Chapter 21: 21 Wow, this guy really has some skills

"What? He didn’t come?"

"If he didn’t come, why are you back?" Liu Zi was furious. He was in this state, and Yang Rong hadn’t even brought the doctor back.

He blurted this out without thinking, and the words left a bad taste in Yang Rong’s mouth. She regretted having rushed out to find Wang Jian; it had clearly been pointless. This Liu Zi is not a good partner, not a good man, and certainly not a good person.

Yang Rong had been a little worried about performing the acupuncture herself, but seeing Liu Zi act like this, her concerns vanished, and she was no longer in any hurry. She began to speak in a slow, deliberate manner. "I happened to run into Wang Jian at the entrance to the village committee. I was about to drag him over, but when I described your situation, he said it was no big deal. He said I could handle it myself and even told me the solution."

Hearing it wasn’t a big deal, Liu Zi breathed a sigh of relief, his entire body relaxing.

"Quick, tell me! What’s the method?"

As soon as he spoke, he saw Yang Rong pull out a large needle—it was clearly a knitting needle. Liu Zi had a bad feeling. "What are you trying to do?"

"What’s your hurry?" Yang Rong smiled. "Doctor Wang said this is called Genital Retraction. All I have to do is jab this long needle into a major acupoint on your tailbone, and it’ll work immediately. After that, you’ll just need some gradual treatment."

As she spoke, Yang Rong gestured with the long needle.

Hearing that it was meant to jab him, Liu Zi felt his scalp tingle. He quickly sought confirmation, "Are you sure that’s what Wang Jian said?"

Yang Rong nodded. "Of course. What reason would I have to lie? Wang Jian also said you need to stop overindulging and that it’s best to abstain for a while. If this doesn’t work, he’s just next door, and I can go get him. What’s the rush?"

What’s the rush? This damn woman, of course she’s not in a rush! If something happens to my little buddy, my life is over! How could I not be anxious? If he could get up, Liu Zi really would have slapped her.

Yang Rong snickered, flipped Liu Zi over, and warned, "You’d better not move. Otherwise, I can’t guarantee I won’t poke the wrong spot."

Liu Zi was initially reluctant, but he froze at her words and turned his head to watch her. He wanted to say something tough, but one look at Yang Rong’s smile and the needle in her hand made him swallow hard and lose his nerve.

"You... Xiao Li, my dear, we’ve known each other for so long. Please, keep your hand steady. If you poke the wrong place, my life is ruined. I’m counting on you. From now on, I’ll listen to whatever you say..."

Seeing him like this, Yang Rong stopped teasing him and began searching for the spot Wang Jian had described. Just as she found it and was about to insert the needle, Liu Zi became even more cowardly. His hesitation made Yang Rong uncertain as well, and she froze. Finally, she steeled herself, gripped the needle, and jabbed.

With a scream of pain from Liu Zi, the thing popped right out.

"Well, it actually worked." Yang Rong was amazed. The needle hadn’t even broken the skin, and he was already cured. She and Liu Zi had both been terrified at first, and now, just like that, the problem was gone.

Yang Rong slapped Liu Zi on his back and said irritably, "Alright, stop yelling. It didn’t even break the skin, and your little buddy is fine. What are you screaming about?"

Hearing this, Liu Zi looked down and saw that his little guy had indeed returned. The pain vanished instantly, and he started to laugh. "Hey, who would’ve thought? That Wang Jian kid really has some skill. He didn’t even come over, just said a few words to you, and managed to cure me. Impressive!"

Yang Rong rolled her eyes. "Tch. I’m the one who saved you, you know. Not even a thank you."

As soon as he was better, the sight of Yang Rong’s charming figure stirred him. Liu Zi quickly moved closer, wrapping his arms around her and cooing gently, "Yes, yes, it’s all thanks to my darling. I owe it all to you. Thank you, thank you."

While murmuring sweet nothings, Liu Zi’s hands started to wander. He pointed at her clothes. "You went out dressed like this?"

Puzzled, Yang Rong looked down and froze. No wonder Wang Jian’s eyes had kept drifting over. He had almost seen everything. But having seen Wang Jian’s connections and capabilities firsthand since his return, she felt a strange flutter at the thought of him looking at her.

