Chapter 943: Chapter 943: Whose USB Drive Is It?

"I invited you here today to discuss a partnership." Justin Kingston sat down on the sofa, pouring the tea himself with an incredibly gentle presence, "I’ve long heard that Chairman Morgan has a chief technology officer, a genius-level person."

As he finished speaking, Justin handed over a cup of tea, along with a contract.

Hearing this, Everett Morgan immediately felt less tense.

"You’re an expert in developing online apps; our Kingston Group will handle the project while you take care of the content. How about we develop some educational apps together?"

Justin spoke warmly, "I’ve included all the detailed plans in this proposal. You can take a look."

"Additionally," Justin handed over another document, "this is the contract."

Developing an app?

The cost for this is quite high, though the Morgan Group has been researching, they really haven’t produced many final products.

They had previously considered partnering with the Merce Group, but with the engagement between Melissa Merce and Finn Morgan called off, that matter also got shelved.

Everett Morgan picked up the proposal and glanced through it swiftly.

Justin patiently waited, admiring the exquisite patterns on the teacup, occasionally sipping the tea.

"Such detailed writing?" Everett Morgan was pleased, "It seems CEO Kingston has done a special amount of research."

"Yes." Justin nodded to confirm, "I’ve spent a lot of effort on this, always looking for a partner."

Everett Morgan felt a bit flattered; he would certainly agree.

"My wife and Hailey are best friends," Justin specifically reminded, "when the Morgan Group and the Kingston Group collaborate, it’s like we’re in-laws."

Everett Morgan looked up, their eyes meeting, finally understanding CEO Kingston’s meaning.

The two successfully signed the contract; this event is bound to be a win-win.

After Everett Morgan left the club, Justin stayed on the sofa, sipping another cup of tea alone, his gaze as rich as the scent of roses.

He stood up to leave, and just as he stepped out the revolving door, he saw a young man carrying an open laptop walking past.

Originally, there was nothing unusual about it, but Justin inadvertently noticed a USB drive hanging from the laptop, with half of a familiar jade pendant attached to it!

In a flash, Justin halted in his tracks, turning his head to look at the figure walking away, watching the young man enter a certain door!

Justin’s breath caught, his nerves tensed, and he quickly followed!

Through the open door, he immediately saw four or five people seated inside; it was a large multifunctional conference room.

And Justin’s appearance quickly drew everyone’s attention.

"CEO Kingston?"

David Dalton, dressed in a formal suit, stood up, looking somewhat surprised yet honored as he spoke, "You’re also at the club today?"

Justin slightly composed himself, "Yes." He entered leisurely, instantly seeing the laptop placed in front of David Dalton.

The half jade pendant on the USB drive stood out conspicuously.

"In a meeting?" Justin’s eyes were deep and dark, and his presence wasn’t intimidating. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

David Dalton followed his gaze, also looking at the jade pendant.

Everyone focused their attention on Justin, "Hello, CEO Kingston." All were in awe.

Justin withdrew his gaze and nodded towards everyone.

"Yes, I booked the club for a project discussion today," David Dalton said.

"Did you bring your own laptop?" Justin looked again at the laptop with the USB drive inserted, "The club actually provides laptops, just on the second floor."

"I know, but things are cumbersome to transfer, so I prefer not to bother." David Dalton replied self-deprecatingly, "People my age aren’t used to high-tech."

"How big is your USB drive? Where did you buy it?" Justin found a rather clumsy excuse, "I’ve been planning to get one myself lately."

Huh?

Does the great CEO Kingston need to ask about cost-effectiveness when buying a USB drive?

Isn’t it just a matter of saying the word, and someone would immediately sort it out for him?

But Justin just wanted to determine whose USB drive it was.
