Luciel continued staying up and dealing with the zombie birds that were within the reach of his glaive while he was also controlling the vines to continue dragging the zombie birds down for other people.
Thankfully, the zombie birds were always taking the initiative to attack, so they would always come to where he was even though he had already killed a lot of them.
