Transmigrated Into the World of Magic and Swords-Chapter 326: Fighting Against Draviel
Cassian was enraged by Draviel’s rudeness. "Young Palace Master, let me fight him. I will show him his place!"
Ren signaled him to stop. "Since you are so eager to fight me, I will grant your wish. But it would be unfair if I got nothing out of this. I will take your space ring if I win the battle. Do you agree with it?"
"I agree!" Draviel was confident he would not lose to Ren. "But you must fight me fairly."
"Sure!" Ren deactivated the Mark of Divinity, allowing everyone to stand up and breathe normally again.
Most people shot cold glares at Ren.
Dragons were proud creatures, so they were enraged when someone forced them to bow their heads.
"What?! Do you want to kneel down again? Or do you want to challenge me too?" Ren could see fury burning in their eyes, but he remained composed.
"Do you think I’m afraid of you? Come! I will fight you!"
"I will fight you too!"
"Let’s teach him a lesson!"
"He humiliated us! We must beat him to death!"
"Show no mercy!"
"Send him to the underworld!"
One by one, they expressed their anger.
Ren stepped down from the bird and landed gracefully in the arena. "Step onto the arena! I will fight you all at once."
More than thirty people jumped onto the ring with angry expressions, but when they were about to attack Ren, Draviel’s cold voice rang out.
"Get off the arena now. Anyone who dares to interfere will be killed by me." Draviel didn’t care about their fury.
He only wanted to prove to Princess Veylina and King Draxion that he was stronger than Ren.
Their angry expressions instantly turned into fear. He was stronger than them, so they didn’t dare to disobey his orders.
"We will teach you a lesson later," they threatened him before returning to their seats.
Draviel shifted his attention to Ren. "Ignore these ants! Your opponent is me."
"I don’t mind fighting all of you at once," Ren replied calmly.
An aura of anger burst from Draviel’s body. "Are you underestimating me?"
"I just don’t want to waste my time." Ren remained standing elegantly, unaffected by Draviel’s fury.
Draviel was breathless with anger.
He hated being underestimated the most, so he lost control of himself instantly.
’I will kill him! I will kill him!’
A mystical sigil appeared on his forehead, and glowing green lines spread across his body.
He wanted to show everyone that the difference between them was like heaven and earth, so he planned to end the fight quickly.
"Die!" Draviel shouted as he swung his fist, sending a huge green dragon at Ren.
"It’s the same move he used to defeat Arknor."
"No! It’s much stronger than before."
"I agree. Look at the dragon! It’s bigger and fiercer!"
"That man is done for!"
"Hmf! That is the price for making Draviel angry."
"I hate that man to the bone! It would be better if he died!"
"Yes. I hate him too!"
All of them sided with Draviel because they were still angry at Ren’s previous action.
At the same time, Ren stared at the incoming strike with a calm expression.
Even though the attack looked dangerous and powerful, he showed no sign of fear, as if it were nothing.
’Let me try that skill.’
He didn’t retrieve his sword from his space ring.
Instead, he took a step back and raised his right fist.
He had never used the skill he got from Zeyrix in a fight before, so he thought it was a good time to try it.
The air around him suddenly thickened, and a golden energy swirled around his fist. The moment he swung his fist forward, a golden dragon burst forth.
The size of his attack was smaller than Draviel’s.
The onlookers smirked, laughed, and made fun of Ren. His strike looked ordinary, so they thought it would be destroyed immediately.
But the reality was different from what they expected.
The moment their attacks collided, the green dragon was shattered instantly. Their grins froze, and their eyes widened in shock.
Not only them, but Draviel was also stunned because he had thought his strike was more powerful.
’No!’
His pupils quivered as the golden dragon flew toward him.
Since he could not avoid it, the attack hit his chest easily, throwing him against the wall and knocking him out instantly.
*Silence...
The entire area fell into dead silence.
The onlookers thought Draviel would be the winner of the battle, but they were wrong.
They were utterly wrong!
Ren even only needed one move to defeat Draviel.
Not two, not three, not five, but just one move!
It was as if Draviel was not a powerful dragon, but a weakling.
"Draviel...lost?"
"How? How could Draviel lose to that man? Isn’t he a powerful dragon?"
"What is this? Are my eyes playing tricks on me right now?"
"He... defeated Draviel in just one move?!"
"Impossible! This is impossible!"
Some of them rubbed their eyes again and again because they could not believe what they were seeing.
On the other side, Arknor, Draviel’s opponent in the final, stood frozen. He knew how powerful Draviel was, yet Ren could still defeat him easily.
If he were the one facing Ren, wouldn’t he meet the same fate?
Queen Valendra and Princess Veylina stared at Ren in surprise.
They had a feeling that Ren was not an ordinary person, but they were still stunned because he was much stronger than they thought.
King Draxion, who was sitting beside them, remained calm as he had already predicted this outcome.
’Do you really think someone with the Mark of Divinity is an ordinary person? What a fool!’ 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
The Mark of Divinity would only choose someone extraordinary, so thinking of him as someone ordinary was a foolish decision.
Like King Draxion, Diana and Scarlett showed no reaction.
Ren had never lost in a one-on-one fight.
He had even defeated opponents above his rank twice, so they knew he would not lose the battle.
Cassian, who was once furious, praised Ren silently because Ren had shown them who he was.
"Since you lost the fight, I will be taking your space ring." Ren enveloped it with energy, pulled it, and caught it in his right hand.
Once he put it in his inventory, he turned to the audience.
"Get in the arena now. It’s your turn," Ren said. "But once you’re here, I won’t show mercy like I did to him. Either you die, or I die."
All people, who had previously wanted to fight him, lowered their heads one by one.
Draviel was stronger than them, yet Ren could defeat him easily, so they knew what would happen if they fought him.
Death!
They would die for sure!
They didn’t want to die, so none of them stepped into the arena.
"Why did you suddenly become quiet? Didn’t you say you wanted to beat me to death earlier?" Ren asked.
They remained silent and chose to swallow the humiliation.
"What a coward!" Ren stated.
Scarlett and the others jumped down from the bird, landing behind him.
Once they were before him, King Draxion asked, "Young hero, do you agree with my request?"
