.
>Converts enemy qi output into stamina for the wielder.
(NOTE: The more powerful the enemy, the heavier and more unbreakable the chains become.)
[3. Final Verdict- Oblivion]
(Activation Condition: Enemy is restrained by the chains for 3 seconds).
Effect: When activated...
>Instant Kill Authority; executes the target unconditionally.
>Bypasses HP, shields, immortality, charms, clones, backups, and failsafes.
>Deletes the enemy’s existence anchor.
(NOTE: This effect functions on any enemy, including S Rank Sovereigns so long they’re restrained for 3 seconds).
Elena wielded the Chains of Oblivion as she dove down from the sky all the way from Dreadmoor, and her target was Councilor Wilkinson.
The moment the coffin broke the barrier of the S Rank Artifact, Veil Clipper, all 8 Awakened powerhouses inside the ruin of the bank looked up, and that was when they noticed the distant Bird of Prey swooping down from the sky.
They also noticed the chains on her hands.
And that was when Councilor Wilkinson determined that something was wrong. ’I can’t move!’
His eyes widened. ’Paralysis?’
He couldn’t even move his head as his face remained stiffly focused on the descending Harpy.
Horror and despair showed in his eyes as he stayed motionless.
1 second...
2 seconds...
3 seconds...
4 seconds... then Elena descended.
BAM!
She descended with both saber-like blades of the Chains of Oblivion stabbing into both left and right chests of the Level 95 A Rank Centaur!
Final Verdict: Oblivion!
