Trials of the Abyss-Chapter 947: Bitter Battles
The nine blazing suns slowly dimmed. ๐๐ง๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฃ๐ธ๐๐๐.๐๐๐
The chill ravaged Pang Jian's Immortal Divine Soul, its invasion seeping deep within. His meridians and the arcs of Dao-infused lightning within were all locked in frozen stasis.
She's actually managed to suppress the flames awakened from a God King's legacy using the Daos of cold-affinity Gods.
Pang Jian finally grasped the gulf between them. As he had yet to reach the Exalted God Realm, his divine power had not undergone a fundamental transformation, and he could not unleash the true might of Nine Suns Strike the Heavens. That was the root of this predicament.
The only way to break free is to advance!
Thoughts flashed like lightning through his mind as he strode through everything he knew about the Exalted God Realm.
The Exalted God Realm is the cultivation realm where the Immortal Divine Soul becomes the master of the present, the self, and the world.
The only part of him not yet restrained was his divine sense, which still roamed freely among the stars, weaving through the nine dimming suns. Through its resonance with the Primordial Chaos Starry Region, he gained deep insight into the intricate workings of the Hall of Gods.
Perhaps I can dismantle Fu Ya's divine techniques from within the Hall of Gods itself.
His will slipped into the Hall of Gods, weaving between the four Great Demon Gods and carefully examining each divine seat.

The divine radiance from the Hall of Gods illuminated the sphere of light where Luo Hongyan was merging her six bodies.
"The Dao of Wisdom surpasses all other Daos," she muttered, eyes darting between the Hall of Gods and Fu Ya.
Only now did she realize that the supreme will of the starry skies seemed to favor Fu Ya.
Deciphering a myriad of Daos through the Dao of Wisdom, manifesting endless phenomena through the Hall of Gods, and drawing upon the energies of countless starry regions meant that Fu Ya had near-limitless power at her disposal.
With the Hall of Gods in her grasp, Fu Ya would never be short of strength, regardless of where she was.
No wonder... Luo Hongyan thought with a frown.
Turning to glance at the Black Empyrean Phoenix, she observed its pitch-black eyes, emotionless and unreadable.
The divine radiance streaming from the Hall of Gods had already swept away the boundless darkness, leaving the Black Empyrean Phoenix at a clear disadvantage. It repeatedly attempted to shroud its body in even more darkness, only for the divine radiance to tear through it again and again.
Still, there was not the slightest trace of panic in its cold gaze.
What is it waiting for? What trump card does it still hold? Luo Hongyan wondered, gaze sharp and cold. My six bodies are on the verge of merging into one. Does it truly believe that the two of them can defend the abysses on behalf of the bizarre mist?
***
The divine radiance from the Hall of Gods crashed down on Yan Hao's skull, hammering against the transparent boundary wall like a waterfall.
Ying Yue and Han Yi wore expressions of urgency, aching to share some of Pang Jian's burden, but knowing all too well that there was nothing they could do.
Projections of the Outer Gods could be seen deep within the terrifying torrent pummelling the skull from above.
The images of the Outer Gods that decorated the Hall of Gods appeared to have merged into the raging torrent.
Many of these Outer Gods were high-ranking Gods they had once revered, most with illustrious accomplishments in the starry skies. Their auras were as deep as oceans and suffocating to behold.
It was as if Fu Ya had truly brought them back to life.
"Those are the mightiest Gods in the history of my Wood Race!" Mu Duo cried out in shock.
His ancient ancestors weaved through the waterfall-like torrent, strengthening the divine brilliance and wearing down the boundary wall of the skull.
"The Ruin Realm may not survive this," Mu Duo lamented, forcing himself to look away from the collapsing boundary wall of the skull and turning his attention back to Pang Jian's physical body.
A voice suddenly rang out.
"The Dao Source of Metal."
World God Pendants shot forth from across the Ruin Realm, converging upon the boundary wall curving over the crown of the skull.
A layer of golden radiance flooded the boundary wall of the Ruin Realm!
The twelve World God Pendants first transformed into twelve enormous shields, then continued to enlarge, each becoming as vast as a continent.
These metal continents sealed the boundary walls of the Ruin Realm, reinforcing its defenses and turning it into something akin to what had happened with the barrier of the Abyss.
Pang Jian had drawn upon the Dao Source of Metal using the World God Pendants!
It was as though Yan Hao's skull had turned into the strongest metal in all of creation!
Even the miraculous divine radiance of the Hall of Gods could not affect the boundary wall of the Ruin Realm. They could no longer break it apart.
"So, you've finally grasped a portion of the World God Paragon's power. Pang Jian, perhaps your Ruin Realm can endure, but what about your Immortal Divine Soul?" Fu Ya asked with a faint smile.
The divine radiance released by the Hall of Gods and interwoven into the four frozen worlds had already seeped into Pang Jian's Immortal Divine Soul, even extending into the stars behind him.
Those stars, which Pang Jian had been controlling in preparation for his next offensive, were frozen mid-movement, their connection to Pang Jian severed one by one. The wave of cold had even frozen Pang Jian's Immortal Divine Soul itself.
Suddenly, pairs of snow-white wings unfurled behind Luo Hongyan. Each feather looked as though forged from silver, gleaming with a razor-sharp brilliance that stung the eyes.
"Light and Darkness. Life and Death. Fire and Cold," she muttered.
Thunder rumbled as the three pairs of opposing Daos violently collided. The space around her ruptured and collapsed under the sheer force of her power.
Though she did not wield mastery over the Dao of Space, the unleashing of her full might alone was enough for her to tear the fabric of space apart and annihilate all with the clash of opposing Daos.
"The battle between us has only just begun."
Luo Hongyan flew straight toward the Black Empyrean Phoenix, her wings radiating brilliant light as if they were the Dao Source of Light itself.
"Fu Ya, she's mine."
No one dared look directly at her for fear of being blinded. Not even divine consciousness could perceive her.
"I, too, have waited a long time for this day," muttered the Black Empyrean Phoenix, shrinking until it was no larger than a grain of rice.
The black speck, compressed to its absolute limit, remained motionless within the terrifying tide of light. No matter how fiercely Luo Hongyan's Daos tore at it, it showed not the slightest change.
The two Sovereigns fought in tandem, one against Pang Jian, and the other against the Black Empyrean Phoenix.
Both siblings had been plunged into bitter battles.
