Versatile Superstar: Rise In Hollywood-Chapter 409: Perfect pitch
As Aiden and Eddie were working on the main title song for the album, Aiden was also making other songs on the side. After all, the album needed at least 5-6 songs.
One song with the 'The Boys' and one song with another female artist from the 80s was already decided. Unfortunately, they weren't able to find any artists from the 70s that were willing to work with him. It was also understandable as decades have gone by.
So, that era was eventually scrapped.
Instead, they went with an artist from the 2000s and that was easier. Grey was actually from that decade. His peak was then, so Aiden just contacted him and he agreed to lend his voice to a song.
Though Grey was already planning to retire so, other than lending his voice, he won't be able to promote the song a lot.
That was fine with Aiden as anyway, it wasn't going to be a title track. He was planning to make it more of an indie pop song with a fresh vibe and a small topic that Grey could easily master.
Even after these three songs, he needed three more.
For the three, he first decided to go with a romantic song, kind of like the wedding song that he had made once. That was actually his viral song and he was interested in doing something like that again.
The other two songs were more diverse and thoughtful with one of them based on the fall of the French Kingdom in 1789 with the French revolution. Aiden was a fan of history and because of that, he felt like that point of time was extremely significant to the whole world.
Ideologies, philosophies spreaded after that point.
He wanted to write a song from the perspective of someone who was a noble but someone who empathised with the pain and suffering of the poor.
The last song was something that was hard for him to construct but in the end, he decided to go with a feel good song about two fictional characters meeting to go on an adventure.
In his brain, these songs were forming as stories. Musical stories that needed grand music to elevate them to the next level. Stories that stay with people, even if they are very simple in nature.
For the wedding song, Aiden made a very simple tune that anyone could sing. A melody that couples could sing together and simple yet thoughtful lyrics to go with it.
For a romantic song, he always felt like there doesn't need to be a lot of complications in it. It just needs to be warm.
But for the other songs like the one based on the French revolution, he made a grand tune and used a lot of instruments like an orchestra was playing it. It needed to look like a song that one would hear in a theatre.
At the same time, he only used instruments that were popular around those times to make it look more authentic.
Any modern music would ruin the ambience of the song.
Frankly speaking, it was one of the hardest compositions he had done as there was a lot of research involved but that was the fun part too. After all, a song like this had rarely been done before by him.
There was a challenge to it.
For the last song, Aiden used a daydream of him in his teen years as the backdrop of the story. He had written it down as it was very interesting to him. A man from a desert and a girl from Iceland going on a Globe trotting adventure together to solve a mystery.
Both meeting each other hoping that it would be the start of their story.
It was a very silly story but Aiden had fun writing it down in a song. After all, creativity could come from anywhere and this was the proof of it.
He kept working on these songs day and night as time passed. His skills kept increasing day by day.

"Can you increase the pitch a bit, Aiden?"
Eddie asked as he looked at Aiden inside the booth. They were currently recording the title song that was called 'Dreams'. The recording had been going since the morning and it was going pretty good till now.
That was mostly because of Aiden's special skill.
"Okay."
He said and took a deep breath. Concentrating, he started the verse again.
"I may be down in the dumps but I'm gonna rise..."
"Arise to be someone..."
"Someone with a dream..."
As he sang, his voice took the form of a silver light that was slowly touching the gold mark but there were only hints of it. Some small sparks but nothing else.
He hadn't done enough to reach the next rank yet but he was getting there.
The silver light in the air buzzed as Aiden raised the pitch in his voice. When it got too much to the level that he felt like the light was becoming a bit weak, he lowered the pitch.
Like that, he recorded the verse again and again.
But compared to a typical recording, this was easy as before Eddie could even tell him to do it a bit differently, Aiden would already be doing it.
It was like he was reading his mind.
"Aiden, he knows his voice too well. It's rare to see a singer being so aware and his musical sense is probably one of the best I have seen till now."
Eddie muttered under his breath as he listened. Jackson, who was sitting next to him, smiled and explained to him.
"He's always like this. He would know where he's making a mistake and how to make a verse better. It's easy to work with him because of that."
"It's almost like he has perfect pitch."
Eddie said. He had rarely seen someone with a perfect pitch as it was very rare even in the music industry.
Perfect pitch basically means someone who could hear every note in the air. Every great musician has it. Even Agnas was someone with this ability. Eddie was actually jealous of people who have it as a skill.
Jackson smiled as he heard that. In the past, he had wondered about it too.
"Maybe he does have it. It's hard to explain his skills sometimes. You should ask him later?"
Eddie nodded hearing that and focused more on the recording. They had already recorded the instrumentals and were now going for vocals.
After that, there was also a lot of other work like mixing all of it together and putting it in a way that it makes sense.
As they worked on the recording, the door to the room suddenly opened and Wade walked inside with a look of worry over his face.
Aiden saw him and came out of the recording booth.
"Wade, what happened? You look worried."
Everyone looked at him and Wade nodded his head before revealing wish was going on.
"It's not a matter to worry but I felt like I should inform you about this. The album will be released in two months right?"
"Yes." Aiden nodded his head. That was enough time to record all songs and prepare for the live performances that would come up with it.
He was going to release it just before [Hex] would start promotions. All in all, a busy schedule was coming up for Aiden.
"Then, we would have competition."
"Competition? From who?"
"From Rachel. She's releasing her new album in two months too and I heard a rumour that she wants to clash with you."
Hearing that, Aiden felt a bit surprised.
Singer's album clashing was nothing new. A lot of singers would release songs all over the year. One could even say that tons of songs are released every week all over the world.
But it was different for top singers.
Even if two albums were completely different, fans would deliberately start a competition, then it would start to look like a clash. Obviously, sales would be affected too.
Although most people stream songs, there are still a lot of fans and neutrals who will buy digital copies of the album. So, two big singers releasing at the same time wasn't a good thing.
Many top singers would avoid clashes due to that.
Although Aiden honestly wasn't a top singer now after his hiatus, his rivalry with Rachel had history and history had value.
He could see that she was still having a competitive mindset against him. There could be a variety of reasons for that but Aiden wasn't going to get into it.
Though, one thing was clear if both of them clashed, the internet would again be buzzing.
'Should I avoid it to have some peace?'
He thought in his mind.