Liu Zi knew her tells all too well. Seeing her expression, he understood immediately. With a lewd smirk, he whispered, "Oh, so you let Wang Jian have a look? Getting some ideas, are we? Don’t tell me you want him to... you know?"

From Yang Rong’s reaction, Liu Zi knew he’d hit the mark. He grew excited and, without a second thought, made his move. The pain from moments ago was completely forgotten. They had been interrupted mid-act, and he hadn’t finished. Now that the feeling was back, he was ready to start over.

But Yang Rong felt differently. With Wang Jian on her mind, the sight of Liu Zi’s eagerness just turned her off. She quickly pushed him away and warned, "Are you crazy? Did you forget what I just told you?"

"You have to abstain, you hear me? Otherwise, if something happens, Wang Jian said he won’t take any responsibility. If you end up castrated, don’t even think about getting back in my bed."

Hearing this, Liu Zi instantly cooled down. But the thought of abstinence was like a death sentence. Still, for the sake of his future happiness, he didn’t dare act recklessly. He scooted to the side and started getting dressed, asking, "Did Wang Jian say anything else?"

"Not really," Yang Rong replied after a moment’s thought. "If you’re worried, you should go to his clinic when he’s working and ask him. Maybe you can get some medicine to help you recover. I’ve heard Chinese medicine is pretty good for this sort of thing. It might even be able to... strengthen you, or something."

At this, Liu Zi threw his sock at her. "Damn it! Am I not strong enough already? What’s there to strengthen?"

"I’m not talking about it anymore. I’m heading home."

Liu Zi had certainly been on an emotional roller coaster today. As soon as he was dressed, he slipped out.

In the house next door, Wang Jian had been home for a while. Since Yang Rong never came back to get him, he figured the problem was solved and didn’t give it another thought. However, he did tell his sister-in-law about it, and the two of them shared a private laugh.

"Do you men really have that... function?" Xu Qian chuckled. "I always thought that was just a joke on TV, that it was too fake."

"Now you know," Wang Jian laughed. "There are all sorts of strange and difficult conditions in this world. This is just the tip of the iceberg."

"Xiao Jian, you mentioned that most men are a little... deficient. You aren’t like that too, are you?" Xu Qian glanced at him, her gaze deliberately dropping lower, clearly implying he had a problem.

Wang Jian couldn’t take that. "Hey, don’t talk nonsense, or I’ll have you for slander! I don’t even have a girlfriend, so how could I be deficient?"

"Oh, is that so?" Xu Qian smiled. Then, on a strange impulse, she suddenly asked, "Do you think your sister-in-law is pretty?"

"Pretty. Of course you’re pretty."

"Well, you’ve been with me for the past few days and haven’t shown any reaction. And you still say you aren’t deficient? If that’s not it, then you must not think I’m pretty."

Xu Qian’s barrage of questions left Wang Jian speechless.

My sister-in-law is acting a bit off today. Her attitude toward me is clearly... how should I put it? It’s much warmer than before, as if the barrier between us has disappeared. I can’t comprehend this change at all. I’m utterly bewildered. Could it be because I was drunk last night? Did something happen that I don’t know about? I definitely remember waking up this morning to find my clothes had been changed by her. That counts as intimate contact, right?

The more Wang Jian thought, the more his imagination ran wild, even picturing what might have happened between them last night. Once his mind started down that path, it was impossible to stop.

The more he fantasized, the more aroused he became. With the object of his fantasies right in front of him, the sensory stimulation was overwhelming.

Xu Qian scoffed. She could see it quite clearly, as they were both dressed in light summer clothes. Why is this kid getting a reaction right now...

Wang Jian swallowed hard. "Sister-in-law... you’re so beautiful. It must be that I’m deficient."

Saying it made no difference. Xu Qian wasn’t blind; she had seen it with her own eyes.

Shooting him a glare, Xu Qian left. She couldn’t stay with him any longer; she was reaching her limit.

"I’m going to take a shower..."

Wang Jian nodded, his eyes following her as she walked away. He had always had a crush on her. As Xu Qian left, she was humming a little tune, clearly in a cheerful mood.
