Vile Evil Hides Under The Veil-Chapter 1920 Dragoness Brides?
"Hehehehe… so you still have limits after all. I… I have to admit… that's… that's a relief."
Marina was overjoyed when she saw Eren's dragonoid form dissolving. The draconic scales that had covered him turned into slime that coated his body, as if he had been dipped in molten glass.
Reen merely covered his body, but she could clearly feel that there wasn't a shred of draconic aura surrounding him anymore.
"I do indeed have my limits," Eren spoke calmly as he looked at Marina. He wiped the blood from the corner of his lips and narrowed his eyes at his opponent before giving her a wicked smile. "But I'm afraid you're not capable of making me reach them, Miss Marina," he said, activating his Unique Skill once again.
[Unique Skill: Unreal Reflection]
Eren's eyes turned hollow the moment his unique ocular Skill was activated. Instead of his usual eyeballs, a void was reflected in his gaze. An ancient array formation appeared behind his back in the form of a cryptic wheel. His emerald green eyes appeared within the formation's array circles, staring down at Marina.
"What… what the…."
Marina was shocked to her core as she looked around. She suddenly found herself in an entirely different environment, one that radiated true suppression. It felt as though a world filled with a crimson sky and a bone-riddled earth had swallowed her whole without her even noticing.
"This… this isn't an illusion… this… this is a dimension-type Skill? No… it's something much more advanced," Marina mumbled to herself, her face turning pale. This was the first time anyone had used such a Skill against her. She could instinctively sense that she was in mortal danger the moment she found herself inside Eren's world.
"You have keen eyes, my lady. But let's not waste time focusing on boring stuff."
Eren said as he gazed at Marina through the giant eyes that had appeared on the ancient array wheel. For some reason, his voice sounded deeper than usual and more distant. It was as if Eren was speaking from a higher position. It was as if he was a god speaking to a mortal.
Due to the peculiar nature of his ocular skill Unreal Reflection, Eren's depleted Spirit Force was recovered almost instantly. Instead of consuming his Spirit Force, the ocular skill began draining the butcher's Origin Force instead.

'Damn it. My Origin Force Points are burning away. I need to settle this soon.'
Eren didn't like the fact that the ocular skill relied on his hard-earned Origin Force. This was precisely why he was so reluctant to use it in his battle against the dragoness. But now that he was forced to reveal his trump card, he decided to end the fight as quickly as possible.
"Miss Marina… you're so beautiful and capable. Why don't you side with me? It would be such a waste if I had to kill you just because we disagreed on how to deal with Raashim's temple," Eren said, stretching his arms as he felt his Spirit Force surging back into him.
Reen also breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't say anything, simply dissolving back into his body. She resumed her role as the dragonoid armor with renewed vigor, which took Marina by surprise once again.
"Brat… you still dare to offer me your ridiculous proposal after everything you've done to me? Don't even think about my surrender!" Marina shouted angrily, glaring at Eren.
Eren wasn't deterred by Marina's response. Even though he knew he had limited time after activating Unreal Reflection, he wasn't eager to kill Marina right away.
After all, this peculiar ocular skill was too powerful. It essentially allowed him to create his own miniature world, isolating both himself and his opponent from the rest of Labh Salem.
Eren no longer feared Marina's counterattacks. Inside the world of Unreal Reflection, he was practically a god. All of his attacks would have a 100 percent hit rate, while all of Marina's attacks would be nullified — or even reflected back at her.
As such, Eren wasn't nearly as desperate as he had been before activating his ocular skill. Despite being short on time, he still decided to see if he could sway Marina to his side instead of killing her outright.
"I know dragons don't trust others easily," Eren said, his expression serious as he locked eyes with Marina. "But I'm being completely serious. I understand — your pride as a dragoness and your Rank stops you from submitting to me as my subordinate. I get it. I also know you won't form an alliance with someone you don't consider your equal."
He smiled faintly before delivering his final proposal.
"So how about a personal connection that is not transactional in nature? Consider it an investment in my potential. I might not be a Sage or a Saint right now, but I'm capable of going even higher. You don't actually think I'll stop at the level of demi-god, do you? Why not join my pantheon… as my wife?"
Eren asked as he looked at Marina with a calm smile on his face. He knew that forming superficial ties with Marina was not possible for various reasons.
Even though he came from Anfang, he chose to follow Labh Salem's marriage traditions as a way to establish a trustworthy partnership. After all, in Labh Salem, there were many ways to ensure that a marriage pact would benefit both parties.
He had already experienced Labh Salem's marriage customs firsthand when one of his pseudo-avatars married a witch.
As much of a free spirit as Eren was, he didn't shy away from offering Marina a marriage contract. Technically speaking, he was married to 24 beautiful Orcinas from Anfang anyway as per the monster traditions.
Not to mention Eren had Kirin as his first wife.
Since he didn't have a human wife so to speak, he didn't find anything odd in proposing to a dragoness. He was practically shameless in the matters of wooing the opposite sex. As long as the person looked beautiful, Eren was down with any race.
Of course, the butcher didn't care that he was merely a century old while Marina had lived for over a thousand years. Since both of them were pursuing Immortality, the age difference was meaningless.
Though the Osan Woods' Butcher no longer had physical eyes in the usual sense due the activated ocular skill, Marina could instinctively feel his gaze lingering on her vulnerable body. It felt as if invisible hands were caressing her exposed skin.
She had a strong sense that it wasn't just her imagination — Eren likely could get handsy with her inside the eerie world he had summoned her into without having to get close to her. After all, she was surrounded by the entirety of Eren's Individuality.
'This brat… no… this man… is unbelievable.'
Marina couldn't help but think to herself as she looked at Eren with a complex expression.
She could never have imagined that she would be asked for her hand in marriage by the very man who had "domestically abused" her.
He had proposed so casually — by someone who was practically a kid in her eyes.

Even though Marina wasn't romantic at heart, she never imagined that the first man to ever propose to her would do it in such a crude way.
As if reading her mind, Eren snapped his fingers, and in the next moment, blood roses bloomed all around Marina. Although these roses had clotted blood for petals, slender white bones for stems, and calcified shells for leaves, for some reason, they looked even more beautiful than the real thing.
"Forgive me for not bringing you proper flowers, Miss Marina. This will have to do for today. I'll make it up to you in the future.
Also, you don't need to worry too much. I'll also propose the pact of marriage to lady Azurea as well so that you two sisters can stay together as twin dragons," he smiled as he offered a polite bow.
All of Marina's rage disappeared for some reason — something she tried hard to hold onto but couldn't.
She was still angry at Eren, but she felt that the source of this anger was no longer tied to their earlier bloodthirsty battle.
'This man's greed knows no bounds. He is coveting my sister as well.'
