Feng Xuxu , checking Dugu Chen over and over to ensure he was unharmed, finally let out a sigh of relief. Then, turning to look at the others, seeing that other than their clothes being dirty, everything else was fine, she showed a faint smile.

"Xiaojin is the Snake King after all. It should be able to handle it, fighting poison with poison, that might be the best way," Feng Xuxu shook her head, her gaze fixed ahead.
Dugu Chen raised his thick eyebrows, watching Xiaojin slither over.
The giant python shrank back the moment it saw Xiaojin, lowering its head to look at the resplendent golden-winged Snake King, issuing a long, dark purple hiss, as if warning Xiaojin for crossing its boundary.
Xiaojin kept moving forward, getting closer to the giant python, which hissed more frequently and seemed to retreat slightly.
After Xiaojin slid forward a bit more, the giant python could no longer contain itself. It swiped its tail over, attempting to crush Xiaojin, but the nimble little creature dodged the attack. When the giant python’s first strike failed, it launched a series of attacks. Xiaojin angrily glared with its snake eyes, coiled its body into a ball, and within moments, the wind began to rise, slowly at first, but then gaining strength. The courtyard’s leaves mixed with the sand from the ground, slowly rising to mid-air and churning the yard into a muddy chaos, rendering everyone unable to open their eyes.
Some soldiers, who’d been struck down, curled up behind a large tree at the back of the courtyard, all trembling like chaff, their faces pale with fear. The more faint-hearted were even rolling their eyes and foaming at the mouth, while others simply lost consciousness, rolling up their eyes and fainting on the spot. Those with more courage all looked into the distance, at the giant snake, a sight rare to behold in a hundred years.
A flash of gold, and as the wind slowly settled, a golden-yellow giant python appeared in the courtyard, its presence even more formidable than that of the green giant python.
