Unscented-Chapter 1022 - 964 lose the direction
When Harley fell asleep in his apartment he didn’t know that he became a hot topic in the trending list of social media.
Everyone was busy talking about the incident that happened the night before.The news spread like a fire.
The company was already in trouble and now they were completely disappointed with Harley.They not only canceled the contract with him but also disregarded him as an entertainer.
Jasmine had no choice and she couldn’t back him anymore.She was his manager since he entered the entertainment industry and she couldn’t see him getting ruined.
At dusk.
Harley woke up and was looking outside the window.The sky was getting a deeper shade of gray.It was almost night.At that moment his stomach growled.
"I am hungry,"he whispered.
Next moment he got up from the bed and took a shower.He was getting ready to go out for an ordinary dinner.
However,before he could go out,there was a sharp and sudden knock on his door. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
He frowned as nobody knew that he was there.
"Who is it?"
He knelt thinking and the door knocked again.
"Harley,open the door!I know you are here.Stop hiding from me."
Hearing Jasmine’s voice,Harley took a sigh of relief.
"Coming,"His pitch was high and he slowly went to open the door.
For obvious reasons he knew that Jasmine wasn’t in a good mood.But when he opened the door he found her furious.
Fire was blazing through her eyes.
People passing by were giving a sharp look at them.As they didn’t know the exact situation,they thought that the two had a huge fight.
""Why did you take so much time to open the door?In Fact why did you open the door?"
Jasmine glared at Harley and pushed him into the apartment.
"Firstly,I was coming and it took a minute.And secondly So do you want me to pretend like I am not here?"Harley didn’t know what Jasmine was implying to say.He always thought that Jasmine was a bit different from anyone else.Her thought process was refreshing too.
Undoubtedly Harley understood that Jasmine being in late twenties with no relationship experience was probably hot tempered and nervous in many things.
But she was his first manager and she gave her heart and soul in managing him.Undoubtedly he appreciated her help and dedication over the years.
"Jasmine,why are you so angry?"He finally asked her.
She didn’t reply,and kept sitting on the couch with her legs crossed.She was disappointed and as she was so stressed she lit the cigarette.
Seeing that Harley stood in front of her.
"What do you think?Has something happened in your apartment?"
Jasmine rolled her eyes and thought that Harley was playing dumb.
Although she was aware about Harley’s mood swings.But she didn’t have any idea that he came back to his appointment early in the morning and fell asleep.
He didn’t switch on any lights as when he woke up it was already sunset and he was ready to go out for dinner later.
"Everything is okay..."
Harley scratched his hair inexplicably and guessed that he might be in the hot searches for all the wrong reasons again which annoyed Jasmine.
"Can you show me your cell phone?"Jasmine sarcastically asked him.Not to annoy her anymore,Harley brought his phone from his bedroom obediently.
There were several notifications in the notice column,two of which were about the scandal that he created chaos outside someone’s house in the middle of the night and was taken away by the police.
Harley didn’t want to read the specific content.He gulped his breath and grinned,"Media has a habit of extragrating things.Moreover,I can’t give explanations as they are going to believe the other side of the story.So it’s of no use."
Listening to his casual and unbothered self,Jasmine fumed with anger.She spatted and shook her head negatively.
"You are right.Everyone is just making up things.What do you want me to do now?"She sarcastically asked,"Should I apologize to you on their behalf now?"
Although Jasmine was so mad at Harley.But she cared about him a lot.Her emotional connection with him was the reason behind her vigorous reaction.
When Harley kept standing there with his head down.She shook her head,she put down the cigarette and stood up.
"Just stay in the apartment and don’t go anywhere.I will be back,precisely in half an hour."She whispered.
"Jasmine,where are you going?"Harley instantly asked her.
He was confused.He was getting all sorts of thoughts,one of them was the horrible guess that he thought Jasmine wanted to put him under house arrest.
But Jasmine didn’t respond.She walked out of the room in a hurry.
It was said that half an hour and a minute were not bad,so that Harley suspected that he came back on foot.
When half an hour passed,Harley started getting impatient.He suspected that she wasn’t going to come back.He sighed and started moving out.
The moment he opened the door,he saw Jasmine standing there,she was holding a plastic bag in her left hand,which contained all kinds of food that is more likely to be accompanied with drinking,and a whole box of beer in her right hand.
