A shiver ran through Lin Kuang as a tingling sensation spread through his body. "Alright," he said, sounding a little disappointed. "So, why did you call me here? I thought you had finally come around."

"You jerk! Is that the only thing you can think about?" Lin Guo’er retorted, glaring fiercely at him.

"Ahem, I was just kidding," Lin Kuang said with a chuckle. "Look at you, getting so worked up."

In response, Lin Guo’er wrinkled her cute little nose and bit down hard on his neck.

The pain made Lin Kuang yelp, his face twisting in agony. "Ow, ow, ow! Damn it, let go! Are you a vampire? That really hurts!" he complained. That girl’s bite was vicious.

Hearing the genuine pain in his voice, Lin Guo’er finally released him. She licked her lips seductively. "Hmph! Serves you right. That’s what you get for messing with me. Who told you to be such a jerk? You feel it now, don’t you?" she said with a triumphant grin, clearly in a much better mood.

"Alright, I won’t do it again," Lin Kuang said with a wicked smile, his gaze suggestively roaming over her body, "because next time, I’ll make sure you don’t even have the strength to lift a finger."

Understanding his meaning perfectly, Lin Guo’er blushed and rolled her eyes at him. "Oh, really? We’ll just have to see about that. Just don’t be the one begging for mercy," she retorted playfully, her flirtatious look making Lin Kuang’s heart race.

"Don’t worry," Lin Kuang said, thumping his chest confidently. "As long as you don’t surrender, I’ll battle you until dawn!"

"Does that mean we’d start at six in the morning?" Lin Guo’er asked, blinking with feigned curiosity.

In response, Lin Kuang gave her shapely rear a firm slap. "You little minx, you’re underestimating me! I’ll show you just how formidable I am!" he said with a touch of indignation. Maybe I should just devour this cheeky girl tonight. She’s getting a little too mischievous.

"Alright, let’s not talk about that for now," Lin Guo’er said, snuggling into his embrace. She smiled, her eyes full of curiosity. "So, what’s your plan for dealing with this crisis? Tell me."
