"So you knew? You knew I had another daughter but you said nothing to me. How could have looked me in the face for five whole years and never said anything?"

"Mother was delusional, I wasn’t even sure she was saying the right things. You were already in distress about Tao Luqi matters, were you expecting me to tell you the final words of a woman who suffered dementia." Tao Xiangxi said.

Tao Hui scoffed and said, "I don’t think I can look at you right now."

He walked away leaving Xiangxi with Fu Mingze.

"He is angry," Xiangxi stated.

"I’m sure he will come around but Tao Hui will never be at rest unless he finds out what has happened to Tao Luqi."

"I know and I just hope my little peach is safe." Xiangxi said.

"So, I have a twin sister?" Yang Meiyi asked as Fu Mingze fed her some slices of apple.

Fu Mingze nodded and asked, "Do you want some juice?"

Yang Meiyi nodded with a smile and watched as he poured the juice into a glass. He fed it to her and suddenly licked the few droplets on her lips.

"Mingze!" Yang Meiyi call out shyly.

Fu Mingze chuckled at his wife’s shyness and asked "It’s not like we haven’t kissed before, right?"

"I know, I was just surprised by how suddenly you....." Yang Meiyi’s word was cut short by Fu Mingze’s lips. He kissed her aggressively yet gently, teasing her to open her mouth and when she did, he plunged his tongue into her mouth, tasting the orange juice he had fed her a while ago.

Fu Mingze kissed her like a starved man and didn’t even know how to stop and his woman was not even helping matters by moaning into his mouth. He wished he could devour her, right at this moment but that thought was interrupted when the door suddenly opened with a shout.

"Mummy!"

The couple immediately separated when they heard their daughter’s voice and sighed in relief when they saw Grandpa Fu covering the little girl’s eyes.

"Grandpa, why are you covering my eyes, I want to see mummy." Tao Mei said.

"Should I come back?" Grandpa Fu asked with a smile.

Yang Meiyi’s cheek became red when she heard Grandpa Fu’s question and immediately said "Why would you come back later, my Tao Mei is already here to see her mummy."

With those words, Grandpa Fu removed his hands from covering Tao Mei’s eyes and watched as the little girl ran to her mother without even asking questions.

Fu Mingze laughed at how innocent and adorable his daughter was and he couldn’t help picking her up and showering her with kisses.

Tao Mei giggled and from wanting to see her mother, she became glue to her father.

Yang Meiyi scoffed at the betrayal and was about to complain when she heard Fu Mingze saying "I want her to be called Fu Mei."

"Fu Mei? I like it." Yang Meiyi said with a smile.

"Mummy." Fu Mei called out, it was as if she suddenly remembered that she had come here to see her mother and not her father.

Fu Mingze passed the little girl to Yang Meiyi who immediately hugged her tightly and breathed her daughter’s scent.

Yang Meiyi kissed her daughter’s forehead and said "My baby, I have missed you so much."

It was then little Mei suddenly burst into tears.

Both Fu Mingze and Yang Meiyi were confused on why their daughter started crying.

Yang Meiyi tried consoling her little girl and asked her why she was crying but Fu Mei ignored her mother and kept crying in her arms.

Old Master Fu who knew the reason why his great-granddaughter was crying didn’t say anything, he slowly stepped out of the room and closed the door, giving the family their privacy.

After getting tired of crying, Fu Mei looked at her parents with teary eyes and said "When daddy didn’t allow me to see you for days, I became scared that I wouldn’t see you or brother Liang again."

Yang Meiyi’s heart broke at her daughter’s words, she hugged the little girl tightly and said "Neither mummy nor your brother will ever leave you. We are never going to separate again."

Fu Mei looked at her mother with teary eyes as she asked "You promise?"

Yang Meiyi smiled and said, "I promise."

While hugging Fu Mei, Yang Meiyi looked at Fu Mingze and both of them made a promise in their heart.

"How are you feeling?" Gu Zhen asked. It’s been three days since Nie Yujie came out of the coma but throughout those three days, she hasn’t said a word. Even him has started to wonder if she has lost her speech.

As usual, Gu Zhen didn’t get a reply to his question, he let out a deep sigh and was about to leave the ward when he heard her say, "You must have loved her a lot."

"What?" Gu Zhen asked as he turned to look at the woman lying on the hospital bed.