"So you were planning to get me drunk tonight?"Harley raised his left eyebrow at her.
"Whatever!By the way,we are going to drink to the fullest tonight.Anyways you are just a loser."Jasmine pushed him inside again.
Despite her harsh words,Harley still didn’t drive her away.
"By the way I wasn’t in a good mood either.So this is going to help."Harley tried to lighten up the mood.
At midnight,the two of them were completely drunk.One was lying horizontally on the bed,and the other was sleeping soundly on the couch.In Morning
The light of dawn seeped into Harley’s room.The sun poured through his window.He rubbed his bleary eyes.His other hand instantly held his head.
"Ah!!"He whined in pain and remembered what Jasmine told him last night.
At this moment,he was completely awake and realized that he really couldn’t continue to live his life like that.
No matter what would happen in the future,he had to stand up,put on a smile and work hard to live a happy future with Nina and his daughter.He stood up and walked outside of his room.His eyes landed on Jasmine who was still snoring on the couch.
"Jasmine,why don’t you sleep in my bed?"
He called her twice but didn’t wake her up.So he had to tuck her in.
Then he walked into the study and turned on the computer that he hadn’t touched for a long time.
According to the things that are happening around him,he couldn’t only rely on being an actor which his mother always wished for.
Without diverting his mind anywhere else Harley decided to write a script while turning all his thoughts into words.
At the same time,Tom bought two steamed buns from a stall and was about to eat them as he decided to take part time jobs to make more money.
Meanwhile his mind was filled with the thoughts of Nina as he hadn’t seen her for two or three days."I will pay her a visit soon."He told himself.
However,when he was waiting for the bus stop,suddenly he felt someone resting their hand on his shoulder.
"Tom,are you looking for a job?"The chirpy voice came from his back side.
Beads of sweat covered his forehead.His heart was pounding with the highest speed.
As it was none other than Lily.
He swallowed his breath as he was inexplicably nervous when he heard her voice.
"I can’t run away from this situation."He thought.
So he turned around and saw Lily smiling gently,as if nothing had happened between the two.
There was tension in the air and he thought to break the silence.
"Lily,are you going to work?"
He asked her in an indifferent tone,with embarrassment on his face.
"Yes!I am waiting for the bus.Just like you."She added the last word in a very slow tone.
"I see."Tom gave her an awkward smile.
Meanwhile Lily nodded with a smile.
When he closed his eyes tightly,the flashes of yesterday started coming in front of his eyes.His life went upside down when he woke up from the hangover,and saw Lily sleeping beside his pillow.
Noticing that both of them naked,Tom was stunned.
It took him a few minutes to realize that the two of them were completely drunk when they came out of the bar the previous night and had sex in a daze.
There was blood on the sheet.Tom knew what it meant.
Lily didn’t mind.She said that everyone would have a first time,so she didn’t regret giving it to him.
But somewhere deep inside his heart,he was regretting it.Why she was behaving so casually couldn’t make any sense to Tom but he was feeling guilty.
In the end,Tom only said,"I’ll take the responsibility.I am accountable for everything that happened between us."
Then he left the house rented by Lily in a hurry.
Now when the two of them met again,Tom still couldn’t face her.
However,Lily was calm.When she saw that Tim was still silent and didn’t say a word,she stood beside him and asked shyly,"Tom,I didn’t ask you yesterday.But I am a little curious about how you are going to take responsibility for your yesterday’s actions?"
Although as a woman,it was embarrassing to ask him such a thing but she couldn’t stop herself.She was desperately waiting for the moment when he would accept her and take her as his own responsibility.
There were many people coming and going at the bus stop.Tom stood still.
He didn’t know how to answer Lily’s question.
"Tom?"
She shook his arm gently and already started behaving like a couple.
Tom wanted to say that he was ready to pay her for that night but to be honest he didn’t have money then.Even if he said it out,it would be an empty promise.
After a moment of silence,Tom said gently,"I’ll try to make more money to make up for what I did that night."
Just then,the bus for which he was waiting for a while stopped in front of them.Without waiting he followed the crowd and moved into the bus while leaving Lily at the bus stop alone.
It turned out that he wanted to pay for that night.
Lily’s face froze.She hated Nina.She hated to take him away from that she lost her virginity,but unfortunately she still couldn’t get Tom.
