Chapter 1840: Chapter 1841: Understanding One’s Own Faction

For Xiang Yu and his team, five million was just a drop in the bucket, but for Eck, it was astronomical; he’d never seen so much money in his life.

The only reason he was fighting tooth and nail in the COM organization now was to earn more money.

"This brother of mine is quite wealthy, so you better not get any ideas," Tie Zhuzi said, patting Eck on the shoulder.

Realizing his own loss of composure, Eck chuckled and said, "Don’t worry, since he’s your brother, he’s naturally my brother as well."

"Brother Yu, now that I’ve come out, let’s get out of here quickly," Sun Bo said with some concern.

"Not doing business anymore?" Xiang Yu said with a smile.

Sun Bo felt a bit embarrassed; he had hoped to make some war profits amidst the chaos here, but the level of chaos far exceeded his imagination.

Even though he had made a lot of money, his life was also at risk, so he decided to leave first.

"This isn’t the place for business," Sun Bo said.

Xiang Yu nodded and said, "You should leave now, head straight to the airport."

Sun Bo paused for a moment and asked, "What about you guys?"

"We’ve got some matters to handle here," Xiang Yu said, standing up.

"Brother Yu, let’s go together; the chaos here is far beyond our expectations," Sun Bo said with great concern.

He was increasingly unable to understand Xiang Yu. They had money and manpower, so why come to this chaotic place?

"Chaotic places are the most thrilling," Xiang Yu chuckled as he pulled Sun Bo up.

Tie Zhuzi went directly outside to drive, and Eck sat in the car, looking at Tie Zhuzi with curiosity, asking, "Who exactly are you people?"

Eck wasn’t a fool; he could see that Xiang Yu was not ordinary, but that he was content to be a mere soldier in COM must mean he had other motives.

"Who do you think we are?" Tie Zhuzi said with a wicked smile.

Just then, Xiang Yu and the others came up, and Eck closed his mouth.

The five of them went directly to the airport, where Sun Bo bought several tickets to return home, though he still looked worried.

"Brother Yu, let me say..."

Sun Bo wanted to say something else, but Xiang Yu stopped him with a gesture and said, "Let’s not expand the business here for the time being. Also, Liu Yuhang also wants to come over. Contact him once you get back and let him drop the idea."

"What, he wants to come too?" Sun Bo said, a bit surprised. "Don’t worry, Brother Yu; I won’t let him come over for now."

Xiang Yu nodded and said, "It’s about time, let’s get ready to board."

Sun Bo did not linger, grabbed the tickets, and headed through security.

Watching Sun Bo enter the airport, Xiang Yu felt relieved. As long as Sun Bo was here, he would always have something on his mind.

The four of them got back into the car, with Eck sitting up front, looking as if he wanted to speak but holding back several times.

Tie Zhuzi couldn’t stand it anymore and said anxiously, "If you have something to say, just say it. Why are you hesitating like that? You’re making me anxious."

Eck nodded and finally asked, "Xiang Yu, be honest with me, why did you guys join COM?"

"Why did you join COM?" Xiang Yu replied with a question.

"To survive," Eck said with a sigh before continuing, "Right now, our country is in such chaos, with various factions occupying every part, and even some foreign forces. I originally wanted to join the military."

At this, Eck gave a self-deprecating smile and said, "But because of my background, I wasn’t even qualified."

Xiang Yu could see Eck’s frustration and passion. He patted Eck on the shoulder and said openly, "We originally came here with Xia Cheng."

"Him?" Eck looked at Xiang Yu in disbelief, obviously skeptical.

To him, Xia Cheng was just a coward, a useless person, while Xiang Yu was a real character.

"Xia Cheng was a regiment commander on the other side, also quite a character..." Xiang Yu briefly explained Xia Cheng’s situation and continued, "Commander Cao sent him over, and I thought even if he wasn’t a regiment commander here, he should at least be in a leadership position. But unexpectedly, he ended up just as a soldier."

Eck frowned at this and asked, "Who’s this Commander Cao?"

"A guy who likes to put on airs," Tie Zhuzi interjected.

Xiang Yu shook his head with a smile and said, "Commander Cao is the supreme commander of your COM group."

Eck stood there, slack-jawed, and said, "How do you know? I’ve been with them for years and never met our leader, nor have I ever heard who it is."

"Do you know how powerful your group is?" Xiang Yu asked with a smile.

Eck shook his head and said, "Honestly, I really don’t know. I joined COM to survive, and I’m just a grunt soldier. I’ve never cared about what goes on above."

Xiang Yu leaned against the back of the car and sighed, "I actually don’t know how big the COM organization is either, but I can be certain of one thing, it’s probably not much less than Wolf Fang."

"Wolf Fang? You mean that infamous international mercenary group?" Eck said in disbelief.

Despite having been in COM for a long time, he never knew how large the organization was.

"You must be joking," Eck said, frozen in place.

"You’ll find out eventually," Xiang Yu said, not elaborating further, patting Eck to suggest he accept this reality.

"Brother Yu, now that we’ve rescued Sun Bo, let’s not go back to COM; it’s pointless," Tie Zhuzi said.

"We don’t have anywhere else to go for now, let’s head back to the base. Besides, the matter with the Blood Alliance isn’t over yet," Xiang Yu said with a cold smile.

Now that Sun Bo had returned home, Xiang Yu had nothing to be concerned about. As the saying goes, those with nothing to lose have nothing to fear. He wanted to let the Blood Alliance know that some people were untouchable for them."

Eck was getting fired up, feeling a surge of motivation by being with Xiang Yu.

"Are you planning to take on the Blood Alliance?" Eck turned to Xiang Yu and asked.

Tie Zhuzi saw his excitement and patted Eck on the shoulder, "Hey, don’t get involved with us. You belong to an organization, and it wouldn’t be good if the Blood Alliance retaliates."

"I’m not afraid of them. You just got here and aren’t afraid, so why should I be? Besides, Xiang Yu just said it, our COM is a huge force," Eck said confidently.

"So you’re planning to join us?" Xiang Yu asked.

"Of course," Eck said firmly, "Once I get back, I’ll gather our members to discuss it, and we’ll do something big."

Eck spoke with enthusiasm, gesticulating as if they were about to battle the Blood Alliance.

Xiang Yu just shook his head with a smile and said, "When you get back, don’t mention this to anyone. I trust you, but that doesn’t mean I trust everyone else."
