Transmigrated As A Baby Villain-Chapter 53: The Raiders and The Trackers I
In a blink of an eye, things descended into chaos. Every slum resident was running around the camp, some kids ranging from the age of ten to fifteen were packing away their belongings while all of the adults were already pointing their guns at the supposed direction of attack.
BANG! BANG!! BANG!!!
Some shots were already fired into the air, making the residents yell at each other louder to coordinate.
Jay was glad that his teen parents picked him up into the safety of the Red King’s arms or else little KJ would get kicked in the crowd.
"Catch!"
JJ yelped when a rusty hand gun was thrown at her by none other than Pirate herself. The teen girl almost dropped the gun, and she gave the older woman a rather confused look on her peachy face. After living with them a while, the transmigrator learned that while gun is a common weapon, his teenage parents refused to use any. The Red King would disassemble any gun after usage while his companion would give him any guns she came in contact with. The transmigrator couldn’t help but wonder what led to these behaviors, but it’s not the time to worry about his caretakers’ potential past abuse.
"I’ll get another one for yer." The leader Pirate nodded, her head tilting towards the teenage boy. After that, she yelled at her son to grab more firearms.
"Does this happen often?" Eugene cluelessly asked as he reached for his helmet to put it back on.
One of the residents handed the last Wonder Soldier a machete, but he lifted up a hand to decline... Only to pull out a hand gun from underneath his motorcycle’s seat before slamming the heavy seat back down.
The resident, who offered the machete, let out a gasp as if he was betrayed by the fact that Eugene, a Wonder Soldier who’s been through the Superpower War and back, has a weapon on him even though he didn’t use it when he first got there.
As promised, Thor returned with two shot guns, handing out one of them to the Red King. His male caregiver seemed hesitant to take the gun, so the baby transmigrator looked at Thor straight in his face before reaching for it.
"Hey, you’re too young for this!" The boy chuckled wholeheartedly despite their grim situation.
"Oh, no, little guy, that’s not for you. Come to me..!" JJ slammed her hand gun into her partner’s chest as she grabbed Jay out of the Red King’s arms.
Jay had made a decision right then and there: since his power is very very limited and makes him physically feel like hell after he exhausted his stamina, he would only use it in very serious situations. For right now, even though the slum is being attacked, the baby villain would rather to cling to his parents than fight on his own.
With his arms now holding a hand gun, the Red King eyed the rusty shotgun before putting the handgun into one of the pouches on his belt. Then, he took a shotgun from Thor.
Soon, the residents started shooting at three armored cars arriving at the north side gate of the junkyard. The armored vehicles were also greyed and rusty like they were going to fall apart any moment. Even though the armoured vehicles were old, they did the job of running over some tents and crashing down giant piles of junk.
For some unknown reason, those unmarked ugly tanks reminded the transmigrator of the little figurines that used to decorate the shelfs of his old home, back in his old world. However, he couldn’t dwell on that thought for long because his female caregiver began running.
His violet eyes widened when he realized that a huge car tire was about to fall on them, but his female caregiver evaded it in time, only to run into some residents pointing their guns at an unfamiliar biker.
A squeak left Jay’s mouth as his head was shoved into the teenager’s chest, shielding him away from viewing the fight about to take place. Her foot steps took the into a tent that wasn’t put away yet, and the baby wondered why are they hiding when the rest of the slum residents were ready to fight back?
Once they were inside, Jay hopped off his female caregiver’s arms, and he gingerly stared up at her as she rummaged through her backpack.
A small but nervous smile graced JJ’s face when she noticed that the little toddler was eyeing her. She quickly pull out her knives and keep them in her pockets. Then, she strapped her backpack to her before picking up the toddler once more.
"Let’s go, little Kaon. I’ll protect you no matter what." The teenage girl quickly pecked the baby’s forehead, and she began moving once more.
Staying in just one place would be too dangerous since the raiders were roaming around almost randomly, but they would stop to fight the residents. JJ would turn around as soon as she saw a fight about to start, so far they hadn’t encountered a gangster or raider who want—
"HEY, YOU!!!"
Nevermind. Jay spoke too soon.
A rusty dirt bike landed in front of the teenage girl, and her grip tightened on the baby, getting a small gasp of pain from the transmigrator. The biker was a tall and lanky man with a long brown beard. Tattoos of several women’s faces can be seen on his bicep from the huge rip on his leather jacket.
JJ narrowed her eyes before she took two steps back, ready to run, but the biker pointed his gun at her.
"I’ve seen you before!" A rather nasty grin came on the biker’s face. "You’re the little assistant following Lady Red, going around tattooing people or whatever. Red King keeps you around to breed, huh? I heard he’s alive, heheh..."
The teenage girl snarled in response, and the baby finally noticed one of her knives was dropped on the ground before she took two more steps back.
"Where’s that fucker anyways?" The biker laughed dryly, not taking his finger off the trigger.
"Titanium." The teenage girl finally recognized the gangster. He must be an ex-member of the Villains. "Leave and we’ll spare you life."
All the while Jay was panicking, his violet eyes darted around their surroundings to see what he could do to help. The well is twenty feet away... His power isn’t strong enough to pull water from that far yet. Maybe he could trip the biker if he dare to come closer like Eugene did?
Bang!
A warning shot was fired on to the ground where JJ was standing, and she jumped. The dropped knife immediately got into action.
"AAAAAH!!! SHIT FUCKS!" The biker cussed out the world as he reached for the knife that was launched into his feet.
Even the thick boots couldn’t stop the thin knife from drawing blood. It was enough of a distraction for JJ to began running away again.
Each shot behind her narrowly missed her body as she hid behind piles of junk to escape the deranged biker. Not before long, the biker followed them behind mountains of trash.
Jay’s eyes landed on a half full water bottle stuck in a crashed sink, in a like of trash that his caretaker was hiding behind. Knowing their situation, the transmigrator began staring at the water to see if he could send it flying towards their attacker.
No matter how much te tried, it didn’t work.
System! What the hell? Is this the extend of his powers? Shouldn’t he have more range?
"Titanium!?!" The Red King’s unmistakable voice called from another direction, diverging the biker’s attention.
"Arn’t you supposed to be dead?" The biker pointed his gun at the teenage boy after he stopped his pursuit. "Ya know a gun like that can’t kill me—"
A pair of hands covered Jay’s delicate eyes, and in the next second, he could hear flesh exploding. The sound, especially the crunch, was a little different from the first time the transmigrator had to listen to his male caregiver explode someone’s head.
Out of curiosity, Jay clawed his female caregiver’s hands away. Oh, wow shit... He shouldn’t have done that because the sight in front of him would give him more mental scars that he already has.
A shiny silver human skull sits on top of the biker’s body, yet the biker was still pointing his gun at the teenage boy. The damage was also done to his shoulders, but for some reason, the arm could still move to shoot. Just like a professional, the Red King had no trouble keeping himself safe from the bullets, and he even had a metal trashcan lid as a shield.
SYSTEM! ISN’T HE SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD BY NOW? ANSWER ME! WHY IS HE DOING THE TERMINATOR THINGY?
Upon the transmigrator’s request for an answer, the System happily pinged in.
[ TITANIUM WAS AN INFAMOUS VILLAIN WHO HELPED LADY BLUE IN HER EARLY DAYS OF CONQUEST. HIS POWER IS HAVING TITANIUM BONES AND GIVEN ENOUGH TIME, HE CAN RECOVER ANY FLESH AND BLOOD AS LONG AS HIS SKELETON IS STILL INTACT. ]
How are they gonna kill him then?!?
