Chapter 911: Chapter 911: How Do You Want It? Separate Rooms?

"Uncle, Bro." Jocelyn Morgan greeted them, appearing much calmer in front of Everett Morgan.

"Jocelyn, still up so late?" Everett casually showed concern, "Young people shouldn’t stay up late."

"Sure, Uncle!"

Finn Morgan stopped in his tracks as Everett walked past the girl and left.

Jocelyn watched him go downstairs and then turned her gaze back to Finn, meeting his eyes, "Bro."

"Where’s Hailey?" Finn reached out to give her a playful pat on the head, "Is she still chatting with Mom?"

"No, I took her back to the room. She’s probably showering now." Jocelyn hooked her arm around his, pulling him along and asking, "So what’s up with you two?"

"What’s up with us?" Finn glanced at her.

"Are you still just friends with her? You guys are about to get married!"

Facing his sister’s curious and gossipy look, Finn was puzzled, "Did she say something to you?"

"..." Jocelyn didn’t answer, watching his expression closely.

Finn thought, no way? Would Hailey really talk about such private things with her?

"What are you thinking?" Finn tugged her hand off and tapped her head, "Don’t guess about things not suitable for children, or you won’t grow tall!"

Then Finn stepped towards the bedroom.

Jocelyn pouted, watching his retreating back. As he disappeared from view, her eyes curved into mischievous arches with a playful smile.

Hehe, no matter how innocent it was before,

it certainly won’t be innocent after tonight, right?

In the perfectly cozy bedroom, Hailey Hale emerged from the bathroom with her hair still wet, fully dressed. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

Finn happened to enter at this moment and casually closed the door behind him.

The sound of the door closing made Hailey’s heart skip a beat.

Her hands paused in mid-motion as she was drying her hair, and her steps stopped.

Their gazes met, and it felt as though time stood still, with a trace of awkwardness lingering in the air.

Finn approached her and noticed that she wasn’t in her pajamas, seemingly trying to cover herself up deliberately, which made him smile.

"Come here, let me help you dry your hair."

Hailey pressed her pink lips together as Finn took her by the shoulders and led her to a standing hairdryer.

With long fingers, he pressed the power button, and a warm, gentle breeze blew out. Finn used his fingers to smooth out her hair.

Hailey’s gaze occasionally drifted to the nearby big bed... Will they both sleep there tonight?

There was also a sofa chair in the room, but it wasn’t convenient to sleep on as it was too short...

They’re about to get married; would sleeping separately be too pretentious?

Would it affect their relationship?

But if she voluntarily got into that bed, implying she wanted to sleep with him, would it seem too forward?

Would her image be diminished in his eyes?

All these concerns wrapped around Hailey Hale, and she cared so much because she loved him.

"What are you thinking?"

Hailey suddenly looked up, meeting his eyes.

She realized he’d been watching her all along!

Her face turned crimson, her throat a bit tight, "I... I was thinking about how we should sleep tonight?" Not good at lying, she confessed.

Finn was slightly taken aback, his gentle gaze falling on her wrist.

Then he couldn’t help but chuckle, "You’re wearing the Morgan family heirloom bracelet, about to marry me the day after tomorrow, and you’re asking me how to sleep?"

"..."

His gaze traveled up to her clean, fair face, and he asked, "Miss Hale, what do you want to do? Splitting up already before starting?"

"..." Hailey wished she could find a hole to crawl into!

She didn’t tell him about the bracelet immediately; instead, she first thought about the bed!!

"Your mom gave it to me, saying she cherished it for 30 years." Hailey told him, "I also started calling her Mom. She said it was bound to happen sooner or later."

Hearing this, Finn was quite pleased, "Good girl."

Hailey looked up, "Your mom seems to like me a lot."

"Of course she does. It’s called love by association!" Finn confidently assured her, "Don’t worry, my family is very open-minded. Although we had our ups and downs, that’s all in the past."
