Chapter 367: Chapter 367; Breakfast 4

She gentled her tone fractionally, not soft, but less cutting. "Once the company starts having negative impact, once the scandal hits and the stock price begins falling, I want you...." she looked directly at Lu Yuze, ".....to purchase shares. At the low price. Use your own capital, not mine. It needs to look like independent investment, not coordinated attack."

Lu Yuze’s expression was thoughtful, clearly running calculations. "How much are we talking?"

"As much as you can acquire without triggering alarm. Push the other shareholders too. Most of them have skeletons in their closets, I’m sure you can find leverage if you dig deep enough." Her smile was sharp as a blade. "Apply pressure. Make them nervous. Make them want to sell before the situation gets worse."

She picked up her fork again, spearing a piece of egg, and continued speaking as if discussing routine business rather than corporate warfare. "By the time Lin Feng gets out of prison, by the time he’s finally released and tries to salvage what’s left of his company, I should be the majority shareholder. Combined with the shares I acquired from Lu Zeyan....." she paused, letting that sink in, "...I’ll have controlling interest."

The implications were staggering. Lin Feng would return from his weekend in hell to find that his own company had been stolen out from under him. His life’s work, his father’s legacy, the business he’d killed for and imprisoned his wife for, all of it slipping through his fingers while he was powerless to stop it.

"Before the board realizes I now own Lu Zeyan’s Lu South Group shares," Shuyin continued, her strategic mind clearly several steps ahead, "purchase more for me. From whoever’s willing to sell. I need to dominate that Group completely. Establish absolute control before anyone can mount effective resistance."

She set down her fork and looked at Lu Yuze directly, her expression carrying the weight of long-term planning. "And once I have that control, I’m going to push for the South Group to become independent. Separate it entirely from the main Lu Conglomerate. Make it a standalone entity."

Lu Yuze’s eyebrows rose slightly. That was a bold move, potentially antagonizing his own family, fracturing the Lu business empire. "My Lu family members won’t like that news you know...." And the possibility of striking back was high.

"I don’t particularly care what anything," Shuyin said bluntly. "The South Group will be mine. Independent. And once it’s free from Lu family control, I’m going to merge it."

"Merge it with what?"

"Chen Industries first, I’m combining it with the South Group." Her voice carried absolute conviction. "Then I’m going after the Lin Company. Three entities merged into one powerful corporation."

She paused, taking a bite of toast, chewing thoughtfully before continuing. "The new company will be split ownership. Half will be for mother to manage and control. The other half..." her gaze flickered briefly to Chen Xiao, still eating quietly, "...will belong to Chen Xiao. His inheritance. His future. This is all I can give him."

The child looked up at the sound of his name, his eyes wide and uncertain. He didn’t understand corporate structures or shareholding percentages. But he seemed to understand, in some vague way, that the adults were planning something that involved him.

"Is that even possible?" Lu Yuze asked, though his tone suggested he already knew the answer. "It’s ambitious. Multiple moving pieces. High risk if anything goes wrong."

Shuyin met his gaze evenly. "I’m not daydreaming. Every piece is achievable. The timing is tight, yes. The risk is real. But the opportunity is perfect." She gestured with her fork, emphasizing her points. "Lin Feng imprisoned and distracted. The Lu board destabilized by the missing heir scandal. Public sentiment turning against both families because of the hospital violence. Market prices dropping. Everyone scrambling to cover their own positions rather than watching what I’m doing."

She leaned forward slightly, her voice dropping but losing none of its intensity. "This is the moment. Right now. While chaos reigns and no one is paying attention to the quiet corporate maneuvers happening in the background. By the time anyone realizes what I’ve done, it will be too late to stop it."

The kitchen had gone very quiet. Even the household staff in the background had stilled, sensing the weight of the conversation even if they couldn’t hear the specifics.

Ting Fei spoke carefully. "The logistics will be complex. Moving that many pieces simultaneously without alerting the wrong people will require precise coordination."

"That’s why you exist," Shuyin said simply. "You and Ah Ling and Ah Ying. Three of the most competent people I know. If anyone can execute this, it’s you."

She turned back to Lu Yuze. "Are you with me on this? It will require your capital, your connections, your name lending legitimacy to some of the moves. And it might put you in conflict with alot of people."

Lu Yuze was quiet for a long moment, his expression thoughtful. Then he reached over and took her hand, his fingers intertwining with hers on the counter.

"When have I not been with you?" he said simply. "Your battles are my battles. If you’re taking down empires and building new ones, then I’m standing beside you while you do it."

Something warm flickered in Shuyin’s chest at that, gratitude, affection, partnership. She squeezed his hand briefly before releasing it, her expression softening fractionally.

"Good. Then we start today. Ting Fei, make those calls about Black Water Ridge. Lu Yuze, start reaching out to your contacts about share purchases. Keep it quiet, keep it legal, but make it happen fast."

"Understood," they both said in near unison.

Yuyan, who’d been listening to this entire exchange with wide eyes, finally spoke up. "Mama, are you... are you taking over those companies?"

There was no judgment in her voice, just curiosity and perhaps a hint of awe.

Shuyin looked at the girl directly. "I’m taking back what was stolen from my mother. From Chen Xiao’s family. And yes, in the process, I’m taking over several companies. Is that something that bothers you?"
