Sitting in the car,Melissa felt really uneasy.She thought that Murray should know about it,so she called him.

They both decided to meet at his company.

The company was growing better and prosperous.Since the two companies merged into one,it looked more complete.

The receptionist greeted Melissa as soon as she saw her enter and she just nodded and went upstairs.

When she was in front of Murray’s office,she saw that the door was locked.She planned to wait for him to finish so that he wouldn’t be disturbed but Murray’s secretary came up from behind and opened the door as soon as he saw her."Mr.Murray has told me that you can go directly inside."

Melissa walked in and saw Murray standing in front of his desk,frowning at the documents in his hands.

Melissa sat opposite him,hesitating.

"What’s wrong?Has something happened?"Melissa asked worriedly.In the past few days,Melissa was busy with other things and she hadn’t returned to the company.

"Nothing.Everything is going fine in the company."Murray assured her and then asked,"But you looked worried.What’s wrong?"

"I suspect that your mother had drug deal with the gangsters.Today she asked me out and drugged my coffee.I asked someone to find out about this drug,and it was found that it is an extremely poisonous one."Melissa briefly told Murray what had happened.

Murray slammed the table furiously."She’s crazy."

"I’ve found out that all the contacts are related to the gangs,but I still can’t find out who is helping her to contact them."

According to her investigation,it was impossible for Mrs.Gibson to find the gangsters so easily and gain their trust,let alone get such precious drugs.

There was no doubt that many people were helping and many people were involved in it.

"What are we going to do now?We don’t have enough evidence to prove that the matter of Mr.Marc is related to your mother."Melissa asked anxiously.They couldn’t just wait and see what she does next.They should stop her in time.

Murray took out his phone and dailed Sarah’s number.He called her directly to meet him.Before Sarah could figure out what he was talking about,she was called to meet him.

"Let’s meet her together."

Both of them went to the cafe together to meet her.Murray cleared up the cafe and they both waited for her to arrive.

After a while,Mrs Gibson also appeared in the cafe.Compared to last time,her dress was much simpler.Perhaps she wanted to make Murray sympathize with her more.

The three of them sat face to face,and even the atmosphere was awkward and tensed.

Murray put the information he had found on the table and questioned,"why did you did all these?What do you exactly want?You didn’t even spare such an old man like Me.Marc in this game!"

Mrs.Gibson picked up the files and looked at the photos with a confused look.She shook her hea and said,"no,it’s impossible.I’ve never let anyone harm Mr.Marc,and neither will I do such things to harm him."

Melissa immediately added,"So you mean you didn’t want to harm Mr.Marc but harm me.Like you did earlier in the cafe?"

Mrs.Gibson’s face changed dramatically."What are you talking about?Don’t try to accuse me of something that I’ve never done."

"Stop your pretence,mom!!I’ve investigated the whole thing.You delibrately stimulated Granpa that is why he had heart attack.You bribed spammers to spread the news that Mr.Marc wanted to cut off relationship with me so that Melissa will hate Granpa and we couldn’t be together!"Murray didn’t hesitate before exposing the truth naked. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Melissa was surprised when Murray said that.She was unaware about that.

She had investigated so much before,but sh never heard of this news.

Melissa looked at him in surprise."Where did you find it out?Why didn’t I know anything about it?"

Mrs.Gibson asked nonchalantly,"since you have known it,why bother asking me?"

Murray let out a long sigh and said,"the reason I’m here today is to ask why you did all these!What exactly do you want to stoop this low?"

That was what Murray couldn’t figure out.

Mrs.Gibison was momentarily taken aback by Murray’s fierceness.She was her biological mother.Why was he attacking her like that?

Mrs.Gibson knew that she couldn’t hide anything from him,so she didn’t want to hide anymore and explained briefly in a sentence.

"What is your mission?Or do you just want to kill everyone around you for power and money?"Murray asked again.

"What did you say?"Murray asked again unable to believe.

"I said you are not my biological son.My child died the moment he was born.I adopted you and brought you up but Mr.Marc objected it time and again.But I didn’t listen to him!Why would I?After all,my child died because of him and he knows that better than anyone else!"Mrs.Gibison said bitterly.

Murray looked at the woman whom he had called mother for so many years,but he didn’t expect that she wasn’t her biological mother.Everything that he felt originally belonged to him now had become fake.

He couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the test reports of their paternity test.There was no resembles at all.

It clearly showed that they were not related by blood.

"Don’t think that I will believe you just because you forged a test report."Melissa couldn’t believe it.She felt that all these was her another plot to deceive them.

Mrs.Gibson snorted and said again,"I don’t have anything to lie to you,let alone anything that I want to lie to you.These are all true.You can go any hospital to test them."

"Murray.."Mrs.Gibison called sincerely but his head was lowered,staring at the test reports.

At last,his eyes fell on the words,"they are not related by blood."
