Chapter 77: Chapter 77 Full of Domineering Presence

Lin Kuang had never expected Lin Guo’er to be so bold—she actually grabbed him *there*! Thankfully, he dodged quickly; otherwise, he would have been taken advantage of.

Of course, to be honest, Lin Kuang was still a little intimidated by this brazen woman. If she really pulls something, how would I even handle the fallout?

"What’s wrong, little brother? Aren’t you all fired up? I was just about to help you."

Seeing Lin Kuang recoil, Lin Guo’er giggled and eyed him seductively, her pink tongue lightly licking her lips—a sight that was tempting to the extreme.

Lin Kuang had been ready to let the matter drop, but seeing her act like this sparked his pride. If I don’t show some masculine pride now, it’ll be too humiliating!

With that thought, he shot Lin Guo’er a fierce look. "If you have the guts, follow me to the restroom. We’ll see how I deal with you then!"

Lin Kuang spoke menacingly before turning and walking away. He didn’t know if she would follow. If she did, he wouldn’t mind dealing with her properly. If she didn’t, it was no big deal; at least he wouldn’t lose face.

However, Lin Kuang had barely left the room when Lin Guo’er followed him, a broad smile on her face. "Little Kuang, wait for me. What can you possibly do in there all by yourself?" Lin Guo’er’s teasing voice sounded from behind him.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang froze for a moment as a surge of heat rushed through him. She actually came! Fine then, let’s see who’s really afraid of whom! He silently psyched himself up.

"Alright, Guo’er, I’ll wait for you," Lin Kuang said with a smile as he turned around. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Lin Guo’er smiled back at him, showing no fear. She looped her arm through his and started walking toward the restroom, seeming even more eager than he was.

Lin Kuang was baffled. Does she really want to do *that* with me in the restroom? This is insane!

Just then, a group of about a dozen people approached them. These were not ordinary thugs; they looked like figures from the East Sea underworld, and every one of them appeared capable. Lin Kuang paid them no mind at first, but when they blocked his path, he finally looked up.

"Get out of the way," Lin Kuang said indifferently, his brow slightly furrowed.

"Hmph, you must be Lin Kuang, right?" the leader of the group asked, his voice somewhat deep.

"I am. Are you here for me?" Lin Kuang asked, his gaze and tone turning even colder.

"That’s right, kid. You’ve got some nerve. I’ll give you two choices. First, you come with us quietly. That saves us some effort, and you spare yourself some pain. Second, we beat you to a pulp and drag you away. Make your choice." The leader spoke casually, completely confident he had Lin Kuang cornered.

Lin Kuang shrugged habitually, raising his right hand to guide Lin Guo’er behind him. "I’m not in the habit of choosing. I prefer to give others a choice. So I’ll give you two. First, get the hell out of here. Second, I’ll beat you to a pulp and you can crawl out," Lin Kuang stated, his indifferent tone now laced with ice.

"Haha! What did this kid just say? That he’s going to throw us out? Are you guys hearing this? Is he sick in the head? Completely delusional?" the leader sneered, making no attempt to hide his scorn.

"Heh heh, boss, don’t you have some medicine on you? Give him a couple of pills," one of the lackeys added with a grin.

At that, the entire group burst into laughter, completely dismissing Lin Kuang.

Lin Kuang shrugged again. Facing more than a dozen men by himself, his expression was remarkably relaxed.

Behind him, Lin Guo’er started to worry. There were so many of them, and they were all powerfully built. Can Lin Kuang really be a match for them?

As she was thinking this, Lin Kuang spoke again. "It seems you’ve chosen the second option. Very well. I’ll grant your wish!"

The moment the words left his lips, Lin Kuang moved. His actions were a perfect contradiction: completely still one moment, then swift as a fleeing rabbit the next.

This was Lin Kuang!

A ferocious punch smashed directly into the leader’s chin.

BANG!

The man was knocked unconscious instantly, the sheer force of the blow sending him flying backward. He crashed into the four or five men behind him, who all tumbled to the ground, caught completely off guard.

Seeing this, the group’s other leader stared blankly, not having expected Lin Kuang to be so formidable. Before he could even react, Lin Kuang struck again.

An identical punch slammed into the second leader’s chin.

BANG!

This man was also sent flying. The thugs behind him, having learned from the first exchange, quickly scattered. The poor man landed hard on the marble floor.

"Motherfucker! Boys, get him! Get him!"

Unwilling to concede, one of them pulled out a palm-sized switchblade and lunged, stabbing toward Lin Kuang’s abdomen. The strike was fast, precise, steady, and ruthless—far beyond the skill of an ordinary street punk. This was the work of a seasoned enforcer. Seeing their chance, the remaining ten or so men swarmed him in a flurry of punches and kicks.

Faced with the assault, Lin Kuang remained perfectly calm.

He caught the knife-wielding thug’s wrist, squeezed, and snapped it.

A scream instantly tore through the air, sounding like a pig being slaughtered.

He kicked the screaming man away as his own fists became a blur. He blocked three incoming arms simultaneously, and his right leg shot out. He delivered three lightning-fast kicks, each one landing squarely on a man’s shinbone. Even a light tap to the shin is excruciating, let alone a full-force kick from Lin Kuang. The three men howled in agony, clutching their legs as they collapsed, unable to stand.

As the last six or seven men charged, Lin Kuang’s figure suddenly vanished before their eyes. They froze mid-attack, looking around in bafflement, completely unable to process what had happened.

In the instant they were stunned, Lin Kuang reappeared behind them. He lashed out with his feet, delivering a rapid series of brutal kicks to their calves. The pain was unbearable. They screamed and dropped to their knees, clutching their legs and rolling on the floor, their faces contorted in agony.

Having easily dealt with more than a dozen men, Lin Kuang dusted off his hands and casually hauled one of them up by his collar.

"Speak. Who sent you? Tell me the truth, or I swear I’ll make you understand what it means to wish you were dead," Lin Kuang said, his voice as cold as the depths of hell.

The chilling tone made the man shiver uncontrollably, his eyes wide with terror.
