Chapter 1025: Chapter 1025: So She Can’t Come Back

At this moment, Joan Graham got out of the taxi, gripping her bag tightly as she quickly walked into the courtyard and entered the living room.

"Butler Warren, where is the young lady?" She asked hurriedly as soon as she entered the door.

Butler Warren replied, "She’s upstairs, she..." Her eyes showed a bit of worry, and she hesitated as if she had more to say.

"What’s wrong with her?" Joan paused on the staircase, stopping and looking at her, realizing that something was off about her.

"I don’t know what’s wrong with the young lady, but something seems unusual." Butler Warren reported honestly, "She went to Mr. Dalton’s study, I don’t know what she saw, but she fell, and even knocked over the tea. She seemed very frightened."

Hearing this, Joan narrowed her eyes and quickly headed upstairs!

Not finding Sean Dalton in the bedroom, Joan quickly arrived at the study door!

She saw her daughter sitting at the desk, holding the mouse and looking at something on David Garcia’s computer, and her expression was off too.

"Are you crazy?" Joan hurried inside, "There’s surveillance everywhere in the house! What are you doing?"

But Sean Dalton couldn’t care less, "Mom, come and see for yourself! The email Justin Kingston sent to Dad, Mia Lane is actually Stella Dalton! It’s undeniably true!"

Originally walking this way, Joan immediately stopped in her tracks when she heard this, her eyes slightly widened, her face pale.

Sean Dalton looked at her mother, "What? You’re not surprised at all? She’s not Dad’s lover! She’s his daughter!"

"You know already?" Joan murmured.

Also?

Sean Dalton noticed the word, "So... you knew?"

"When I confronted Mia Lane, she revealed her identity to me, saying she is Stella Dalton." Joan clutched her chest, still finding it unbelievable, "I really didn’t expect her to be alive, she’s actually alive!"

Sean Dalton was panicked, "What should we do now?"

"Turn off the computer and go back to your room first." After saying that, Joan turned and left.

"Mom, there’s no need to be so tense." Sean Dalton closed the laptop and got up to follow, "So what if there’s surveillance everywhere? No one would check without a reason, why would Dad be monitoring it?"

"That’s not what I’m worried about." Joan entered the bedroom with a heavy heart, turning to look at her daughter, "Now that Stella Dalton is back, we definitely have to leave! We can’t maintain our foothold with the Dalton family anymore!"

"So we can’t let her come back!" Sean Dalton blurted out, a cold glint of hatred in her eyes, "She must die!"

Their gazes met, and in silence, in that resolute look, the two reached an understanding on this matter.

They just needed to figure out how to do it.

And so, mother and daughter began to plan...

The Dalton Group.

In the luxurious and grand lounge room, Mia Lane and David Garcia sat across the table by the window.

Neither had expected that today would be the day they recognized each other, but what they felt more than anything was joy, a sense of relief.

"Dad, have you been well all these years?" Mia gazed at him, her words full of concern. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

David Garcia’s expression was kindly, "What is considered well?"

"..."

"And what is considered not well?"

"..."

Then Mia saw him smile slightly, and he said, "The moment I lost your mother, my carefree life was instantly halved."

This also reminded Mia of her mother, even though she was too young to remember, she was only three at the time her mother left.

However, one’s longing for a mother and motherly love never stops.

"Stella." David Garcia sighed softly, suppressing the ache in his chest, "How did you leave home? Dad really wants to know."
