Melissa arranged everything,hoping to get a good result.At least,she didn’t have to wait long.

They had been living in the old house these days,and it seemed that there were not so many complicated things.

Mr.Marc went out to bask in the sun as it was his usual habit.

For so many days,Mr Marc was calm these days and didn’t speak much.Firstly,maybe because they didn’t have anything to talk about or secondly,because he didn’t want to.

But he seemed to be a different person comparing to the arrogant and domineering man before.

"Grandpa,I still have some work to handle in the company.I may stay in the company for the next two days.You should be careful."

Melissa cast a glance at Mr.Marc and he just nodded.She left without saying anything more.

After she went back to the company,she quickly sorted out all the clues.When she was lost deeply,Remita quietly walked inside her office.There was no sound when she entered,so Melissa didn’t notice at all until she cleared her throat.

Melissa looked up and smiled."It’s so nice to see you."

After all,Renita was on leave to rest these days.

"You can’t handle everything by yourself in the company.After all,there are so many things and they are so complicated.If I leave it all to you,I’m afraid you will start crying in less than two days."Renita said with a faint smile.

Melissa didn’t take her words seriously.Instead she said,"What if I’m the only one left in the company?I have to do it no matter what."

The two of them fell into silence.After all,this could happen.

Melissa quickly changed the topic."I’m just kidding.Don’t mind."

Renita put some files on the table and said,"I think that’s all you need now." 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Melissa glanced at them and found that the information above proved that some problems had not been solved when she investigated Sarah recently.

"Did you do all these?"She had never mentioned anything about her family to Renita,nor would she ask him for help.She didn’t expect her to do so much for her without even letting her know.

Melissa was so moved that her eyes had turned red."Maybe you’re the only one in this world who is willing to help me selflessly in everything."

Perhaps only she knew how difficult it was to run a company by herself.

Renita rolled her eyes and said,"According to the investigation results,Mrs.Gibson might have done the things that you assume,and the person behind it might have something to do with my aunt.In addition,I found the trace of Claire Gibson.She might still be alive."

Back then,Claire and Murray fell into the sea together.Murray was alive,and so was Claire.

Melissa was not surprised at this.

"I’d like to see who is behind all this."

Melissa was well aware that it wasn’t that simple.Besides,there must be a well planned plot behind it.As for what it was,she couldn’t even figure it out herself.

"Mrs.Gibson met a person this noon.They are going to an abandoned factory in the suburbs.Why don’t you follow them and have a look?"She would have followed them herself but she didn’t want to get involved in her family matters.

"Is the news reliable?"Melissa asked..

"Trust me.My informations are reliable."

Indeed,Melissa believed her.After tidying herself,she immediately went to the garage and drove an unremarkable sports car straight to the factory.

When she was near the location,she parked the car far from the abandonment factory and decided to sneak into the factory so that no one will notice her.

Although it was dangerous,she was willing to do it,for Murray,for their family and future.

Melissa found a corner to hide herself and waited quietly for Mrs.Gibison to arrive.

About half an hour later,when still no one arrived at the place,Melissa called Renita but before she could pick up,she hung up the call hurriedly.

She saw Mrs.Gibison walking towards the abandoned factory,followed by a man with tattoos all over his body.She wondered if there was a place where there was no tattoo in his body.

The man looked like a member of a gang,and everything that they have found out about Mrs.Gibison’s involvement with the gangsters were true.

Mrs.Gibson was indeed involved with the gangsters.

But how did she get in touch with these people?It was impossible for any ordinary person like her to get in touch with them.Someone might have been helping her!

Melissa waited quietly for the two to walk in.Once they were inside,Melissa leaped closer to hear the conversations inside.

"I’ve fulfilled all your demand.I hope what I asked for is ready!"

It was Mrs.Gibison’s voice.

The man took out a small white powder from his bag and put it in front of Mrs.Gibison and said,"It’s very powerful powder.A little amount is enough to kill a person,so you have to be more careful when you use it,"

Melissa didn’t know what it was,let alone what Mrs.Gibson was going to do with it.She guessed that it really had something to do with her.

Maybe it was just her wild guess.

"Don’t worry.I just want it for once.Once is enough for me to kill the person and set fire so that no one will know what happened."Mrs.Gibson assured the man.She put the white powder inside her bag and she was sent out by the tattooed man.

Just when Melissa thought she could leave now and was about to walk out,she saw Mrs Gibson return back once the tattooed man left.

Frightened,Melissa quickly hid inside a small room there,only to see Mrs Gibson walk to a small room beside hers.She took out a key from her bag and opened the door.

Melissa followed her quietly and hid behind a thick pillar.

When she looked inside the window,it was all dark there but her eyes could still make a figure that was quite familiar.Melissa rubbed her eyes and was shocked to see the person inside was Claire.Wasn’t she at mental hospital?

She hasn’t recovered yet,has she?How could she be discharged from hospital and be here?

Besides,how and why was she with Mrs.Gibison?

"Go to the hospital again later.Remember to pretend to be insane.Don’t let them find out."Mrs.Gibson instructed Claire clearly.

Melissa was shocked to hear that.It turned out that what she saw at the hospital was fake and they disguised themselves to deceive her!

She sympathised her and quietly forgave her but it was all their plot?

Claire Gibson cleaned the weeds on her head and said,"don’t worry.I’m good at it."

"Be careful not to let others find out,or everything will fall apart.Whatever we did till now will be in vain."
