Chapter 192: Chapter 192: Loving Breakfast

After teasing Yang Ruoxi, which also served to let her vent her frustration, Lin Kuang deliberately allowed her to pinch him a couple of times until she was finally satisfied and withdrew her hands.

The two of them went downstairs and had breakfast, after which Lin Kuang bid farewell and returned to the Liu Family residence.

When Lin Kuang arrived, he found Liu Shilin wearing an apron and holding a plate of freshly made fried eggs.

"Lin Kuang, you’re back? Come and try the breakfast I made." Setting the plate on the table, Liu Shilin said with a smile.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang felt a warmth spread through his chest. He was surprised that Liu Shilin had made him breakfast, but even more than that, he was deeply touched.

"Mmm, that smells delicious," Lin Kuang said with a grin, taking a deep sniff. As he spoke, he sat down at the table.

At that moment, Liu Shilin opened the rice cooker, revealing steaming hot rice porridge inside. There were also two dishes of exquisite pickled vegetables on the table, making for a beautiful and appetizing spread.

"Come on, try it. I haven’t cooked in a long time, so I might be a bit rusty," Liu Shilin said with a smile, ladling a bowl of porridge for Lin Kuang.

Watching Liu Shilin’s careful movements, the warmth in Lin Kuang’s heart grew.

"You look just like a newlywed, Shilin. It’s adorable," Lin Kuang commented with a grin, gazing at her pretty face.

Hearing this, Liu Shilin’s face turned slightly red. She gave him a playful glare and said, "Not at all. Just hurry up and try it." With that, her beautiful eyes watched Lin Kuang, full of anticipation.

Lin Kuang nodded, took a sip of the porridge, and tried the pickles. To his surprise, it was all quite delicious.

"Hmm, this is really good. I never knew you had such skills, Shilin. It looks like I’m in for a treat from now on," Lin Kuang said, genuinely surprised. He had assumed she was just going through the motions, but her cooking was truly impressive.

Upon hearing Lin Kuang’s compliments, a proud smile appeared on Liu Shilin’s lovely face.

"I may not have cooked in a long time, but I haven’t lost my touch," she said with a smile, clearly pleased with herself.

"Of course. After all, you’re my wife, Shilin," Lin Kuang teased, sipping his porridge.

At these words, Liu Shilin’s face flushed again. "I... I haven’t agreed to marry you yet."

"Is that so?" Lin Kuang feigned surprise. "I seem to recall a certain beauty telling me just last night that she was all mine. Could she have forgotten already?"

"Oh, fine! I’m yours, alright?" Liu Shilin mumbled, lowering her head with a deep blush, her face so low it almost dipped into her bowl.

Hearing her admission, Lin Kuang wrapped an arm around her and planted a firm kiss on her red lips. "That’s more like it. Now, eat up before it gets cold."

Liu Shilin nodded, her face still flushed, and the two of them ate their breakfast together.

Although the meal was simple, Lin Kuang found it incredibly heartwarming. After all, it was the first time Liu Shilin had ever cooked for him, and he truly cherished the feeling.

After breakfast, Liu Shilin went upstairs to change while Lin Kuang cleared the table.

Once Lin Kuang had finished washing the dishes, Liu Shilin came downstairs dressed in professional attire.

"Let’s go. A new day begins," Liu Shilin said with a smile, glancing at him.

Lin Kuang nodded, his deep gaze sweeping over her from head to toe, making her pretty face flush.

"What are you looking at?" she asked shyly.

"Nothing. I was just thinking that my wife is getting more beautiful every day," Lin Kuang said shamelessly, a wide grin on his face.

"You rogue, you’re getting worse and worse," she said, her cheeks flushing again. "Let’s go." She huffed in feigned annoyance before stepping out of the main hall.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang chuckled and followed her.

He drove them to the Yashi Company building. After parking, they both headed upstairs. Upon reaching their floor, they saw that Lin Guo’er, Duoduo, and Susu had already arrived. They all greeted Lin Kuang and Liu Shilin warmly.

Lin Guo’er, however, simply cast Lin Kuang a coquettishly reproachful look without saying much. Lin Kuang just smiled and followed Liu Shilin into her office.

"Shilin, you can tell our agents to reopen for business. Starting today, no one will be smashing up their stores anymore," Lin Kuang said with a smile, looking at Liu Shilin seated in her executive chair.

Liu Shilin was taken aback, her eyes widening in surprise. "Really? You’ve already taken care of everything?" she asked, finding it hard to believe.

"Of course. Why would I lie to you? Besides, I have no reason to lie about something like this, do I?" Lin Kuang said with a laugh.

Hearing this, Liu Shilin nodded excitedly.

Although Liu Shilin had maintained a calm facade, she had been deeply concerned about Yashi’s situation. Now that Lin Kuang had eliminated her underlying worries, how could she not be ecstatic?

With that thought, Liu Shilin immediately called in Duoduo and Susu, instructing them to inform the agents that they could resume normal business operations. She also added that the company would reimburse them for their losses over the past few days.

Losing a bit of money didn’t faze Liu Shilin. What she truly feared was that no one would dare to be an agent for Yashi’s lingerie anymore. If that happened, it would be a truly massive loss.

Duoduo and Susu were delighted to hear the news. It had been their biggest worry as well, and they were thrilled that the problem was finally solved.

In an instant, the entire atmosphere at Yashi changed. If the company had been shrouded in gloom before, it now buzzed with renewed vitality. With everyone’s spirits lifted, they found new motivation in their work.

Around ten o’clock, Lin Guo’er entered the office, a look of confusion on her charming face.

"Guo’er, what’s wrong?" Liu Shilin asked curiously.

"The bosses of our suppliers, Huo Weihua from Jiahua Fabric Factory and Cheng Lin from Honglin Buckle Factory, are here to see Lin Kuang. They look really anxious, like something is wrong," Lin Guo’er reported, her tone a little uncertain.

Upon hearing this, Liu Shilin was startled and involuntarily turned her gaze to Lin Kuang.

Lin Kuang frowned. "Guo’er, show them in. I’ll see what they want."

"Okay, I’ll bring them up," Lin Guo’er nodded before turning to leave.

Watching her go, Lin Kuang suddenly had a bad premonition, as if something was about to happen.

Sensing something was amiss, Liu Shilin couldn’t help but ask with concern, "Lin Kuang, there won’t be a problem, will there?"

After all, Yashi had just overcome its previous difficulties, and Liu Shilin didn’t want any new problems to arise at this juncture.
