Universe’s Ultimate BOSS-Chapter 425 - 424: The Big Meatball
Chapter 425: Chapter 424: The Big Meatball
In the pitch-dark palace.
Wang Hao and Le Xuan were plummeting rapidly.
“Wang Hao, hurry up and think of something. I really don’t want to be squashed into a pancake,” Le Xuan said as she clung tightly to Wang Hao, her body trembling slightly.
“Ah!” Wang Hao sighed lightly, “Thinking of a solution requires inspiration, but I have no feeling right now. How am I supposed to think of anything?”
“Then what exactly do you need to come up with a plan?!” Le Xuan asked anxiously.
Wang Hao’s lips quirked up, “For a woman to make a man ‘feel’ something, surely that’s something I don’t need to teach you, right?!”

“You, you shameless rogue!” Le Xuan, her pretty face flushed with anger, pinched Wang Hao hard on his waist.
Wang Hao caught Le Xuan’s naughty hand and reminded her, “We’ve been falling for quite some time now. I reckon we’re about to hit the ground.”
“Hmph, I won’t make it easy for you. Worst comes to worst, we’ll all go down together,” Le Xuan said huffily, puffing up with anger.
“Good grief, you’re vicious, thinking of being buried with me after we die,” Wang Hao sighed, “Too bad for you, I’m a special case. As long as I don’t die on the spot, I can quickly recover.”
“Really?!” Le Xuan looked unconvinced, but thinking back to the scene at Sky Sword Villa where Wang Hao took on an army of three hundred thousand by himself, she felt very uncertain.
Ever since that incident, she had labeled Wang Hao as non-human.
“Believe it or not!” Wang Hao shrugged.
“Ow, what are you doing?!” Wang Hao pinched hard and raised an eyebrow, “I said a woman just needs to give a man a word of encouragement with love. I didn’t expect you to take the initiative. Admit it, have you been secretly in love with me for a long time?!”
“You’ve played the rogue and taken advantage, now hurry up and think of something,” Le Xuan slapped Wang Hao’s hand away, her pretty face redder than ever, though it was unclear if it was out of anger or embarrassment.
Wang Hao put on an aggrieved face, “Who’s playing the rogue? It was clearly you forcing yourself on me and taking advantage. I’m the victim here.”
Le Xuan pulled out a Level 4 grenade, her face set with determination, “Wang Hao, I’m going to count to three. If you can’t think of anything by then, we’ll die together. Even if people say we died for love, I’ll accept it.”
“Good heavens! You women are terrifying; not only do you harass me while alive but you even want to monopolize me after death,” Wang Hao sighed, then pulled out a parachute, and the two of them drifted down leisurely.
“Wang Hao, you bastard…” Le Xuan was frantic with anger. Not one word out of this bastard’s mouth was ever true; first, he said there was no parachute, and now there was.
Before long, their field of view brightened, and they found themselves in a strange space.
There were mountains and waters here but not a single green plant to be seen, all of them pitch-black. The sky was overcast, devoid of sunlight.
However, the space was incredibly vast, easily the size of Earth at a simple glance.
“Kill!”
Suddenly, sounds of slaughter echoed in their ears.
Wang Hao and Le Xuan turned their heads to look and saw not far from Black Water River, rows of military tents linked together with soldiers on patrol.
At the same time, by the river bank, two groups were engaged in fierce battle, though the number of participants was few, about a hundred or so, with some onlookers lounging around nearby.
One of the groups, Wang Hao knew well—they were humans like themselves.
However, Wang Hao and Le Xuan were stunned by the opposing force because they weren’t human, and they weren’t even biological creatures, but a band of skeletons.
“Good God, these skeletons can move?!” Wang Hao watched curiously as the skeletons fought against the humans.
After landing, Le Xuan pushed Wang Hao away, her brow furrowed, “What place is this? Why does it feel like a world unto its own with its sky and land, and even mountains and rivers?!”
Wang Hao was taken aback for a moment then muttered, “Could this be a treasure similar to the Spirit Realm Ball?”
“Spirit Realm Ball?!” Le Xuan blinked her large eyes at Wang Hao, waiting for him to explain.
“Spirit Realm Ball?” Wang Hao feigned confusion, “You must have heard wrong. I said ‘great meatballs,’ meaning your ‘balls’ are not only big but also meaty and soft.”
“You… shameless rascal!” Le Xuan was so angry she stomped her foot, her pretty face turning beet red.
“Who’s shameless now?!” Wang Hao retorted indignantly, “Le Xuan, you should have a conscience when you speak. Was it me who initiated the touch? Clearly, you forced me to touch you.”
“You…” Le Xuan was rendered speechless in retort.
Just then, a middle-aged woman appeared, looking at them with surprise, “Two lucky youngsters, to not have been hurt from the fall. But please, follow me quickly. If the undead discover you, it’ll be the end of us.”
“Undead?!” Wang Hao and Le Xuan looked bewildered, obviously not knowing what that was.
“The undead are those skeletons,” the middle-aged woman pointed towards the distant skeletons, “They used to be humans, too, but after death, their bodies were transformed into skeletons by the old demon, and not only could they move, but they also retained seventy percent of their strength from when they were alive.”
“Good Lord, so even corpses can be recycled?!” Wang Hao instantly became interested in this technique.
The middle-aged woman advised, “Young man, you better not think about these wonderful things. It is said that the old demon could refine the bodies into undead because he knows a Divine Skill that allows him to infuse his own Life Force into these bodies, bringing them back to a semblance of life, though their flesh cannot be restored, leaving only their skeletal frames.”
“Life Force infused into bodies?!” Wang Hao was stunned, then asked curiously, “How old is this old demon you mentioned now?”
“I don’t know!” The middle-aged woman shook her head, “It is said that this old demon committed too many evils back in the day and was Sealed on the Heavenly Demon Star by some supreme being.”
“Damn, are you saying that the Heavenly Demon Star is as old as this old demon?!” Wang Hao exclaimed. If his memory served correctly, according to the history of the interstellar federation, Heavenly Demon Star had been discovered for at least thirty thousand years by now.
The middle-aged woman nodded, “According to the elders, this old demon can absorb others’ Life Force to keep himself eternally youthful. So no one knows for certain how old he is.”
“Wow, what kind of Divine Skill did this old demon practice to be so amazing?!” Wang Hao suddenly became very interested in this old demon.
The middle-aged woman sized up Wang Hao, then couldn’t help but ask, “Young man, why do I feel like I’ve seen you somewhere before? Have we met?”
Le Xuan hurriedly said, “His name is Wang Hao, and his dad’s name is Wang Tianyi. You must have seen his dad, right?”
“You are the son of Marshal Tianyi, come with me to the base,” the middle-aged woman screamed excitedly, pulling Wang Hao and Le Xuan, and sprinting toward the military tents—that is, the base she mentioned…
