Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 786 - 345: Going Home
Alka bid farewell to Jilenna and quickly arrived beneath the Celestial Flower.
Seeing Alka, the surrounding priests nodded to him without stopping him. After all, he was considered a familiar face.
It wasn't until he was near the roots of the Celestial Flower that a priest stopped Alka, guided him below, and then waited to the side.
Faint pollen drifted from the giant flower. In the air, the pollen transformed into petals, and the silhouette of the Flower Fairy appeared among them.
The priests nearby immediately bowed to show respect.
The Flower Fairy waved her hand and then looked at Alka before her.
"Have you come so soon? Are you ready to leave?" 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Alka nodded.
"Yes."
"Is that so? Well, I hope you come back soon. My people still need your help, and there are things you want here."
With a light chuckle, the Flower Fairy extended her hand. An energy object resembling a seed appeared in her palm.
"What's this?"
Alka looked curiously at the item in her hand. He really couldn't tell what it was. It felt like Divine Essence, yet it was somehow different.
"A Divine Seed. But in this shattered world, there's no place for it to grow. So it's just stored energy and an empty shell."
After hearing the Flower Fairy's explanation, Alka still looked puzzled. He had no idea what use this thing had, or how to use it.
It sounded quite powerful.
"This is what you need. If I had to say what it's useful for, well… Do you have a ship? You probably do. After all, this place has become that big lug, the Sea God's, domain."
Alka nodded. "I do."
"That's good. You can try planting it on the ship. Rest assured, you won't be disappointed."
Upon hearing this, Alka gently took the seed.
Holding it, Alka's perception of it became clearer; it truly resembled Divine Essence, albeit a weakened version. Yet it seemed to possess a tangible form.
Very strange.
Carefully, he retrieved the box he had obtained earlier from his Pocket Ring, placed the seed inside, and sealed it securely. He then carried the box.
When Alka looked up again, the Flower Fairy had vanished, leaving only scattered petals behind.
"Lord Alka, come with me," the priest beside him stepped forward and said.
Alka nodded and followed the priest out.
Soon, on their way back, they encountered Chadite, who was procuring supplies. Together, they arrived at the port, where Juanlu had been waiting for a long time.
Besides the supplies in their Pocket Rings, they also carried various large and small bags, most of which were food ingredients. Although there should still be some provisions left on the Dawn Sound, they hadn't returned to the ship in a long time, and those ingredients might have spoiled.
The three boarded the Swift Swallow and arrived at the camp. Most of the camp had already been dismantled and all items retrieved.
"So who should stay behind?" Lucilia asked from Alka's shoulder, sounding somewhat conflicted. She hadn't yet decided which Puppet Girls to leave behind.
Alka looked at her and asked, "Have you decided on any?"
Lucilia counted on her fingers. "If I leave, Ling definitely has to stay. She's the most mature and steady, and she can manage the others. Then, we'll leave one member from Team Five, one from Team Seven, and one from Team One."
A Vice Captain, a repairman, a Curse Master, and an assassin? A reasonable configuration.
After some thought, Alka suggested, "Let Xuan stay too, and add a member from Team Nine."
"Why let Xuan stay?" This confused Lucilia somewhat.
"To guard against the unexpected, Xuan is the only one who can enter dreams. Her dream entry point is always within my Royal Court. If anything unexpected happens, our connection won't be severed. Moreover, if necessary, she can also seek support within the Royal Court."
Hearing this, Lucilia nodded in understanding.
"Alright, let's do that. I'll go make arrangements."
With that, she ran off to where the Puppet Girls were gathered. Soon, Alka heard a noisy commotion from behind. It wasn't reluctance; on the contrary, they all wanted to stay behind, believing it would be interesting, heroic, and liberating.
However, the spots were quickly decided.
Alka looked at Ling. A coin appeared in his hand; one side bore the emblem of his Royal Court, and the other, their team's emblem. This was equivalent to Alka's proof of Royal Authority.
"Hold onto this. If there are any problems, you can seek help from Jilenna or the Flower Fairy. If all else fails, Xuan can enter a dream to seek help, using this coin as a beacon then."
Ling nodded.
Soon, the selected group remained in the forest, waving goodbye to Alka and the others.
Alka and his companions also boarded the Swift Swallow, heading straight for the edge of the Sea of Moisture.
The call had already been sent out. The Sound of Dawn had been waiting outside for a long time.
「...」
"The estimated travel time will be about a week or more," Chadite said, piloting the Swift Swallow.
Aided by its rear thrusters, the Swift Swallow now sped across the water's surface like a speedboat, spray kicked up by its passage flying from both sides.
Alka nodded, sitting on the ship and organizing the materials at hand, including the maps they had drawn.
