Versatile System-Chapter 36: Mr Alex might just kill me
Alex stood up immediately, his expression shifting as he stared deep into Trevor’s eyes.
"Are you threatening me?" he asked in a light, mocking tone.
He took a slow step away from Miss Silvia, putting a bit of distance between them for the moment.
Trevor did not say a word, but he didn’t lower his guard either. He stood his ground, his muscles tense.
"Do you realize I could kill you right here and now without anyone ever finding out?" Alex said calmly. Almost instantly, a bright white light encircled his body.
Trevor understood what was happening; Alex had partially activated his essence just to intimidate him.
Despite the display of power, Trevor did not move an inch. He remained perfectly still.
He knew Alex was the combat teacher. His fighting experience and techniques were far superior; challenging him was practically a death sentence.
But Trevor also knew he could use his words as a weapon.
"Go ahead then," Trevor replied, his voice steady.
"But you should know I’m not alone. My friend has a recording, and he’s waiting at home.
If I don’t show up at school tomorrow, he will know exactly what happened here. If I die, you’re going down with me."
Trevor’s words hit their mark; they were sharp and well-calculated.
A heavy silence filled the office before Alex suddenly broke into uncontrollable laughter.
"And what makes you think I’d believe a little boy like you? Enough games. It’s late; get moving. No one here asked for your help anyway," Alex said dismissively.
He began to lean back toward Miss Silvia, reclaiming his position.
Seeing this, Trevor’s anger boiled over. He immediately activated the Eyes of Hades. He was no longer just posturing; he was prepared for war.
"I don’t care if you think I’m lying. I won’t let you lay a single finger on her today, you pervert," Trevor declared.
His eyes shifted to a deep, glowing crimson, and the very air around him began to take on a bloody red tint.
Alex turned back, noticing the raw seriousness in the boy’s gaze. He couldn’t help but smirk. He calmly adjusted his clothes and walked toward Trevor.
"Trust me, boy, you’re going to regret every second of your stay at this school from this moment on," Alex hissed, the anger finally bubbling up inside him.
Miss Silvia watched them, trembling with fear. She was terrified that Alex might do something horrible to the student who had stepped in to save her.
However, without another word, Alex walked straight out of the office. He looked frustrated but decided to leave for now.
Miss Silvia stood there, her mind a whirlwind of mixed feelings.
Trevor might have saved her today, but he didn’t have the power to stop the others. Deep down, she knew she would still be the one suffering the consequences.
Yet, looking at him, she felt a strange sensation she couldn’t quite name. For the first time in her life, she felt truly cared for.
She felt like someone actually valued her. When she looked into Trevor’s eyes, she didn’t see the usual lust she was used to—she saw genuine concern.
Trevor kept his eyes on the door, watching the spot where Alex had vanished, making sure he wasn’t planning a surprise attack.
"Thank you," Miss Silvia whispered, facing him. Her eyes sparkled with a new kind of fondness.
She was amazed by his courage—the courage to stand up to a man who could have killed him in minutes.
But as Trevor turned toward her, he realized she was still completely exposed. He immediately jerked his head away, blushing.
"I am so sorry!"
Miss Silvia’s face turned bright red as she realized she was still naked. "Oh! I’m so sorry!" she cried out, scrambling to grab her clothes from the floor.
"Come on, stop acting like a simp. I’m almost dressed now," she said playfully a moment later, noticing Trevor was still looking at the wall.
Trevor turned back only when he was sure she was mostly dressed. He rushed over to her, breathing heavily from the adrenaline.
"I hope he didn’t hurt you? Are you okay?" Trevor asked, taking her hands in his.
"No, he didn’t. Thank you so much. You arrived just in time," Miss Silvia said softly. She was deeply touched by how much he seemed to care.
"How long has this been happening? Tell me the truth," Trevor asked.
He looked deep into her eyes, speaking not as a student to a teacher, but as someone who was truly worried about her safety.
Despite her attempt to hide her pain, Trevor’s kindness broke through her defenses.
"It has been about two months now," she admitted, bowing her head in shame. She couldn’t bring herself to look up at her student.
"Two months?!" Trevor repeated, his voice thick with rage.
"I’m taking this to the school management tomorrow. I don’t care about his threats." He was burning with anger.
For a moment, the mission didn’t matter; he just wanted Alex to pay for what he’d done.
"No, please don’t," Miss Silvia interrupted quickly.
After a short silence, she reached out and gently lifted his chin so he would look at her.
"You have done more than enough. I don’t want to put you in any more danger. He is a respected teacher here; accusing him like that will only get you expelled," she said, her palm resting against his cheek.
She finally realized that this boy wasn’t as troublesome as he had seemed on the first day.
"I’d rather take that risk than stand by and watch him hurt someone I admire so much," Trevor replied.
He turned to leave, but before he could move, she grabbed him by the neck and pulled him into a fierce, desperate kiss.
Their lips met in one sudden, hungry motion.
Miss Silvia kissed him with everything she had, pouring years of loneliness and longing into it.
It was as if she were trying to make up for all the time she had spent feeling alone, using the intensity of the kiss to prove to herself that this wasn’t just a dream.
Trevor was shocked for a second, but he quickly melted into the kiss, matching her passion and sharing in her emotions.
In one swift movement, he lifted her up and set her down directly on top of her desk.
