Chapter 249: Chapter 249; Mommy, you are blushing

"Mommy, let’s go...."

"Hurry up and pick a basket!"

"Mommy, hurry up!" The kids who had gotten out of the kitchen from the other door turned and gazed at their Mother who was standing there all surprised. They giggled while waving their little tiny hands calling her over.

"Mother, hurry up...." They giggled, laughing away into the garden, following each other in a line. Tang Fei, who was speechless, picked a basket from the kitchen too. She had to be slow with her leg as it hadn’t healed completely.

"Madam, should I carry your basket?" Nanny Yun was the only one in the kitchen at the moment, the maids had done their cleaning and retreated back to their quarters. She also knew their Missus was heavily hurt on her leg and she needed to be careful with it.

"It’s okay but you can come along!" She walked into the backyard garden and walked through the tiny paved way deeper into the gardens. She could see varieties of health and huge vegetables. Sunflowers and roses were planted on the other further side of the garden. The place looked greener and relaxing.

The place was huge, and she hadn’t had time to explore the place yet, not even the dead Tang Fei; apart from all varieties of vegetables being planted there, the place also had flowers and all kinds of fruits planted. There was a greenhouse, too; it went from a wall to the further end, and she couldn’t see its end.

She hadn’t expected the place to be so rich and huge! This man knew how to live, eating everything fresh from the garden. She picked several pieces of pepper that she had noticed were ripe cucumber before proceeding further deeper, following the kids.

She plucked up a ripe tomato and began eating it. The tomatoes were nicely supported and taken care of. So many were ripe and they were nicely lined up. There were also varieties of tomatoes, tiny cherries, there was a purple one, blue, black... Just other kinds of tomatoes she hadn’t seen.

There were different types of green peppers ranging in all colors.

Getting deeper, they came across some peach trees; the fruits had ripened and others rotted away, falling down onto the ground because they didn’t have anyone eating them.

"Mommy, don’t be surprised that we have peach trees. We have so many fruit trees, and all are fruiting as it’s their season; Daddy planted these peaches years ago because you love eating peaches, but you rarely ate them while we grew up! Maybe Daddy doesn’t know you that well." Zhihao loudly sighed looking at the peach trees that were overwhelmed with the ripe fruits while others fell to the ground before rotting away.

They were never a fan of peaches, even if their father didn’t like them, it was their mother whom they thought would like them.

"Why haven’t you told me earlier!" She felt pain seeing the amount of money rotting away like that. It wasn’t a peach season widely in the country. Only a few plants at this time were fruiting, she could have made money! She pinched her thigh looking at the fruits. She heavily gulped as she stared at the fruits that could turn into money.

"Mommy, come over... Let’s pick them up." Zhihao held her hand, drawing her closer, and they began picking up the fruits.

"Auntie, let me call someone to assist us." Seeing her greedy eyes, he could tell she wanted to make a fortune out of them. Qin Xinyu left his basket and walked past them back to the mansion.

"Yes, yes, yes... Go on." She hurriedly waved her hand as Qin Xinyu hurried over to the mansion. Nanny Yun had joined them but was too old to be carrying such heavy baskets to and fro while they had guards.

"Mommy, I will climb the tree, stay down there and I will be tossing them over to you all. Or we can find another carrier." Tinghao was wild and knew how to climb trees, in no time, he was up there with his basket at hand. He harvested the peaches into the basket before passing them over to Xu Xie, who could fill other baskets, and in no time, they were already filled. They needed big harvesting crates to fit all the peaches they would harvest from all the trees.

Tang Fei didn’t waste time, she began eating the peaches while giving Feihao and Minghao each after a peel. They didn’t like them but since it was their mother’s favorite and she had personally given them, they gladly accepted and ate them.

She was done with the first one but her mother passed another peach to her that was already peeled.

"Mother, I’m not a fan of peaches!" Minghao has never liked fruits. She didn’t think they had any unique taste but from having too much sugar which she hated the most.

"Fruits are good for your health!" Zhihao responded as he received a peach from his mother. He was a fan of peaches and liked varieties of fruits, he has never been picky.

"Hehe... It’s okay." Tang Fei didn’t have any habit of forcing the kids to like what she liked! Whatever they thought was good for them, they could have that.

"Auntie, these baskets are full." Twilight gazed at the full baskets; they needed a huge one, and it would be easier to transport them over to the mansion.

"Let’s patiently wait for them to bring something else." They sat there and began eating the peaches while waiting for Qin Xinyu to return, and sooner, he came back with three guards who were carrying crates.

"Missus, Young Masters and Misses...." They politely greeted them as they began shifting the peaches from the baskets over to the crates while Tinghao harvested more. Other kids were seated on the ground with their mothers, eating the peaches while getting their clothes dirty.

"Fei Fei... What do you think?" Xu Xie just wanted to confirm that her friend was okay in this place and she had decided to settle down.

"I’m good, don’t worry... Changed my ways and know what’s worth keeping and fighting for." How could she not be happy when she had several peaches planted in the gardens because she loved them? Wasn’t this a service of love? Wasn’t this a good reason to stick around and enjoy the variety of fruits in the garden? She didn’t care who he had done for, so long as she was the current Tang Fei, she would enjoy everything.

Recalling how that man had pleasured her and brought her to the revered heights, she didn’t have any qualms. He used a jade, a whole jade, what couldn’t she find marvelous about this man!

"Mommy, you are blushing!" Zhihao gently pinched her cheeks before planting a heavy kiss on them. Hearing what his mother had said, was enough to calm his always worried heart. She had decided to live and stay with them and be one happy family.

"Hehe... Mommy ain’t used to this weather." She giggled, kissing his cheeks before ruffling his head hair; she did the same with the rest seated there and watching as the guards parked the peaches from the baskets over to the crates.

Zhihao and Feihao also climbed up the peach trees, they harvested before passing the baskets over to the guards and they packed them into the huge crates.

Only Minghao was seated down; she was, let’s say, a little girl, not as active as others. In the military, they were already training in hiding from the enemies, camouflaging with the tree leaves, and finding their escape route from the wild animals. Climbing trees was the fastest and safest way to hide from jungle danger.

Tang Fei could understand that Minghao couldn’t manage this kind of life. She has always been sheltered by her father and for Zhihao, this guy was a fast learner and resilient. He got to do what he has set his eyes on and achieve them.

"Mommy, we already do know how to climb trees, don’t be too worried. We won’t fall that easily!" Zhihao could see how his mother was looking at him with a worried expression. The last thing he wanted was to make his mother worried. He had to safeguard his little life and give his momma a humble time in protecting them.

"All right, but.....
