"How did you bribe the top secretary?" Xiang Yu looked at Rolaff doubtfully.
Rolaff confidently raised his head and said, "You don’t need to worry about that, I have my ways."
Xiang Yu nodded and didn’t press further on this issue, then said, "How confident are you in getting the person out?"
"As long as you can safely transport me to the south, I am fully confident." Rolaff said.
"First, get the person out, and then I will naturally escort you there." Xiang Yu said resolutely.
If Rolaff were sent to the south now, Wu Jing would probably be dead by then.

Before Rolaff could finish his sentence, Xiang Yu delivered a chop to his neck, and Rolaff’s vision went dark as he passed out.
"Back to the base." Xiang Yu said and directly got into the car.
Tie Zhuzi drove around the city, ensuring no one was following before heading towards the direction of Big Tree Mountain.

Xiang Yu returned to his office at the base and instructed Tie Zhuzi to wake Rolaff up.

Seeing Rolaff awake, Xiang Yu threw a phone in front of him and said, "Start rescuing now."
Rolaff looked around and became increasingly surprised, he couldn’t help but ask, "Is this your base?"
"It’s unnecessary for you to know." Xiang Yu replied.
Rolaff looked around with his mouth half-open, then asked Xiang Yu, "Who exactly are you? What’s your purpose in coming to Xiaoba?"
"Don’t worry, I won’t threaten your country’s politics." After speaking, Xiang Yu coldly stared at Rolaff and asked, "How long are you going to keep rambling?"
Ultimately Rolaff sighed and said, "Fine, I’ll trust you this time. Once I rescue your brother, you really must escort me to the south."
Seeing Xiang Yu nod, Rolaff then picked up the phone and made a call.
The call rang several times, and someone finally picked up on the other side, but no one spoke.
"Commander Cao, it’s me." Rolaff said directly.
When Xiang Yu heard the name, his whole body shivered. This name was too familiar to him; without Commander Cao, Xiang Yu wouldn’t have gotten to where he is now.
"It must be a coincidence." Xiang Yu thought, exhaling quietly.
"You’re still alive." Commander Cao chuckled.
Rolaff didn’t want to waste words and directly said, "Commander Cao, I have a person who was captured, I hope you can help rescue them."
Commander Cao laughed happily after hearing this and said, "You’re now a wanted criminal, without any power. Why should I help you? What benefit can you bring me?"
Rolaff’s face turned red upon hearing this, he glanced at Xiang Yu before speaking softly, "Even though I’ve lost power, I still have allied forces in the south. It’s not over yet; no one can say Ailock is sure to win."
"Are you saying you still have a chance to turn the tables?" Commander Cao asked.
"Of course, I have a hundred thousand allied troops hidden in the south; once I return, finding an opportunity to strike back isn’t impossible." Rolaff said confidently.
Commander Cao was silent for a moment before asking, "How important is this person?"
"This person is very important to me; without him by my side, I can’t return to the south. You could say he’s vital to my fate." Rolaff didn’t specify Wu Jing’s identity but said the person was crucial to him.
"Okay, I’ll take on this task. If you really succeed, don’t forget the conditions you promised me." Commander Cao said.
Rolaff relaxed after hearing Commander Cao agree and whispered, "Don’t worry, once I take down Ailock, I’ll agree to all conditions you’ve mentioned."
"It’s settled, I’ll rescue your person within three days—send over his information first." Commander Cao said before hanging up the phone.
Rolaff confidently handed the phone to Xiang Yu and said, "Just wait, within three days your brother will be out."
Rolaff finished speaking and saw no change in Xiang Yu’s expression, prompting him to ask, "Are you suspicious of me?"
"Who is the Commander Cao you mentioned earlier?" Xiang Yu asked suspiciously.
Seeing Xiang Yu’s demeanor, Rolaff frowned slightly and replied, "I’ve never met this person; I just know he’s powerful and has never failed any tasks entrusted to him."
"What does he want in return?" Xiang Yu asked.
Despite his reluctance, Xiang Yu was beginning to be convinced that Commander Cao was indeed his former leader.
"That’s not necessary for you to know. I only need to rescue your brother; you’re responsible for getting me safely back to the south." Rolaff said.
Xiang Yu didn’t continue questioning, instead, he looked at Tie Zhuzi and signaled for him to remove Rolaff.
Tie Zhuzi approached, grabbed Rolaff, and walked him outside.
"Hey, we can talk things through, I’ll do whatever you tell me to, but please don’t hit me." Rolaff said fearfully.
All along this journey, Rolaff had been in a state of unconsciousness; now seeing Tie Zhuzi approach made him afraid.
"If we don’t knock you out, you won’t behave." Tie Zhuzi said before delivering a punch to Rolaff’s back.
Rolaff’s vision went dark once again as he passed out.
Xiang Yu sat quietly in his room and then made a phone call.
Jackson had installed security measures at the base, allowing any phone signals from here to be masked to prevent anyone from using the signal to track this location.
After five rings, the other side picked up.
"Have you gotten any leads?" The person on the other end from China directly asked.
"Not yet." Xiang Yu replied directly.
"Time is tight, you need to hurry. The military parade that day will undoubtedly attract global attention; we can’t afford to lose face then." The contact said sternly.

"You’re always insightful, no matter the situation." Xiang Yu teased.
"Spare me the flattery; time is precious, get to the point." The contact said.
Xiang Yu considered before speaking, "Chief, keep an eye on Xiaoba’s number one. He’s very cunning, not as simple as he seems."
The contact paused in surprise before chuckling, "I know exactly who he is; do you have any ideas..."
