Chapter 801: Chapter 801: The Wounds Suffered for Her 1

Back in her room, Xia Yinian stood on the balcony, just able to see the villa where Yu Wanqing was.

From her balcony, she could also see the window of Yu Wanqing’s room.

Apart from a little light, she couldn’t see what was happening inside.

Xia Yinian stood there for an hour.

The light over there was still on, but she didn’t know what was actually going on inside.

With a light sigh, Xia Yinian dialed Chi He’s number.

"Hello, Chi He."

"Miss Niannian, is there something you need?" Chi He’s voice came from the other end of the phone.

"I wanted to ask about Yu Wanqing’s condition." Xia Yinian asked softly.

"Lady Qing’s injuries aren’t serious, it’s just her mental state that’s not good. The Seventh Young Master is with her now." Chi He responded.

"It’s good they’re not serious, thank you, Chi He." Before Chi He could say anything else, Xia Yinian ended the call.

Chi He also wanted to say that the Seventh Young Master only felt indebted to Yu Wanqing, and even though they were in the same room, nothing would happen.

The relationship between Miss Niannian and the Seventh Young Master had just improved a bit, he was worried she would misunderstand.

But before he could speak, the call was already cut off.

Upon knowing that Yu Wanqing was fine, Xia Yinian breathed a sigh of relief, turned around, and walked into her room, not thinking much more about it.

...

The whole night, Xia Yinian couldn’t sleep well, her thoughts were elsewhere.

The next morning early, after waking up, the first thing she did was head towards the villa on the other side.

Even though she couldn’t do much to help, she still wanted to go and have a look.

As soon as Xia Yinian walked into the villa’s hall, she noticed something was amiss.

Several servants stood in the corridor, even the doctor and nurse were standing outside the door, looking anxious.

"What’s going on?" Xia Yinian asked a servant in a low voice.

"Lady Qing refuses to let anyone into her room. We’ve switched a batch of people, but still can’t go in to assist her."

"Even the doctor and nurse can’t get close to her, she now..."

The maid’s words were interrupted by another scream from inside.

The voice sounded somewhat weak, with a tinge of sorrow.

"Where’s the Seventh Young Master? Wasn’t he here yesterday?" Xia Yinian’s voice was very low, not wanting the people inside to hear.

"The Seventh Young Master accompanied Lady Qing for a while last night, and then he left." The maid continued.

"Lady Qing woke up to find the Seventh Young Master not there, and she hasn’t been able to calm down since. It’s been nearly an hour like this."

"But the Seventh Young Master didn’t leave any instructions, so everyone is afraid of calling and disturbing him."

Hearing the hoarse cries from inside, Xia Yinian felt uneasy too.

She nodded, walked past several servants, and stood in front of the doctor.

"Doctor, based on the patient’s condition, what treatments are planned for today?"

Yesterday, Xia Yinian didn’t come over, so she wasn’t sure of Yu Wanqing’s exact situation.

"Miss Niannian, the most concerning aspect of Lady Qing’s condition is her mental well-being, other injuries with treatment shouldn’t be too much of a problem."

"It’s just that without the Seventh Young Master, we’re afraid we’re powerless. If he hadn’t been here last night, Lady Qing wouldn’t have allowed us to even tend to her wounds."

"If this goes on, the knife wounds on her body could very likely split open again." The doctor, holding the medicine box, looked worried.

"Are we supposed to apply medication for her external injuries, and give her an IV drip?" Xia Yinian glanced at the items on the trolley.

"Yes." The doctor nodded slightly, feeling utterly helpless.
