Unrivaled Soldier in the City-Chapter 324: The Little One is Sly
"Bastard, let go of me," Yang Ruoxi said, her small face flushing as she was held in Lin Kuang’s embrace.
"Why should I let go? Isn’t it perfectly normal for me to hold my wife, Ruoxi?" Lin Kuang said with a grin, blowing hot air on her ear. The tickling sensation made her squirm uncomfortably.
"I’m... I’m not your wife yet," Yang Ruoxi argued, her small face still bright red.
Hearing this, Lin Kuang put on a wounded expression. "Really? Are you sure?"
As he spoke, his wandering hands weren’t idle. They had already snuck their way to her chest, gently closing around one of her breasts.
In that instant, Yang Ruoxi’s delicate body shuddered. A deep shyness welled up in her beautiful eyes, and she went limp, leaning weakly against him.
"No, stop it, you bastard! Not now! We’re about to have dinner," she protested, her face aflame as her anxious squirming intensified.
"I didn’t say I was going to do anything," Lin Kuang said with a mischievous grin, his hands refusing to cease their exploration. "I just wanted to ask if you’re really my wife or not."
Although her chest wasn’t particularly large, it had a delicate and exquisite quality that felt wonderful in his hand.
"Yes, yes, I am! I was just joking before," Yang Ruoxi relented, shooting Lin Kuang a glare, her pretty face full of grievance.
"So, will you ever say you aren’t again?" Lin Kuang asked menacingly, increasing the pressure of his grip.
Feeling the change, Yang Ruoxi quickly shook her head. "No, no, I won’t! I won’t ever say it again! You bad guy, just not right now, okay?" she pleaded. She really couldn’t take much more of this.
"Then when?" Lin Kuang pressed. Teasing Yang Ruoxi is just too much fun. It’s fantastic.
"When... when there’s no one else around, okay?" Yang Ruoxi whispered after a moment of hesitation.
"Alright then, it’s a deal," Lin Kuang said with a wicked smile as he finally withdrew his hand. "Since you were so eager to offer."
Hearing his words, Yang Ruoxi glared at him fiercely. He was the one threatening me, but now he’s twisting it to sound like I made the first move! How infuriating!
When Lin Kuang’s hand left, she felt a strange sense of emptiness, and a small pang of disappointment pricked her heart.
"Auntie, Uncle, time to eat!" Just then, little Xinxin came bouncing over, calling out cheerfully.
Hearing Xinxin’s voice and footsteps, Yang Ruoxi hastily straightened up in Lin Kuang’s arms.
Xinxin had already run into the room. "Hurry up!" she called out again with a pout.
"Okay, Xinxin," Lin Kuang replied with a smile.
"Huh? Auntie, why is your face so red?" Xinxin asked curiously, her big eyes fixed on Yang Ruoxi’s crimson cheeks.
"This is grown-up business. Kids shouldn’t butt in," Yang Ruoxi retorted fiercely, unable to think of a better excuse. The past few moments had been far too awkward.
"Hehe, I know! Auntie and Uncle must have been doing something naughty, right?" Xinxin giggled, her big eyes blinking as she looked back and forth between them.
At her words, Yang Ruoxi’s face turned completely scarlet with embarrassment. She shot a furious glare at Lin Kuang. If it weren’t for this bastard, none of this would be happening!
"Ahem. You little rascal, what are you talking about? Uncle just gave your aunt a little kiss, that’s all. Like this." As he spoke, Lin Kuang picked up Xinxin and planted a big, loud kiss on her little cheek.
"Ahh! Uncle, you’re so bad! Kissing a girl!" Xinxin shrieked. Her precocious act left Lin Kuang and Yang Ruoxi at a loss for whether to laugh or cry.
It would be a cosmic injustice if nobody adored this little girl, Lin Kuang thought as the three of them went downstairs for dinner.
During the meal, Xinxin finished early. She walked over to Yang Ruotong and announced cheerfully, "Mom, Uncle and Auntie were doing naughty things just now!"
Hearing this, Lin Kuang nearly sprayed his food everywhere. This little girl was an absolute menace!
At the same time, Yang Ruoxi’s face turned scarlet. She lowered her head, too mortified to look at anyone.
Yang Ruotong froze for a second, then a blush crept onto her own charming face. Her beautiful eyes flickered involuntarily toward Lin Kuang.
Seeing this, Lin Kuang quickly waved his hands in denial. "Ahem, Sister Tong, don’t misunderstand. I just gave Ruoxi a kiss, that’s it. Nothing else." He had to explain himself. That little girl was just too good at causing trouble.
"Oh, it’s okay," Yang Ruotong said, her face still rosy. "If you two do... you know... just remember to take precautions."
She and Lin Kuang didn’t need to, as she had her own methods. But Yang Ruoxi was inexperienced in such matters, so it was only natural for her older sister to offer a word of caution.
Her advice only made Yang Ruoxi’s face burn hotter. "Sister, don’t listen to Xinxin’s nonsense! Lin Kuang and I didn’t do anything!" she explained, glaring at her little niece.
"Alright, I get it," Yang Ruotong said again. "I’m just reminding you to be safe when the time actually comes." Her words made Yang Ruoxi shrink with shyness.
Lin Kuang, on the other hand, had the nerve to wink at Yang Ruotong, as if to say, ’We’ve never bothered with precautions,’ which made her pretty face flush all over again.
After the awkward yet amusing dinner, Lin Kuang finally took his leave. The moment he was gone, Yang Ruoxi began to "deal with" Xinxin, whose loud cries for help went unanswered.
Driving his car, Lin Kuang was in a great mood. He hummed a little tune, and his smile widened as he pictured Xinxin’s adorable face.
After about fifteen minutes, a car suddenly shot out from the side, aiming to ram directly into the driver’s door where Lin Kuang was sitting.
Seeing this, Lin Kuang’s expression turned grave. He slammed his foot on the accelerator. The engine roared as the car surged forward, narrowly dodging the collision. In the next instant, he stomped on the brakes and cranked the wheel, sending the car into a sharp, sideways skid.
That’s when he saw the other driver—a man in his thirties.
His instincts screamed at him. An assassin.
The thought immediately brought to mind what Feng Chun, the leader of the Dark Blood Six Elders, had said before his death: he had put a ten-billion-dollar bounty on Lin Kuang’s head in the Assassin World. Now, it seemed, those assassins were starting to make their move!
As Lin Kuang was processing this, the assassin swiftly pulled out a pistol and opened fire.
The moment the man drew his weapon, Lin Kuang drew his own Desert Eagle. He lowered the window and fired without hesitation.
In that split second, they both pulled their triggers.
BANG! BANG! The two shots rang out almost simultaneously, merging into a single sound. The bullets collided in midair, erupting in a shower of sparks.
