Even though Severus’s mouth had been sealed and he could not talk, he could still make muffled sounds. Such a sound came from his throat as he looked at Scarlet, her stomach and then the fire goddess. He was clear surprised and confused by this information.

He was not alone in his heightened state of confusion because so was Scarlet. What kind of crazy talk was this? If she was pregnant, she would know.

In the midst of her anger, the sky turned darker, dimming very quickly without warning.

"Why, why, why would you say it?" she sent a huge wave of power Carnelia’s way. All of the energy in the air had been sucked by her, and she looked ready to launch herself physically at the other goddess.

The goddess of fire was not frightened, she rose into the sky and dyed them red with her own powers.

"Bring it on." she said.

The entire underworld was almost pitch black but red clouds were illuminating it. It looked like a hellish world and some creatures were panicking. The spirit monkeys in particular were making loud noises and hounds were howling from different corners.

Above in the sky, gate keepers and high level reapers had started flying with weapons in their hands. The entire environment looked a preparation for battle.

The old deity quickly placed himself infront of Scarlet and held one hand out. "Calm down, you will harm her instead, Scarlet may not be human but the children are still fragile."

On the ground, Scarlet did not care if these two wanted to tear the underworld apart with their battle. What she needed was an explanation about the fragility of the children.

"I need to get out of here." she said to herself. She teleported out of the underworld immediately.

The old deity had not been able to stop her, and her quick exist clamed the tempers of the two goddesses.

"Great, see what you have done now. She is gone because of you two, I am going to find her." The old deity could not help glaring at Lythia and Camelia before teleporting as well.

"I will not let you hog her to yourself."

Carnelia said with determination. She immediately blinked and so did Lythia and Severus.

As soon as they left, the underworld was restored to it’s former state.

The old deity was the first find her, she was standing outside the hospital in Blue city. Since she was in reaper form, the humans could not see her, and she seemed to be contemplating on whether she should go inside or not.

"It’s a waste of time?" the old deity told her as soon as he appeared out of thin air.

Not a second later, every other party involved appeared after him, and they were reunited just as they had been gathered in the underworld.

"Scarlet, this is a good thing." Lythia said.

Scarlet did not respond, she looked completely unfocused and what Lythia had said had not made it’s way to her mind quite yet.

The old deity clenched his fist and sent a scathing look Carnelia’s way.

Severus opened his mouth to speak but no sound came out so he bumped Carnelia and made muffled sounds.

She removed the force covering his mouth and he said, "What she needs is sometime to deal with this shock. You should all leave for now and return tomorrow."

"No," Both Lythia and Carnelia uttered at the same time.

Not surprisingly, they glared at each other before looking back at Scarlet.

"She needs to understand the danger and sensitivity of this pregnancy. She is the first female reaper to successfully get pregnant after centuries, it needs to be perfect. Nothing can go wrong." Lythia yelled.

Her yell was filled with so much force that thunder roared in the skies.

"Stop yelling." The old deity told her.

Scarlet finally reacted and her body moved. She looked at the three bickering deities and said, "Everyone, shush, just shush. I am confused and none of you is helping. I need an explanation first of all. How am I pregnant? It’s supposed to be this impossible thing so how is it possible?"

"We should talk from a comfortable place." The old deity spoke up first. The answers she needed were going to lead to more questions and it would be a long talk.

"She can’t disappear right now, she needs to give a speech or something about the fire which you started." Severus, shooting hot flames from his eyes glared at Carnelia.

Why had she caused all this mess on a whim? It was hard enough for his partner to run around doing reaper work and now she had to do human work as well, cleaning up after a deity. They always did this; messed up and left the mess to others.

"Don’t blame me, blame them for not including me in the secret. I knew something was fishy the moment you said Lythia has her eating four hell fruits daily. It’s supposed to be one fruit and its not a must to eat it. My suspicions were ignited when you came to me hound and I came to the earth to confirm them.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that she is pregnant!!! Not just with one child but four. And then, imagine how angry I was when I found out that these two had already marked two children."

"Wait, stop!" Scarlet yelled.

Carnelia was disseminating too much information at once and she was trying to wrap her head around it. Everything was just spinning out of control way too quickly and she needed to run quickly and play catch up.

She gasped and her eyes widened. Then, she placed a hand protectively on her stomach and asked warily, "Wait, why are you marking my children?"
