Unrivaled Soldier in the City-Chapter 350: Cleared Them All Out
Upon hearing this, Kang Cheng, Song Tao, and the others nodded. To be honest, after being busy for half the night, they were indeed quite hungry.
After they all left, Lin Kuang dialed Zhang Guodong's home number. Reaching him, he immediately recounted everything.
Hearing Lin Kuang's words, Zhang Guodong's expression changed dramatically. "Wait for me, I'll be right there!" he exclaimed, hastily hanging up the phone.
Lin Kuang then turned his cold gaze to Yamamoto Saku. "Yamamoto Saku, you will lead us to the drugs. Otherwise, I will make you wish you were dead. Believe me."
Lin Kuang's threat sent a violent tremor through Yamamoto Saku, who nodded repeatedly. Remembering the Bone-dislocating Hand Lin Kuang had used on him, his heart seized with terror. That feeling… I never want to experience it again as long as I live.
About twenty minutes later, Zhang Guodong rushed into the interrogation room, his face etched with anxiety. The commander was a comical sight—his military uniform was disheveled and his buttons were mismatched, a clear sign of his haste.
"Lin Kuang, I'm here," Zhang Guodong said quickly as he entered.
"Yes, Uncle Zhang. We've sorted everything out. This is what happened," Lin Kuang said, before explaining the situation once more.
Upon hearing the report, Zhang Guodong's face turned ashen, his expression grim. "Damn it! They're completely lawless! Did you arrange for people to take control of Gao Zhanchun, Shi Yushan, and Meng Hao?" he asked urgently.
Lin Kuang was taken aback for a moment before shaking his head in embarrassment. "I was so focused on the Biochemical Virus that I overlooked them."
"No problem. I'll have them taken into custody right now. Wait for me, then we'll head straight to Nanjing Port!" Zhang Guodong said urgently and then left.
Three minutes later, he returned. "It's done. Let's go."
Lin Kuang nodded, grabbed Yamamoto Saku, and followed Zhang Guodong outside.
On the parade ground, hundreds of fully armed warriors had already assembled. Kang Cheng led the Thunderhawk Special Forces at the front, with Liang Kai standing before them.
"Liang Kai, the military region is in your hands! Everyone else, follow me!" Zhang Guodong shouted.
Before Liang Kai could even reply, Zhang Guodong got into a vehicle with Lin Kuang and Yamamoto Saku. Immediately after, Kang Cheng, the Thunderhawk Special Forces, and the several hundred warriors boarded six vehicles and sped towards Nanjing Port.
Meanwhile, Li Rongzu and his men were completely unaware of this development; they were still on the road, heading back from the farm.
After driving for nearly half an hour, the convoy finally arrived at Nanjing Port. The port director was so startled by the arrival of so many soldiers that he stood there, at a complete loss. When Zhang Guodong stepped out of his vehicle and identified himself, the port director nearly pissed himself in fear. The commander-in-chief of the Nanjing Military Region is here? What in the hell is going on?!
Zhang Guodong wasted no words on the director. At that moment, Lin Kuang hauled Yamamoto Saku from the vehicle.
"Where are your people hiding? Speak up!" Lin Kuang demanded coldly.
At this point, Yamamoto Saku dared not hide anything and revealed the location of the Yamaguchi-gumi members. Zhang Guodong then had the port director lead them there. After all, with so many shipping containers around, God only knew which one Yamamoto was referring to. The director, of course, dared not delay. Everyone boarded the vehicles and, under his guidance, arrived at the specified location.
"Move out! Surround the area! Don't let a single one escape!" Zhang Guodong snorted, issuing orders to his soldiers.
Kang Cheng, Song Tao, and the rest of the Thunderhawk Special Forces took the lead, rushing toward the container. They carefully pried open the iron door and tossed in two tear gas grenades. The next moment, thick smoke billowed out. Immediately, the people inside scrambled out frantically. It was unbearable in there, giving them no choice but to flee.
The men from the Island Country stumbled out choking, their eyes red as they coughed violently. Without firing a single bullet, Kang Cheng's team captured them all.
"Reporting, Commander! We've captured them all," Kang Cheng reported loudly as he ran over.
Zhang Guodong nodded and exchanged a glance with Lin Kuang. The two of them approached the container. As they opened its iron door, the lingering smoke rapidly dispersed. When it had cleared, they stepped inside.
The container held over a dozen large sacks, along with other miscellaneous items. Without hesitation, Lin Kuang tore them open. Bag after bag of white powder came into view. Lin Kuang took a closer look, smelled it, and confirmed his suspicion. These were undoubtedly drugs.
"Damn it! These cursed men from the Island Country, they all deserve to die!" Zhang Guodong cursed furiously.
"The ones who really deserve to die are our own people! To cooperate with these beasts… they are the ones who truly deserve death!" Lin Kuang's expression grew even colder as he spoke, his voice turning glacial.
"You're right. They're the ones who deserve it most. This time, I'll make sure none of them gets away!" Zhang Guodong said viciously, his face a mask of extreme anger.
Looking at the sacks on the ground, Lin Kuang said, "Uncle Zhang, let's get this stuff out of here. Have the research department take it for centralized destruction to prevent any further trouble."
"Alright, I'll arrange it right away." With that, Zhang Guodong stepped out of the container and ordered his men to load the sacks onto the trucks.
Once everything was done, Zhang Guodong, Lin Kuang, and the others left the port and headed straight back to the military region.
Meanwhile, Li Rongzu was so furious he could have cursed his own mother. He had just arrived at the military region when he heard that Zhang Guodong and Lin Kuang had gone to the port. His eyes reddened with fury, and his chest heaved. He led his men and raced to the port without a moment's delay.
Just as they were about to reach it, they saw Lin Kuang, Zhang Guodong, and the others leaving. Seeing this, Li Rongzu was absolutely livid. He had rushed to the farm only to eat their dust, and now he'd gotten to the port only to eat their dust again. Damn it all! This is infuriating!
Roaring with rage, Li Rongzu ordered his men to turn around and follow Zhang Guodong's convoy back to the military region.
Watching Li Rongzu's vehicles turn around, Lin Kuang couldn't help but grin. "That Li Rongzu is probably going to die from anger."
"Huh? What's going on?" Zhang Guodong asked, slightly puzzled.
Lin Kuang just smiled and explained how they had gone to the farm and then the port, with Li Rongzu trailing them every step of the way. "They must be absolutely furious by now!"
